Dean found everyone except for Damon and Leon at he end of the match. Sadly, Leon mistook the game as over and ran out into the open screaming that he won. The seeker immediately headed towards the noise and found Leon, meaning Damon had won instead!
Once Dan officially announced that the game of hide and seek was over, he called Damon over to receive the prize. His classmates poked at him with envy, finally forgetting about the incident on the first day of class.
Without angry stares anymore, it finally seemed peaceful in classroom 127 for once. It calmed his heart for a bit, but it started speeding up the moment he saw the words written on the skill scroll.

A legendary skill! I can’t believe I actually got one from a game of hide and seek! But that means there's only one last skill that I can acquire before I have to put points into my Magic stat.
His excitement seeped all the way down to his bones, and it registered with the whole class. They began shouting out in surprise, but it was mostly jealousy. They could’ve been the ones to get the legendary skill, but this commoner has received it instead. It wasn’t received we’ll be the many nobles in the class, which caused them to start shouting complaints at Dan.
“Now now class, that was completely luck based. We had nothing to do with the skill he received,” said Dan while trying to calm his class down. “We are interested at what skill you got though, Damon.”

This time, his teacher directed his gaze at Damon, having his interest piqued by the sudden appearance of a legendary skill.
“Sorry, I won’t be sharing the info with everyone. I would love if it could stay a secret,” responded Damon solemnly.
The class was disappointed, but they couldn’t do anything about it. Some insults were thrown at him, but that was probably because they were jealous that they weren’t the ones that received the legendary skill.
Next, Damon sat down and class started for real. Dan talked about monsters and how to deal with them for the whole day. The talks were a bit boring for Damon, so he ignored most of it until the end of the day.
“See you tomorrow Damon!” said Leon, while waving goodbye. “Don’t even think about disappearing because class is so boring!”
“Don’t worry. I won’t disappear forever just cause of a boring lecture,” replied Damon sarcastically.
The two turned their backs on each other and headed towards home.
What should I do tonight? Hunt some more monsters? So far I’ve hunted one kobald, some goblins and monkeys.
In his head, Damon was trying to remember all the monsters he had killed so far.
Serves her right. She was a monster, so I guess it counts when she died.
He silently chuckled to himself about the clever joke he made about Rachel. It was a serious topic, but he paid that no mind. He didn’t care anyways.
BUZZZ
“ugAhhaA,” shouted Damon out loud.
A pain inducing headache was splitting his mind. It came out of nowhere, and brought Damon to his knees. Imagine setting fireworks off inside your skull, that would be about the same as what Damon felt.
I-I… gotta get out of… here…
Damon was struggling against the force, fearing that his life might be on the line. If a being could do this to him so easily, what would happen if he got caught?
Tele...port… Acti...va-
Out of nowhere, a familiar voice resonated inside the boy’s head, interrupting the activation of his newly acquired skill.
[You think you could shake me off with a measly skill like that? It doesn’t seem like you’re ready to face off against ‘them’ yet boy, so how could you face off against me in your current state? I’ll have to speed up the process a tiny~ bit, just so you can get a little bit stronger.]
“Damn fairy! What the hell are you doing to me!” screamed Damon at the top of his lungs, but there was no one nearby that could hear him.
[Do not worry~ You’ll definitely have become stronger after this ordeal!]
Her voice sounded cheerful and full of excitement, but this ordeal she talked about sent shivers down Damon’s spine. What kind of ordeal was it that a mythical being had came to pick him up herself? She wasn’t there in person, but the fairy’s voice was chilling.
“Wherever you are, stop… gAHhh!”
You wouldn’t think he could collapse further than his knees, but that’s exactly what happened to Damon. He fell unconscious, sprawled on the pavement.
[Darn, now I have to do some work! Maybe I shouldn’t have shouted that loudly so you could follow me yourself. Ugh-]
With dissatisfaction, the fairy picked Damon up and opened a portal.
[There you go boy! See ya!]
Without hesitation, she tossed Damon through the portal to who knows where, and then closed it after confirming the boy had successfully made it through.
[After this, I hope you’ll finally have enough strength to do what I need you to do- that’s why I gave you that gift after all!]
A white portal, unlike the black one the fairy had just opened for Damon, opened up and the being went through it. As she passed through, a voice could be heard beyond.
“Where did you go!!! I never said you could go down to Earth! COME HERE RIGHT NOW YOU CURSED FAIRY!”
[Hehe~]
While the fairy was being scolded by someone, Damon was busy suffering in an alternate dimension.
Where the hell am I! Where did that fairy take me!
[Hell. That’s where you are.]
The being that spoke these words had a voice that was clearly not form this world. It had an unimaginable deep tone, that resounded throughout the whole place, and gave one a feeling when they heard it. One word, and it would make you cower in fear. It was the voice of… a devil.
