Every story has an end and sadly, this one is near it’s end. Hope you enjoy that last chapters.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s currently break time and I’m eating sandwich with Leor on the open field of the school. The hours passed by peacefully, and I’m quite happy about it. After eating, I plan on getting some books from library before going back to class.
I wish everyday will be like this....
I then heard a feminine voice behind me. “May I sit beside you?”
I looked back and saw a black haired girl. I didn’t reply and continued eating, but she took it as a ‘yes’ and sat beside me. She had this saintly aura like Rowen and miss Vinea, but there’s something telling me she’s a lot different from the two.
“Do you want some?” She said while showing her lunch box.
I waved my hand, indicating that I decline. Seeing that, she placed it on her lap and started eating.
After I finished the sandwich, I stood up and said. “Leor, let’s go.”
“Yes master” He said while staring at the girl’s lunch box.
The girl chuckled. “Do you want some?”
Leor was hesitant, so he turned to me and asked. “Master, can I?”
“No need to be shy, my servant cooked too much so I actually need someone to help me.”
I didn’t say anything and sat on the ground. Fine, there’s still time and I find this place relaxing anyway.
After a eating a few, she gave the remaining food to Leor, who immediately accepted it. She then moved closer to me and said. “This place is peaceful don’t you agree?”
Why is this girl acting all chummy?
“In the past it was filled with monsters, yet now there’s this academy. A place where there’s no conflict, a place filled with highly advanced innovations, a place where people with magic gather, yet why is this the only place like this? Everything outside is chaotic, yet the so called magicians do nothing to change it.”
What is this girl saying?
“We live in comfort because we have magic? Because we are stronger? Doesn’t that sound stupid? Shouldn’t we, the stronger ones, protect the weaker ones?”
Why is she telling me all these? Am I supposed to agree with her?
“Sorry, did I say too much?”
“Finish!” Said Leor
As soon as he gave the lunch box back to the girl, I stood up. “Thank you for the food.” This girl is a bit loose in the head....
“Don’t mention it.” She said with a smile.
“Leor, let’s go.”
“I should be the one thanking you for giving me the honor of being with you.”
Huh?
She stood up and from her shadow, a person appeared. “It’s a pleasure to meet you again, child of calamity.”
T-this voice, it’s the one from my dream...
“As thanks for staying with me, I’ll give you a present, but I will give it tomorrow.” As she spoke, an intimidating aura scattered all over the field. It was a lot heavier than Leor’s killing intent, what’s more, her aura wasn’t filled with any negative intentions, just a pure and powerful aura. “Oh, I’ll also give some for your new friends, no, I’ll give the whole academy a present, how does that sound?”
After that, she slowly got sucked into her own shadow. “Bye~”
Shortly after she disappeared, the man covered in black coat jumped into his own shadow. “Farewell, child of calamity.”
W-what kind if situation is this? W-what just happened? T-that’s right, Leor ate her food!
I quickly turned to Leor but he looks completely fine. “Do you feel anything wrong? Even if it’s just a slight change, tell me!”
“None master” He said with a serious expression.
First, problems with students, now this? This isn’t funny, I never expected something like this would happen, this is way past a simple social problem. This is a grave matter, I need to tell someone quickly, I need to tell the sir Fairhart first!
Since there was still time, Leor and I ran to the disciplinary office. When I got there, I was scolded for running inside the school.
After telling him the story, and after he repeatedly asked me if I was lying, he made a serious expression.
“Miss Leterwine, if what you say is true, then we have to cancel all classes now. There’s only one black haired girl I know that could use shadow magic and has a humanoid servant, Night Queen Diana, the leader of the dark magician organization ‘Genesis’.”

It really sounds dangerous, why in hell do I have to go through all this? Can’t I have one problem at a time? I can’t even count the number of things I have to solve....
“But why would she show herself to you first?”
I didn’t say everything to him since it will put me in a bad situation. I only said she showed up as a student and revealed her identity later. What I told itself is filled with flaws, but it’s better than suddenly becoming an enemy of the academy.
First, the way she acted around me makes me feel that they don’t see me as an enemy, and that alone would make me an enemy of the academy. Second, they didn’t kill me despite the fact that I could tell everyone about the attack, either proving my first statement or simply because they’re confident about the attack. It’s not certain if the gift she’s talking about is an attack, but there’s a high chance that it is.
Lastly, the way her servant called me makes me sound more dangerous than her. Child of calamity? What am I the final boss? Am I supposed to be evil or something? What, is this some sort of game where there’s a war between justice and evil?
Heh, if it’s a game then it would be more of a galge game instead of rpg, no, it’s more like an otome game because all I’ve met so far are males....
Tsk, this is becoming more serious and complicated. Come on, I haven’t even adapted to this world, I don’t even know what situation I’m in, and now this? Every time I plan something, an event will happen that would completely crush it. Even if this was a fucking game, shouldn’t there be a time for me to rest between every events? Seriously, give me a break!
Seeing me distressed, sir Fairhart got a bit worried. “Alice?”
A sharp pain entered my head, making me hold my forehead. “I-I don’t know.”
The pain grew stronger and soon, I could no longer think straight. My body felt very weary, the sounds around me were jumbled, everything was spinning, and before I fainted, I heard two voices in my mind.
My voice old voice and Alice’s voice.“Time to wake up from your little dream, Alice.”
Rowen’s POV:
I was eating lunch with the other student council members until the bell rang with a tempo indicating that the classes were canceled. It was too sudden and it wasn’t very clear what the reason behind it is, so I immediately ran to search for Alice. I checked her room, I checked her dorm, but in the end, I found her sleeping in the nurse’s office, with sir Fairhart, the school nurse, and Leor who was crying while holding the blanket covering her.
“WHAT HAPPENED?”
“Keep your voice down.”
I quickly ran to the side of the bed to get a closer look at her. She seem’s to be sleeping normally.
“She suddenly fainted while I was talking to her. Aside from that, there’s a more urgent matter we need t-“
I pulled the collar of sir Fairhart’s coat and said. “What’s more important than her? Tell me!”
He sighed and pushed my hands away. “Kids this days are too driven by their emotions. Forget it, I’ll talk with the principal and the teachers, you stay here and watch that girl.”
He then walked out of the room.
I turned to the nearest staff and asked. “What happened?”
Eric’s POV:
The academy and the students’ life are in danger. This isn’t the time to let emotions run wild....
I know she’s still hiding things from me, but I’m sure what she said to me wasn’t a lie. Knowing Diana’s personality, that gift should be an attack of some sort. We need protect the students.
Diana is not the type to show up in front of people that are useless for her plans, so I can’t fully trust miss Leterwine yet....
While walking, the other teachers came to meet me.
“Sir Fairhart, what’s the bell for? You better have a good reason.”
“There’s a possibility that ‘Genisis’ will attack us tomorrow, quickly spread the news. Make the first year and second year students form into groups and hide in their dorms. Also, mobilize the student council and third year students.”
“G-genisis?”
“No time to waste, tell everyone now! I’ll tell the principal the situation myself.”
After that, the teacher went to different directions, while I made my way to the principal’s office. If this is a prank, I’ll punish her severely, but if it isn’t, I just hope the casualties will be minimal....
