Silver Circle is one of the most advanced technological military industries in the world, It was originally founded in Bay City in 1958. It was blah blah blah blah..."
I chose to tune out my history teacher. I mean, honestly, he was just repeating the same stuff I already knew.
I turned to the window. My mind wandered, thinking of home. Mostly on how incensed my father would be once he found out I got in trouble again.
I smirked a bit at the thought as much as knew I'd be in deep shit it. It would still be funny to watch him lose it. Honestly, he's been a complete pain ever since the...
"No, I'm not going there," I couldn't help but sigh quietly, stopping my train of thought. "I've been hanging with Noah too much; I'm getting sappy," I whispered under my breath.
"So do you always mutter to yourself dear or is this new?"
I jumped a bit at the posh voice and turned to see the blonde girl from earlier.
Her head rested elegantly on the right arm it laid on, an amused smirk gracing her pale but beautiful face. However, the triumphant smirk didn't reach her eyes which seemed to analyze me.
I chose to ignore how much that unnerved me.
"When did you get here? Wasn't Kat sitting here?" I asked. Her left eyebrow raised in bewilderment.
"I've been here for 30 minutes, Mr Bruno introduced me to the entire class when I entered,"
Hearing the news, I ended up being a bit surprised. I didn't realize time had gone so fast. My facial expression must have mirrored this as she pursed her lips in a thin line, trying not to let out a laugh or possibly a giggle.
"Were you honestly not paying attention?" she asked entertainment in her tone of voice, even with her accent. I just shrugged my shoulders in response.
"What can I say...I've had a long day,"
"I do say you have, I heard the rumours about Xavier Park's son being a rebel..."
I eye-rolled at the mention of my father, and if fancy pants saw it, she just kept talking.
But I thought they were just fact-less rumours. But the first thing I see when I enter is you in the principal office.

"Getting reprimanded I assume?"
Despite it sounding like a question I could tell from her voice it was a statement. Once again responded with a nonchalant shrug of my shoulders. "I was put there on false charges "."Funny from what I heard you also said the same thing when you supposedly got expelled at your old school . For accidentally burning down the assembly hall?."In my defence, I didn't realize how flammable everything was".
The amusement on her face quickly turned to a blank expression." That's a horrible excuse Please tell me you got something better then that Park "?. "Nope, that's pretty much it ". Anyway, Queen Elizabeth what brings you to Eden? She rolls her eyes at the little nickname I gave her.
"My father got a new job in the States so we moved here to ocean town ". "Really What's he do" ?. Mhmm oh, he's just a small-time businessman, dear nothing too extraordinary.
"Ms Grey and Mr Park please pay attention!"
I turned at the front of the board to see my teacher giving us (or more specifically me) a scathing look. "Sorry sir, it won't happen again," I said, a blank expression on my face and a dull tone apparent in my voice. I could see his left eye twitch.
"That tone earns you detention, Mr. Parks,"
I rolled my eyes. To be honest, I found it dumb considering if it were anyone else he probably wouldn't say a word.
"Mrs Grey, since you are new here I'm being easier on you. But in the future, I suggest paying attention in class,"
"Of course sir my apologies,"
In contrast to mine, hers was more respectful...she kinda sounded embarrassed too.
"Good. Now as I was saying, Silver Circle founders were—"
RING!!
He seemed caught off guard by the noise. Students left class at the sound of the bell, Fancy pants and I followed suit.
"Remember Charlie, at the end of the school day,"
"Yes sir! wouldn't miss it for the world!"
As I walked out into the hallway I noticed Ms. Posh and perfect was still following me.
"So blondie, gotta ask...why are you following me?" I asked, my left eyebrow raised.
"Are you always this crass and rude to teachers?" she asked, a mixture of curiosity and interest in her tone.
"Of course not. That'd be rude and disrespectful. Also, you didn't answer my question," I replied, looking at her with a blank expression.
"Well...I was just curious about something," she said her eyes watching me intently. "You're probably the only one with real answers...if you don't mind me asking,"
Scoff
"Sure, ask away," I said. "I wonder what dumb rumour you heard about me..."
She smiled contently at my response.
"Is it true that you got your mom killed ?"
My eyes widened slightly I dunno how she heard about the event...and I didn't wanna know.
"Nah, it's just some rumour...anywho later".
I quickly walked away, not bothering to hear her response or see her reaction. Memories of that night started crashing into my mind like waves hitting the beach. Memories that quite frankly, I was disgusted that I was thinking about it.
I quickly went to the restroom and headed to the sink, washing my face.
"You're being dramatic Charlie!" What you saw that time wasn't real...everything is fine and you're good!" I couldn't help but mutter to myself before looking in the mirror
"What the hell?"
my eyes glowed a strange teal colour and my pupils became slits...almost resembling that of a serpent.
"Nothing is good..."
