Brawl

I didn't get scared.

I was Charlie Park! Charlie Park doesn't get scared...he did get panicked, however. Kinda like now. Looking into the mirror and staring at those creepy eyes that didn't feel like my own. It was uncomfortable, to say the least...

Honestly, this was getting all too familiar and I was in no mood to freak out on the school grounds. The last thing I needed was for everyone to think I was emotionally unstable.

I quickly rinsed my face. My heart was still pounding in my chest. It's not the first time I've had dumb accusations thrown at me. Why the hell was I panicking so much about this one? I mean, she was more direct than others had been, but still...

Ughhhh! This whole situation was so unbelievably cringe that it was downright laughable! I splashed the sink water across my face repeatedly. Very glad the bathroom seemed empty right now. Looking back into the mirror, my eyes were back to normal. The weird teal colour they had was now back to their normal green colour.

"Okay, everything's good now..." I sighed, paused and looked into mirror for a bit. I just stood in silence looking at my reflection for a few minutes.

Another sigh escaped my lips before I chose to exit the bathroom. However, as I opened the door I ended up bumping someone.

"ugh watch—oh...it's you."

I rolled my eyes at the statement.

"Great to see you too, Danny,"

That was in fact a lie. Danny was the worst person to see right now or whenever. The brunette boy simply scowled at me.

"Listen here, you pompous prick—"

"I'd rather not, you high school bully cliche," I say calmly.

"Go jump off a bridge!" he growled out. "I don't care how rich your dad is, if you think I'll let you humiliating me slide—"

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

"Yeah, I don't care and this conversation is boring bye!"

I quickly walked past him and exited the bathroom...but I felt him pull at my arm.

"Don't you dare walk away from me you ass!!"

Students walking in halls near the bathrooms paused to look at us. But my main focus was on this guy.

"Let go, Danny, I'm not in the mood for this today,"

"Oh no! The spoiled princess isn't in the mood, whatever shall I do?" he scoffed.

"I wanna say let me go and stop acting like a waste of oxygen, but that's asking too much from you isn't it?"

"I'm the waste of space?! Everyone knows the only reason you're not in jail by now is because of your dad!"

His grip on my arm tightened and he stepped closer. He was now staring up defiantly.

"You're just a spoiled rich kid living off Daddy's money and your family name," he smirked.

"What? Don't tell me you're jealous."

"Of what? You being rich?"

"No. Of me having a dad." I said.

Danny's response was a quick jab to my face that forced me to stumble back a bit. In all honestly I kinda deserved that. He swung at me again—but I ducked and landed a blow to his gut making him step back a bit wincing in pain.

I entered a boxing stance.

He shot more wild punches my way. But I slickly slipped past the attacks while simultaneously landing plenty of powerful body shots on him. Until recently I haven't had any real issues with Danny. That's why despite messing with Noah, I didn't mess him up nearly as much as I wanted to. I decided to go easy on him since I didn't want any lasting beef.

But that ship seemed to have sailed.

Between messing with my friend and messing with me...he'd kinda dug his own grave. Danny (who seemed to get very angry) snarled at me before throwing a clumsy punch at me. It was the type of punch amateurs who didn't know how to fight threw: A full power swing that moved in an ark.

I easily blocked the punch with my forearm and launched an explosive uppercut at his chin. And like a puppet whose strings got cut, he collapsed onto the floor unconscious.

WOAAAH

I turned to see that a pretty large crowd of students had formed around us.

Some had their phones out.

They must've been taking a video of the fight. Others seemed stunned. Confused. Amused, maybe. I couldn't help but smirk at the unconscious boy. As much trouble as I would get in...even possibly getting suspended for fighting twice in one day.

I gotta admit: kicking his ass twice felt good.

"Charlie!!" I turn to look back at the ocean of blue and white school uniforms. I saw a familiar curly-haired dark-skinned boy standing there with Jade and Greg standing right next to him; all three wearing varying expressions. Shock, surprise or in Greg's case: amusement. I already knew Noah and Jade would harass me about this.

Charlie Park!!

I turned to the source of this new voice calling me.

Principle Brenda. Anger spread across her face.

"Park, to my office right now!" her voice boomed loudly. That did a sufficient job of removing the smirk on my face.
