There's this tale of two mice, one's a city mouse that eats good food but lives a short life and then there's the country mouse, who eats bland meals but lives a long life of peace. The question is: do u prefer to be city or country mouse? The answer always seemed obvious to me...what's the point of living like country mouse? We only have one life, live it dangerously,"
I tried to make my face as profound as possible as I said. If I make a single blunder this creature would show know mercy ripping into me.
"Charlie I asked you why you got into a fight with Danny, not your entire viewpoint on life," The older woman said, looking equally exhausted and irritated while the additional occupants of the room were either sporting looks of amusement (or I suppose in the case of the dumb lug named Danny): annoyance and pain as he held his bruised cheek.
"Well ma'am, with all due respect, this has everything to do with that," I said. "I was taught that I should stand for my beliefs,"
"You punched Danny's face and knocked out his tooth!"
I swear I can hear her blood boiling but she tried hard to remain calm. "How does that have anything to with your beliefs?"
She was clearly exasperated. Honestly, I'm surprised she isn't used to this by now.
"It's my belief he's a moron and he should be punched in the face," I declared with the conviction of a war general and the most serious face I can muster and the present moment.

PFFF!
The teacher that brought us in tried and failed to conceal his amusement at my claim. He shut up though when principal Brenda gave him a sharp look.
Danny just seemed to glare at me but honestly with the bruised face of his...well, it wasn't that threatening. Noah who was right next me looked pretty concerned and amused. I bet if he wasn't worried about us (or more accurately: me getting in trouble) he would be laughing.
"Charlie, both you and Danny are gonna get detention for fighting and I will be calling your parents, whom I'm sure will be very disappointed,"
I rolled my eyes at that subtle jab at me. Well...not that subtle. She was looking directly at me as she said it. "Noah, you're free to go since you were dragged into this by Charlie," she said. I could tell noah wanted to protest at the statement but I gave him a look.
"Noah , Charlie, Danny you three should head to class", Principal said.
Noah hesitantly nods his head at me and the two us headed out the door. From the corner of my eyes I could see Danny boy glaring daggers at me behind. I had to resist the urge to laugh out loud.
I could never take Danny seriously.
He always acts tougher than he actually is. As noah opened the door, there were two people were standing in front of it: one was just a teacher. But the girl next to him, I'd never seen before.
She had silk platinum blonde hair that was cut in a bob. Her skin was as pale as snow her eyes that we're a dark shade of lavender. I thoughtve she must've been a new student since she wore the white and blue uniform of eden prep. Noah just blushed madly like a school girl...but was hardly noticeable because of his dark skin.
"Oh I'm sorry ma'am, am I interrupting something?" asked the teacher at the door. I honestly couldn't be bothered to remember his name at the moment. I was too busy looking at this girl.
She had an air of mystery to her...
"Not at all, David," Brenda replied. "Mr park and jackson were leaving..."
Me and noah just head out but I could swear those violet eyes were analysing me...
