Piltover - Veteran's Center - [The Future]
"And Caitlyn?" Lawson furrowed his brow.
Woods smirked faintly. "Caitlyn did join her, at first. But Terrance wouldn't let her fully fall into Ambessa's ranks."
Woods clenched his fists, the anger from those days still fresh in his voice. "I wanted to retaliate," he admitted. "Didn't give a damn about what Ambessa or Atriox had to offer. To me, they were just a couple of vultures circling over Piltover, waiting for a chance to pick it apart. But retaliating outright? That'd have put lives at risk—innocent people, civilians, Enforcers. It wasn't a gamble we could afford. Not with Atriox and Ambessa holding control over Piltover."
He let out a slow breath, his hands relaxing on the armrests of his chair. "Terrance knew that. He played the long game. Waited. Kept a close eye on Ambessa and Atriox, watching their moves, waiting for the right time to act."
Woods leaned forward slightly, his voice quieter now, tinged with frustration. "It took time. We didn't rush it. We couldn't. All the while, we were waiting for Caitlyn to make her move—waiting to see if she'd side with Ambessa, fall for her promises. And for a while, we weren't sure. She didn't let anyone in, didn't let us see what she was thinking."

He looked up at Lawson, his expression hardening. "But Caitlyn? She's smart. Strong. Terrance trusted her, and deep down, I did too. We just had to hope she'd make the right call when the time came."
"Eventually, Caitlyn broke away, went against her. Terrance words made Caitlyn realize what was really going on—Ambessa's and Atriox's true intentions."" He paused, leaning back towards his wheelchair.
"And with Ambessa realizing Caitlyn's betrayal, the war with Piltover officially began." Woods paused for a moment, "And let me tell you, the Enforcers? They couldn't handle the brute strength of Ambessa and Atriox had on their own. No way. We had help—the Marines, the Spartan himself, Master Chief."
Woods chuckled, shaking his head. "And Jinx? Well, she decided to play hero and jump into the fray too. She even brought some of her friends from Zaun along for the ride. The crazy part?" He leaned forward slightly, his voice lowering like he was sharing a secret. "Sevika was apart of this fight. Can you believe that?"
He let out another chuckle, the disbelief still evident in his tone. "I guess that revolution Jinx kicked off wasn't so bad after all. Who knew chaos could lead to something... decent?"
