Where the hell have you been, and when are you gonna post again?

I know that this is the question on everyone's mind, and I want to apologize for my lack of communication.

So someone recently told me about the "Author's Curse", where crazy things would start happening because the universe just wants to fuck with your ability to just sit down and write. I laughed at the concept... at first.

So as you know I got sick. That wasn't so bad, mostly allergies that got out of hand.

Then we discovered rot on our backdoor, so it needed to be replaced. In the middle of replacing said door, I inadvertently cut through a power line that the previous owners in all of their infinite idiocy had decided to run between the frame of the house and the jamb of the door. Thankfully I am uninjured, but we lost power to parts of the house until this weekend.

There were a few other things that happened in between, but I don't think it's necessary to go into the details. Suffice it to say that I am now a firm believer in the curse and pray that it's decided it's done with me for now.
