She suddenly make the first move,she runs toward me and swing her sword. I parried it with dagger and prepare to attack her,but I can't..I immediately jumped back.At this rate I will lose...I need to think solution.

"You obviously wasn't in your best condition,yet you try to kill that trash.Lux,you are too reckless.This is your first mistake."

She said that in front of me as she hit my side with her sword hilt.My wound immediately opened,blood begin dripping from it.I quickly swing my dagger so she jumped back in response but she didn't budge and only stare at me.I stopped middleway...Just in front of her face.But then she lifted my arm the hand that holding dagger and throw me away...I recover my balance in the air.Good,she shoudln't be able to move in air,with this I can run away from her..But I put knife in front of me...and block her sword.This time it break my dagger..Sinc-.

"Lux,each weapon have limit and you should know it by yourself. Your dagger live was greatly reduced when you fight those reptiles in dungeon.This was your second mistake."

Iris kicked me back in the ground,because the impact all of my wound that closed by bandage opened.I coughed blood,then Iris sword stab the ground beside me.She then said..

"Third...You never  take account of people who are stronger than you.Lux,you weren't weak. But that doesn't mean you are strong either,no..in fact I only I won because you were afraid to hurt me.Still you never consider people you can't beat,didn't you lux?"

She bent over while see my eyes,She was asking me a question.But I was afraid of answering,I was afraid...That she will leave me alone again.Knowing that,she lay beside me on the ground and said while looking toward the stars.I have chance to run and leave her alone,but I didn't dare too..I believe If I do that then I will lose something important.

"There was no need worry,I am not going to leave you alone. That's why just answer me honestly okay?"

"..Honestly I considered it.I even know old man going to protect that trash."

"Lux,if you know that far then why?"

"I want to vanish,I want to gone from both of your live.That's why I plan to abandon everything,including my own live. I want lux to cease exist.After all I-."

"Lux,why you think yourself isn't human?Tell me?"

She cuts me in the middle,then she look at me she wants me to tell her everything.Well she will just found it later,hiding it will be meaningless.But I was afraid....that she will leave me alone.Thought..In the end I opened my mouth anyway..

"I was picked up child,Supposedly they found me in garbage box near their house."

"Lux.Surely that was a mistake,after all you-"

"I already did dna check and the answer was negative. Beside That was not the main reason.."

"What do you mean?"

I tried to open my mouth..but..I just can't say it..I was afraid.

"I can't tell you.I am sorry Iris."

Ran away,that was I thought.I stand up then jumped up to the window I opened,then I go the the bed they prepared and go to sleep.There is no way I can tell them.I want to tell them the truth,I want to know they understand me. But I realized that was impossible..If they know it..then everything will be over. I don't want to be alone,even if it is fake,that's fine. I will keep this to myself,I will keep it as long I can. Maybe in the future they will understand. As I thought that..I recalled that 'man' words,the one who abandoned me.

"You won't have anyone as your ally,your existence itself was sin.I am tricked by my own foolishness,I should kill you when you was baby.Lux,you will be always alone and I will make sure of it!!!!You traitor!"

My eyes begin teary and I started crying. Regaining my connection,make me recover partial of my emotion...at the same time I know the painful of this feeling. Soon I notice I begin to stop breathing..But after a moment..I started coughing and feel weak.

"Why?Why I can't just die. Why?Why I can die?Why you must curse me!!?Why!!!?Just what I did wrong?Why I must born!!"

I keep crying while saying that to myself.I once again recalled myself another 'man' word,the one who lost his only family.

"You are the one who killed my daughter!!!"

That's right,it was me who killed her. I failed to protect her...no.I let her to death. I was too weak and It was me who killed her..It was my me who bring her to death. If only..If only I wasn't her friend.It's painful..It was my mistake..not just her...everyone dead...was my mistake. Everything was my fault!!!I am the one who betray them!!!Even now..

"Even now...I betray them..I lied to them. Iris,big sis..Please...Forgive me."

I closed my eyes in pain and keeping beg forgiveness deep inside of my heart.Soon the pain subsided and I fall asleep.I was absolutely sure I was having nightmare today,but it was a mistake.I feel safe,warmth. I feelthere is always someone with me..I don't know who is she/he..but I was grateful.Thank you for being with me...

Iris wipe lux's tear,she then turn off the light and exit his room. There was someone waiting outside of the room.Her face was full of worry,she then asked..

"How is lux?"

"He is sleeping now,probably will return to his old persona after wake up."

"I am glad."

"..So you are glad that lux put that strong front?"

"Of course not!!But what can we do?"

Lux's sister looks down,In fact she was a lost when she heard the shout outside of the door. If she thinks it carefully,It was normal. Living in this kind of hell,everyday he struggling to sleep,to eat. Yet no one cares about him.He acts strong so less people will bully him..

"It's better to put strong front rather than your weak self.At least it reducing his suffering."

"You are wrong,he put strong front not for himself. It's for you and me,to begin with we never see bullying take place. It is like he don't want us to worry."

Iris was sure about that,since she never seen him once. The only time he see all of this time was the saving he did.

"It's bit ironic,he saved so many people yet those people treat him inhumanly.Lux himself must know it the best the pain when no answered your plead for help. Why he didn't ignore that damn animal."

Iris grit her teeth in anger,in her previous live she was no better.She recalled her previous live. It was only after 60 week,that she met him again in battlefield. He protected her and escort her too his city,yet what awaiting those is extortion from people. Iris basically ignored shameless attitude of people and he asked her what she needed. He give her what she wanted. To her ,her family was everything and she won't believe someone that abandon him when she child and treated him like stranger.Only after 70 week her family abandon her and sell her to top strongest people at that time..At that time she was weak,she have no grasp of her own destiny. Once again it is lux that saved her from despair,only at this she realized lux always keep his promise from childhood. He never changed and will always fulfill his promise.It is lux that teach him how to be strong,it is lux that teach him how to discern lie and it is lux that teach her love.Even so the reality is cruel,she was too late. She was to weak ,after their live is full of chase in the end she died.While she recalled the end of her live,mia replied to her.

"Iris,I feel you changed too. You were like different people,your attitude was cold to everyone else,including your friend."

"Friend?They were animal. Calling them human is disgrace to humanity."

"Iris,calling them animal was too much. They were your friend."

"My father just wanted to protect me and my mother,please don't say bad thing about him."

"If you know the truth,I wonder what kind of attitude you will have now."

After all that bastard in human skin only interested in revenge nothing more. He will use his wife and her daughter to achieve it.She didn't remember much about his wife. But mia?She remember it clearly,her live basically worse than prostitute,even prostitute have live better than her.When she died,her father didn't even attend funeral and focus on taking revenge on lux instead.

"The truth?"

"Ah,looks you are interested. Sis mia..How about we make a deal?"

Iris won't let this chance go,After all she knows lux ability the best...What lux needed was understanding,when he reach certain understanding he will gets new ability. For example magician is coming from his brother,or the devil's that come from his second childhood friend,both of them have ability that shown corresponding to the person he made connection on...If he can made connection with both of us..2 ability will be awakened. 2 of them was on verge of awakened..Her ability was able to do so. Still even with second life and second ability ,she was still afraid,after all Lux itself lost at the end.That's why Iris making deal with her.

"A deal?"

"I will tell you the truth in exchange,stay together with us."

"What do you mean?"

"Once the sun rise,I will wake Lux up and we will leave this place together. This place isn't safe for us."

Well she only returned to her own country.Her only purpose was only for academic purpose to begin with. When she return she planned to cut all of her ties with the main family at the same she will make cover engagement ceremony and shut any plan that her family prepared.Thought if lux don't reject it ,she don't mind getting engaged with him.The question is  will her fake sister follow them or not?If possible Iris wants her to follow them.After all lux care her that much and based on her previous experience she protected lux twice in her live which is enough to be trusted.Still she is clearly hesitating and it wasn't good enough,then her phones ring and she answered the call. After the call..she then started crying,but she quicly wiped her tear and said.

"I accept."

Iris didn't replied but only asked her a question.

"Dna check?"

"Yes."

"How is the result?"

"Negative,me with lux and me with my parents."

Iris was shocked,she never expected that his own sister wasn't even her real daughter.Even so Iris noticed that She was dissapointed in something else.Well it doesn't matter she thought. 

On other hand mia sister was dissapointed in her parent. She never expect that her mother injury was staged and use her as bait for lux suffering.Still what pained her the most was to locate lux...She didn't know what her father wants..but she noticed from his tone. It obviosly not going to be a good thing..Deep in her heart she still believe in her mother and father.But when she know her mother sickness was staged ,she understand that's she was being used as pawn. A mere tool,that's what pained her the most...but now she understand. She still has her little brother,a little brother that always care for her.

"I won't give up my little brother. This time I will protect him."

She made resolution and she then begin to listen to iris without question. To her ,Iris can be trusted and it doesn't matter how she find the truth.What important is ,that she learned this 'side' truth.

Lux's PoV

I opened my eyes,and found the sun already rise. It is already morning huh?Iris and my sister must be worried..Sight. I am pathetic,I then opened my door and at the same time something explode. It's from the kitchen.I hurry over to the kitchen and notice my sister was angry at Iris.

"How you make an explosion from meat?just what did you do?"

"MY bad ."

Iris make >.<  Expression ,I smiling bitterly and then approach them.Still I am glad,that I can be together with them even if it was a fake.
