The bear chasing them have brown fur and they were running toward me,just before they crash againts me ,they suddenly jump to the side and I saw the bear was kept running. I take out the knife that I looting just before and throw one of them toward the bears eye. The bears immediately halted because of pain,at the same I move toward him,pulled back the knife and stab his other eye then jumped back.The bear then attack randomly ,I throw the knife again but toward his neck this time. It penetrates his neck but stop in the middle and the bear still moving his claw at random because He didn't understand what is happening. I then want to move over and push the knife deeper,but Iris was already move toward the bear while dodging all it's claw and then sever the bear's head from it's body.The bear than fallen to the floor with it's head rolling on the floor,the bear body fallen on the floor.Then Iris smiled toward me.

"Was that good enough?"

"You were an Idiot."

There was no need of reason for her to show off by cutting the bear head.She should just proceed  from behind andd stab throught the bear hearts. There is no reason for her to going upfront and cut the bear head. If she stab the bear's head,it's fine but sever his head?That's just a waste of energy and Risky. Sense something wrong..Iris cowered a bit. But before reprimanding her,I I need to deal with those people first. As I come over the guy with lightest wound immediately come over.

"Please help me!!I would pay you!! I would pay you how much you want please buy me a potion!!!"

My eyes sweep across them and found there was 2 male student and 1 female student. The other guy who didn't ask for help have big wound and it's must come from the bear claw,It's already good enough for him to  hold the pain yet he able to carry the girl on his back.He is good person .While the girl have bandage around her stomach,it was red. Red as blood.I could see faint bite mark from it,but it's not from bear and it's from other creature.Both of them would died soon if they leave as they was right now. The other male student on other hand only have some light wound in fact you could say he was perfectly fine.But his attitude by far was the worst...since he kept groaning in pain and made it like big deal.But I turn around and then drag the bear body and hold the bear on my right head toward the vending machine.. But then the guy that carried girl came over.

"Please help her,I would give you all I had..But please help her."

He said that while begging me.But iris interject on him

"Did you know what you did unforgivable?You intend to kill lux by using the bear and then using his money to buy potion and now you were asking for help?"

"No,It wasn't my fault. I was just dragged by them. It was him who planned everything!!!"

The guy then begin to told everything how it was the other guy's fault that his girlfriend get hurt.How it was the other guy's plan and etc. I was too lazy to listen to this kind of shit,and continued doing my own business. Iris who listen to this only close her eyes and sighed,but then she look toward me and put confused face...

"Where is the bear corpse?"

I ignored her ,since It's better for less people to knew about it. Then I noticed some gold coins around the coin chute,and there was a 12 of them. It was a lot,then I use 6 of them and soon the vending machine dispense 3  small plastic bottle. I then throw one of them toward the most annoying guy.The guy immediately started to drink it. Nothing happened after 5 minutes.

Then I throw another 2 bottle toward the one that need the most,but unlike the first guy.But unlike the first guy,I seen their wounds closing and the color returned to girl face.Seen that,the guy who carried her immediately bow to me..

"Thank you!!!Thank you for helping us!!!"

I didn't replied instead ,I observed the guy that annoyed me and see his face gradually lost color and vomitting on the ground. His body also become paralyzed  and he was begin to foaming.This symptom ,it was similar to puffer  fish poison...Well It's usable for sure,including the potion of intermediate grade. The potion work slowly but it's good enough. I would buy one ,2 poison bottle and 1 set of throwing knife.This should be enough.

"Let's go."

"Okay."

But just as I took the first step on the upstair,The guy that paralyzed open his mouth..

"I would remember this!!!I would kill you!!!"

..Rest area already regained some of it's function huh?Well what a waste of knife...I throw a knife toward him and it went throught his head and killed him on the spot,his body then become a small particle and the throwing knife fell on the floor and resounded throught the whole room. It's sharper then throwing knife I used before,I guess the weaponry here was much better than real world. Then I notice some gold coins remaining at the place where the annoying guy's corpse.I immediately move over and pick it up together with the throwing knife.

"Please be careful."

It was a girl voice,It was different voice than iris and come from my side. The girl who passed out before already opened her eyes,but her breath was still rought,looks like the potion couldn't even completely cure her.But she probably fine since the rest area regained it's function.The girl then said..

I hate these kind of girl who suck of the young master just because they were given money,but before I could finish my sentence Iris cut into our talk.

"If I were not wrong,you were Lisa right?You were his fiance."

.........Does it matter now?I look toward iris,but iris only give sign to leave it to her.I would leave negotation to you.Then the girl replied.

"Yes,But it's better to say I am just his toy that bought over to his family,beside me he have many girl that fawning upon his money."

"You were Sold  by your own family as assurance ,it's common."

"Even thought I didn't want admit,but the reality was as you said. To my family I am just their chestpiece."

So many drama,But as Iris read my thought,She then said.

"I see,but then let me get to the point. Tell me why you go back to this floor."

...15 minutes later.

"Hell?Not really... it was just forest."

I arrived at thick forest,and this forest was based on forest behind our mountain.There was 2 bear or so,but it wasn't that dangerous. Because It was not something that I couldn't kill. I Thought that as I kill another bear. The blood would attract bear,but it was necessary.We need as many gold as we could,If I am not wrong..This forest was only beginning...

"That makes total 5,This should be enough right ?"

"It's enough,cut over the bear head like I supposed to told you."

"Understood."

Iris gone quiet,since I reprimand her about her idiotic movement,but pretty much didn't care. That's why I didn't reprimand her for long. But after seeing me killing the bear,her movement also change. She now pretty much killed the bear without hesitation.

"Nee,Lux kun.Where did you learn how to kill the bear?"

"There was no need for me to answer that..Let's go back."

"Tell me. Please tell me lux,It worried me."

"??I didn't tell you,because you already knew the answer.Now Let's go back. We need to save time best as possible."

"Yes."

Iris then closed her eyes and then  followed after me.This should net me 50 gold,which was barely enough for Food and water.The one who made the vending machine sure knows the market price. It was expensive,but there was no other choice..for now we need  to go back and buy food then continur to explore the floor.

On our way back,Iris asked me question.

"When was the last time you slept?"

"5 days ago,what is the matter?"

"Nothing."

After that we returned to rest area and found there was some people returned ,but most of them were injured and shivering in fear. Some of them even entered meaningless conflict,but  I coldly passed them.Iris ,on otherhand looks distressed and bit her lips.But she said nothing...We then arrived at vending machine  and I put the bears head throught the trash bin and soon 50 gold coin appeared at coin chute,I then use 20 gold to buy lunchbox and bottle of water ,then spend 10 gold for potion bottle and such.I then hand over remaining 20 gold toward Iris and said.

"Use it whatever you like."

"..Yes!"

Iris smile bloomed and then run over and begin to buy everything she wanted. Most of them consisted recovery potion but there was weapon as well.I say nothing and proceed to the corner and then further read the book. To be honest I was surprised of the information contained in the book,I never realized why it was so cheap. Still what surprised me the most the vending machine part and rest area.

First ,As I had done. By putting in enemy dead body throught trashbin beside vending machine you would earned some gold depending the part value.In this book thought explain that the most valued part was head and the rest were so cheap that you could ignore it. But there was limit for same head and when that limit reached,the price would go down. The limit was 10 for a person.That means I only have 4 heads left that could be claimed at full price.

Second ,Rest area. Once rest area entered by the enemy that designed then the rest area would lost it safe function permanently,recovery function was weakened by 50% for 4 hours and if the vending machine was broke then the Rest area would lost all of its function permanently.There was more info about it,but for now the only thing that could be seen directly was  this two...If only I have phone with me right now.As I wondered about it Iris came back with smile on her face.As long she was fine with it ,I guess it was fine. Morale was important after all.

"Sorry,It took so long."

"It's fine I didn't mind it."

I didn't spare her a glance,but continue to looking for more information.Then Iris  asked me..

"You didn't eat it?The lunch box ?"

"It was for you,to begin with I didn't need it. The reason I want to buy 2 was because I know you wouldn't eat it if I didn't."

"Don't worry,even thought I am a girl. I am stronger than your average girl that's why please ea-."

Her stomach was growling and cut her in the middle of her sentence.I know her since she was kid,she was the hungriest among 3 of us but also the kindest among 3 of us.Well to begin with... beside me and 'Her'  ,Iris was the most normal one.Back to reality...

"I already eat before coming to this place,that's why just eat it."

It was the truth,I indeed eat before coming to here. So there was no way she know about the real meaning.Iris didn't say anything and only proceed eating silently.But then she stop eating middleway and instead pass it over back to me.

"I know you only eat once a day at morning. You must be hold back your hunger,that's why I left some for you...Please eat it."

So she already researched that far huh,but I know the best she was still hungry.Unlike me,she was normal and she need food to maintain her current condition.She should understand it,yet her kindness blinds her.This is bad.

"I didn't need it,you should finish the lunchbox by yourself. I know you were holding back for my sake,but that was stupid. Unlike you I was already getting used with hunger since I was 8 years old and I could maintain my concetration as usual. But you?You were just normal girl and you neve-"

"Eat it.If you think by giving my food increasing our chance of survival then you should know it wasn't the best choice."

"..."

Why sometimes this girl was smart and sometimes she was stupid?She messed my plan again...

"You planned to raise my survival chance as high as you could.Didn't you lux."

"Forget it,It was my mistake to think you would be obedient girl and do as I told."

I then eat the rest remaining but as I eat the rest of lunch box,I notice no one come here to  rob the lunch box or anything similar. Instead they dodge my eyes and didn't dare to see me eye to eye. I wonder what Iris do to make them this obedient?Well,it was not important for now. First I need to recover my stamina as much I could and then clear this dungeon.
