After that we decided to go buy some food in the military cafetaria then go back to testing area. Iris's father then brough to private room where no one can spy about us. In there we eat foods without no worry.Still,A trouble pops one after one.Sight...Somehow my luck turned to be worse since I arrive on this country.I though that as I put my bread on my mouth and swallow it.

"What's with the long face lux?Is the bread not suit to your taste?"

Iris's mother said that as she looks concerned,This is the first time after I returned for Iris's mother is concerned about me.

"Of course not."

"Then why you swallow it instead of chewing it?"

"Ah,Sorry.It's looks disgusting wasn't it?"

It's the habit that I keep since usually I don't have time to eat my own food or the taste was unbreable force me to swallow the food.It's not like I great at cooking either,I took me many years just to cook decent food for me to eat.This time it was my sister who replied.

"No it's not,It's bad habit and no good for you body. after all you suffe-."

"Malnutrition,I know.Even though I am like this I still learn some medical knowledge."

In fact I can do basic surgery if needed . After all the knowledge underworld is more advanced than the world we live in,beside money doesn't work in underworld. What matter there is power and loyalty. Since I have power ,they usually hire me as mercenary in exchange for their knowledge about their profession.Because I am not a genius ,I usually don't have time to chew and just swallow the food,sometimes I even eat raw so I can use that time to learn more.It's thanks to the fool  ability  able to survive after all.

Damn,I don't want it,I turn around iris for help. But iris itself already on her 6th bread  and munch it with delight without any care in the world. No wonder she didn't comment anything,she is still glutton.Iris's mother secretly pinched Iris then sighed while mumbling.

"Sight,Sometimes I want to strangle my own daughter."

"?What did I do wrong?"

"Nothing."

??Her manner is good,but why her mother is angry?I mean isn't it small portion?After all...I look toward 2 guys who eat  pile of mountain beside me like they never eat before.

"Lux...What's with the little food. here you should eat more."

Iris's father said as he passed me some bread,while Iris's brother is saying with his mouth full .He then pass me bread and continue eating in his own pace. Sometimes I wonder how much their food cost each year.After 15 minutes of lecture from my sister,I finished my own bread. Then Iris's who finally finished her meal said to me.

"Lux,I heard you learn some medical knowledge didn't you?"

"Yes,To some extend."

"Then can you cure my brother?"

"Hmm?"

What is she talking about?Isn't her brother is perfectly fine?But for the first time I see Iris's brother jin face become grim,even Iris's mother looks unhappy. But iris's father then said with unhappiness in his face.

"Iris's don't joke around."

"Father,I never joke regarding about my own family.I believe lux able to do it."

Iris's father glance at me,his eyes give me signal to stop iris's from saying anything more.I give a glance on Brother's jin and only observe him carefully notice there was scar around his wrist. It's pretty deep...I then look toward Iris's and asked her.

"Is it about his wrist?"

"Yes,Can you do it lux?"

Iris asked me uncertainty,on other hand my sister is woried and said.

"It's fine lux,there was no need to answer yes if you can't."

But I replied to them different from what they expected.

"Sure."

I agree without hesitation. It's pretty easy to treat him,at the same time I also want to pay them back. Since they treated me nicely and protect me,I have no reason not to help them.Iris's family was so shocked and their eyes was nearly popped out. But my sister is worried about it.

"Lux!!!"

"Sister,I know my limit."

"That's not it...just who will believe a 16 years old kid can't cure paralyzed wrist."

I take out bottle keychain and then revert back to normal. I then transform into a glass bottle with red liquid inside.But before I can explain it,iris's eyes turn red and snatch it immediately.Everyone was surprised on iris,even me was shocked. She glare at me with resentment and said.

"Lux,This is your blood right?"

"..."

Damn it why she knows everything!!Hear this everyone face changed,but my sister also angry at me.

"Lux,that's aroudn 2-3 liters blood inside there wasn't it?"

"Yes,What's wrong with that."

"Lux you-."

My sister was in panic but iris become serious with killing intent in her eyes.She already pulls out her sword and pointed sword at my neck.The room temperature become cold,It's so cold that I nearly pulled my weapon in reflex.Iris then asked me with a killing intent directed on me.

"Do you want to die ?"

"...Of course not."

"Then why you do this?Do you realized you can't die because of this."

"I know."

"Then why?Answer me!!!!!"

"You won't understand it anyway.there is no meaning-."

There is no meaning to tell you about it,after all you don't know this is my lifeline to survive in underworld.In underworld where the was everlasting war the importance of doctor and mecide was higher than anything. That's why to survive I have no other choices but to sold my own blood and disguised it as elixir for my own safety.Even though I disguised as Elixir,but in fact it have better effect then the elixir itself and many people willing to pay for it,beside I was used to it to loss some blood...But that I can't open my word to say another word..because there was sadness in Iris eyes,soon she sheathe her sword and grab both of my hand.

"As you said,I don't understand a thing ,but there is meaning for me to know about it."

She released my hands ,her eyes tells me she have her own reason. But there is sense of warm and kindness from her eyes toward me.This girl...even thought I said forget about it.

"Maybe you forgive for betraying you,but I can't forgive myself.That's why I want to help you."

"I see, I forgot you are this kind of girl."

Self-blaming huh,even though it wasn't her fault. Still It indeed everyone was like that and treated me nicer than normal. Even so,It won't change no matter what I said. Looks I need to full recovery my body first then take action from there...Sight. What a pain.

"Forget it,since you don't want it I will find another way."

"Sorry ,Lux."

Iris apologized to me.Though I will keep it for last resort if it's needed.Since they wants me to make me re-learn about my own humanity I can only accept it.After all we live in city,not in jungle. Still...Creating a medicine for his brother is easy,but I lack necessary equipment and material.Shall I visit underworld later?No,even in underworld it's hard to find one.There is official way,but it's impossible for me to get it.I don't have doctor license and it's forbidden by law for normal doctor to possess it which make it hard to get.While I was thinking,Suddenly brother jin interjected..

"Lux,I appriacate your concern.But I believe it's fine to give it up."

"...Something doesn't make sense.Even though your wrist is said paralyzed but I believe the treatment wasn't that rare. Spit it out,what were you hiding?"

"That's..."

Brother jin can't tell it either.I turn around and look toward iris's parent and they shook their head and means they don't want to tell me anything.I then turned to Iris and she only replied.

"It's about our family."

Hearing Iris's answer I only sighed and said.

"Need my help Iris?"

"No need,Now it's not the time."

"Just you know,if you take it too long I will solved it by myself."

I said it honestly,Iris's family can only look down as they know I am serious. But Iris replied in their stead.

"If I failed,then please do.A family that only consist killing each other are not family at all."

"I see.Survival's of the fittest.."

It's rare for me to see it ,maybe because underworld have certain kind of relationship where they work together to survive. Even if they have enmity they will hold it in for their 'family' or 'clan' . After all quantity still strength.Quality is important ,but they must be balanced. Only by balance both quality and quantity a 'family' can hold higher position after all. Though it's normal for this world like that. Unlike underworld where there is danger every second,this world is pretty much peaceful. That's why they will kill each other for their own greed ,create best option for themself while throwing others to a pit. I believe the 'here' have worse quality than the 'family' in underworld. Considering the 'family' in underworld keep their difference aside for their family and survival,the 'family' here fight among themselves to have better live.Not to mention battle tactic and such,I think I understand why no one can destroy the underworld.The difference of priority and experience. One of them have survival as their priority while the other one is happiness. I hate this kind of relationship since you can be backstabbed anytime.

"Since it was like that,I will try to secure the medicine needed to cure you brother's wrist." 

As I said that,I then walk toward the door and said to everyone.

"I will go buy some drink,Just contact me if you need anything."

"Ah,let me go wi-."

I left them alone,then I go to nearby vending machine and buy a can of coffee. Then I go to the park while drinking it and mutterly said.

"Bitter."

I said as drink the coffee,I drink it to remind myself that I was no different . 

"Even though I said that,I am no different than them.I can't even cut off grace who is not even my family."

I am talk big,but in the end I am no different from them.I empty the coffee can and throw it to the emty trashbin beside vending machine and then said to myself.

"I am to naive."

"No !!Big brother isn't naive at all!!"

I immediately turn around and saw graces is hiding behind the trees.Her bad habit still isn't gone huh. Whenever she did mistake she always peeking behind the trees.

"Big brother."

"..How long you are going to hiding ,Graces. You are not child anymore."

"No,after all big brother hates me."

"Yes,You still knows me very well."

"Big brother lux,will you listen to me?I I,I have reason..."

"I have no interest in listening whatever reason you have,What I know is..You break our promise."

I stand up from bench and buy another drink instead. I buy the drink the cheapest drink that somehow survived  all this year. Even though the drink is nothing special. While I drink this somehow grace talk to me.

"Big brother,that drink?You still drink it?"

"It's a habit."

She was the first one who make me drink it in the first place. At that time it was a present from me for her birthday since I was poor at that time. She liked it and share half with me. I disliked it at first,but somehow I gradually liked it and drink it times from times since It's cheap and good to relieve some stress.

"...Big brother..I am sorry.But I don't have other choice."

"...."

I didn't reply instead only drink while sitting on the bench listening. Since It's better to solve past conflict even though I hate her.

"After all big brother live is threatened."

"Grace,That isn't important. What important is..You leave me alone at that time.You never know the result of action didn't you?"

"BIg broth-."

"Don't call me that anymore."

Hear that graces bit her lips and her eyes become teary. But I mercilessly replied.

"I don't -"

Just before I can't say it,I suddenly feel running pain through my body. Again???Grace notice something is wrong with me immediately approach me.

"I will call ambulance,that's why please hang on!!!"

This pain..It's worse than any kind of pain I suffer before.Gradually I gradually lost my own consciousness and everything went dark. Just what happen to my body?That was my last though before I passed out.
