White woke up from his slumber as he was welcomed by the warm rays of morning light.
The chirping of birds and the screams of roosters enveloped the ears of White Alyan, who was now stretching as he slowly walked to look out the window and breathe in the fresh air that permeated the surroundings.
For some reason, the young man felt heavy and disturbed, as if he had just woken up from a very long and bad dream.
A dream that he can't seem to remember but he feels like it was some kind of nightmare.
He brushed those feelings off and proceeded to descend to their living room, where he was welcomed with the love and warmth of his beloved family.
Having a happy morning meal with smiles painted on their faces.
"I wish we could spend each moment like this together, content and in affection for one another." White blurted out his thoughts.
As she continued to chew food, Zia said, "What do you mean? Aren't we always like this?"
His mother asked, looking worried. "Your sister is right, Kuya. Could it be that you had a nightmare?"
Seeing their worried gazes, he answered, "It's not like that, Ma." He was about to explain what he meant but stopped himself. 'Maybe it's just me being paranoid or something,' White thought.
"Nevermind. Now let's enjoy the meal. I take it that we will depart later, right?" White skillfully dodged the question and encouraged them to eat their food faster.
His father says, "Gosh, you're an excited little fella," and after hearing this, the family giggles and proceeds to finish the food on the table.
Subsequently, the otherwise bright sky abruptly became cloudy, with dense fog enveloping the entirety of the sky.
" Hm? "
White sensed the sudden changes and looked outside.
And all of a sudden, a bizarre occurrence occurred.
A fissure that appeared to be a gateway opened, and creatures emerged.
" ...Pa?...Ma??? "
White's voice trembled as he slumped into their front door after witnessing this strange event.
Upon noticing him, the two creatures that emerged from that fissure headed straight for their house.
His father shouted with both hands tightly gripped around the bolo. "Kuya! Get in here! Hurry!"
White immediately runs inside and ducks towards the corner where his sister was trembling and terrified because of the situation they were in.
Their parents proceeded to protect them from the incoming monster that wanted to decimate them.
Terrified by the situation they are in right now, the siblings closed their eyes.
But after hearing some unusual sound, they opened both of their eyes slowly, and they were greeted by a terrifying situation and scenario unfolding right in front of them.
The blood-dripping, stabbed stomachs of their parents and monsters behind them holding their necks welcomed their sight.
The faces of the monsters that were snickering as they bit their parent's necks were too horrifying to look at.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
White screamed at the top of his lungs as he tried to reach his parents in front of him, but suddenly opened his eyes and was greeted by the sight of his sister, who was shaking him hard while her gaze was full of worries at him.
Zia also shouted from the top of her lungs,"Kuyaaaa!!!!! WAKE UPPPPP!!!!!!!!"
It almost deafened White, who had just woken up from his nightmare slumber. " Arrrghh!! Shhhhii... " and almost cursed but stopped midway.
Zia worriedly asked, "Kuya, are you alright? You were shouting there moments ago, and now see how perspiration is permeating your body!"
White's gaze peered at her, checking if she was really concerned or just maliciously pranking him again. After confirming that she was really just worried, he dismissed his thoughts about her screaming in his ears.
White's expression softened and reassured her. "...I'm fine. I just had a nightmare. No worries."

Her mood was gloomy, and she was tearing up while sitting down. " I'm glad to hear that...I thought that something had happened to you.. "
"Hai Hai... I'm fine now, see?" White softly reassures and then softly pats her head and asks, "How many hours remain till the break ends?"
"5 minutes." She answered while holding the hand of his older brother, who was still patting her head.
" Since that is the case, let's start preparing. "
White instructed them to upgrade their armor to Rare class and extra potions.
Ashley, who was leaning on the Salakot circle, curiously asked," Wait, shouldn't we upgrade our weapons? And why buy potions? Don't we still have it?"
" Though they exceeded my predicted strength for them, the ones we use right now are still alright; we just need more protection and backups in case. " White answered.
" Also, the more potion, the better. We weren't able to utilize them earlier because we were caught off guard. " he added.
Ashley gave him a doubtful glance but still obeyed his instructions. " Alright... "
" Alright...This should suffice... I guess? " White seems satisfied after buying several varieties and spare weapons for emergency situations since he still has some spare points.
' Also this skill is really useful in some situations, especially in aerial battles. '

White was nodding after checking everything and deeming that their preparations were complete.
Zia was skeptical as to why her brother was doing something that would normally look ridiculous, especially since it was a waste of points, but she repressed herself from asking.
" Pst. Get ready."
White called out to his sister who was swinging her rapier in the air for some reason.

From the distance, the Monster's Gate reopened and peculiar creatures emerged.
The silhouette of the two creatures that can be faintly seen was seemingly shrouded with thin, brown hair on their back, and the color of their skin was almost pitch black.
It strangely has the combined features of a hornless goat, with very large ears, almost long as the whole arm, with a tail that looks like a whip, came out within the void.
It was weirdly walking in a backward manner as it emits strange black smoke around it.
[ (Level 21): Sigbin ]
According to Myths, The Sigbin or Sigben is a creature in Philippine mythology said to come out at night to suck the blood of victims from their shadows.
It is said to walk backward with its head lowered between its hind legs, and to have the ability to become invisible to other creatures, especially humans.
It resembles a hornless goat but has very large ears which it can clap like a pair of hands and a long, flexible tail that can be used as a whip.
The Sigbin is said to emit a nauseating odor.
" Ewww... What kind of smell is that? So rotten!" Zia exclaimed in disgust while immediately pinching her nose after the monster was fully out of the monster's gate.
"It appears to be a kangaroo, but why do they have large ears atop a goat's head? What the fuck?" Ashley says, cursing the creature's appearance, and was stunned by the horrible monster that was in front of them.
Although Ashley knows about this type of appearance of Sigbin, it is not the most commonly known.
Also in the myths, this type of appearance of the Sigbin is much more powerful than its commonly known counterpart.
" Well... This is Hell indeed... " White retreated his right foot in preparation for any impending attacks, and an anxious smile surfaced on his face.
" At least there's only three compared to before. *cough* " Zia spoke those words while appearing to use her rapier as a fan in front of her to lessen or eliminate the unpleasant odor she was now going through.
Ashley looks at Zia with a skeptical stare after seeing her actions.
The strange smoke emitted by the Sigbin suddenly burst out like a thick fog around the two creatures.
The trio then tightly gripped their weapons as they waited for the attack that they predicted would emerge.
Unexpectedly, instead of attacks, what came out of the thick, black fog was a much more unwanted surprise than they imagined.
There were six more Sigbins added to the scene.
"What a crooked system! Your jokes aren't funny, you know!" White shouted his complaint to the System from the top of his lungs because of the ridiculous situation it put towards them, again.
As though White's cry towards the system served as a signal, the Sigbins in the center sprinted at him right away, giving him little room to maneuver.
' Ohh...Fuc— '
Before he could form words on his thoughts, White was immediately slammed toward the iron fence that was circling the Salakot.
" UmmpPhhUghh... "
Luckily, he was able to partially block the unanticipated blow by moving away and placing both hands in front of him as protection. Even yet, he is unable to avoid the pain the blow causes.
White unintentionally sat on the corner of the Salakot Arch, and the iron fence bent and almost broke.
" Haha... Fuck. "
*Phutuh*
White then spits the blood to the floor that was on his mouth and immediately gets up then casts [ Minor Heal ] on himself.
" So that's how you wanna do it. All right. My turn! "
He then immediately rushed to Sigbin who made that surprise attack towards him.
On the other hand, Zia was extremely overwhelmed by the numerous Sigbins that were attacking her from side to side and then instantly disappeared as their blows occurred.
She can't take the ambushes of the Sigbins anymore and lashes out.
" Show yourselves, you cowards! "
Zia cries out in frustration and casts [ Ice Blast ], a new skill she acquired earlier, and it's an Area of Effect (AoE) type of skill that will freeze enemies within a certain area for a few seconds.
Although it is not completely visible, the figures of three Sigbin coated with ice flakes can be seen, and its tail is now getting ready to commence its next attack.
" So that's your main attack. Well then, I'll chop off those long tails of yours! "
She then swung her Rapier rapidly and sliced the long tail of the Sigbin on her left side that was closest to her. The cut was so clean that it's as if Zia sliced an ice block like it was just butter.
( SkeeeiiiiKKKkkkk!! )
After the Sigbin recovered from its frozen state, it cried in anguish because of the pain it felt after losing its tails, its main attacking method.
" Now, it's my turn!" Zia declared menacingly.
