[ Endless Wave ]

[ Endless Wave ]

White's eyes lit up after witnessing the reward he had gotten.

[ •Skill Obtained: Heal• ]

[ •Description: Heals 10 percent equal to the maximum Health Points• ]

[ •Target : Single target• ]

[ • Æ consumption: 20 per cast • ]

[ •Cooldown: 1 minute• ]

' Jackpot! ' he exclaimed.

Even if the Æ consumption is quite high and the healing percentage is low, it's still useful since right now, he only has one skill, which is [ Stab ] that uses 5 ÆP per cast, and the [ Heal ] skill will be quite helpful for keeping their health in control.

After he checked the reward he got, the new function that appeared in his status window caught the young man's attention.

[ •Team Creation• ]

[ •Description: Used to form a team with your close aid(s). While at it, all experience acquired will be shared with everyone on the team at a 50% rate.• ]

"Neat, this should come in handy." White mumbled.

"ia, come here."

White tapped his sister, who seemed pleased with what she saw in her Status Window.

"Team? aren't we a team already?"

Zia stared at him, as if she could not understand what he was saying.

White immediately tries to explain what he meant.

"What I mean is that we should use the Team function, which has just been added to the System Window."

"According to its description, it will extremely help us in monitoring each other's status, regardless of where we are on the field."

He tried to summarize his explanation as much as he could.

"Ahhh... I see... This one?"

Zia then waved her palms in front of her brother, then pointing to the [Team Creation] labeled 'New' on her Status Window.

"Yep." White nodded.

"Then invite me! It's even better that you are the Team Leader."

Hearing his sister's response, he immediately invited him to his [ Team ].

Thanks to [ Team Creation ], she can be certain that at all times she requires assistance, regardless of whether she cannot provide an explicit hint, her elder brother will come to rescue her no matter what.

"Since the [ Team Creation ] has been added, may I ask if I can also join your team?" Ash asked sincerely with an expectant expression.

White glanced at his sister and oh boy, her expression doesn't look quite pleased.

"Errm..Let me have a talk with my sister for a sec." He responded to Ash while grabbing his sister's hand and pulling her toward his side so they could have a thorough discussion.

"His proposal wasn't bad. He was also ranked 3rd on the leaderboards. Don't be mad, okay?" White calmly persuades his sister.

"We don't know him. What if he's a bad person? We don't know what he might do when we show any signs of weakness while he's around!" Zia grumbles and also tries to persuade him to not take the teen to their team.

"I don't feel like he's a bad person. He doesn't look like he has any ulterior motives. Don't worry, trust me on this one." White tries to assure her while placing his hand on Zia's head.

"I'll treat you with anything you want after this."

He executed the ultimate technique to get Zia to agree: entice her with the 'I will treat you with everything you wish' pass.

"Really? No backsies okay?! "

Her eyes gleamed brightly as she heard this, and she eventually decided to accept Ash join their team.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.

White then walks towards Ash, and after telling Ash that he's now good to join them, he then adds him to their team.

At first, he was concerned that including Ash on their team could turn out to be a danger since they might see their [ Class ], However, after he identified that Zia's [ Class ] wasn't displayed in the [ Team Window ], his concerns vanished. He agreed without hesitation, encouraging his sister to add Ash to their squad.

With that being said, with the [ Team ] function, White can now monitor their status, especially his sister's HP and ÆP which is very helpful and crucial since he now possesses a healing skill.

'I wonder what kind of reward they received...' he was curious but decided not to ask them.

White's head was filled with inquiries as he examined the Tutorial Shop.

There are a bunch of things that can be bought at the shop.

Items include HP and ÆP potions, both common and rare weapons, and also abilities that cost a significant amount of points to purchase.

"I'll just buy some HP and ÆP potions for now since these are the necessary items for our survival."

With 9 points in hand, White bought 3 common HP and ÆP Potions and told Zia and Ash to do the same.

Zia then proceeds to ask

"Why only three? Why not spend all of these points for more potions?"

"It's better to save up for now and fight as efficiently as we can." White answered. He then stretched his limbs and added "Think of it as training like we did last time and gaining more experience."

"Alright. Noted."

'We also need to get 'that' particular skill before the Tutorial ends.'

A warm smile could be seen on Ashley's face as he remembered some good memories after seeing the interactions between the siblings.

[ Second Wave Starts! ]

The second wave began similarly and was monster-type, but their level was higher and the total number was double that of the previous wave.

They also started moving to confront and eliminate the wave of monsters approaching upon them, as well as the Aether Crystal in the heart of The Salakot.

The trio also then rushed to their desired area and started to massacre the monsters around it.

The fifth wave has just concluded, and the number of Warriors standing in the area is obviously waning.

Grave expressions and an oppressive mood can be sensed in the eyes of those who are living, and panic pervades the surroundings.

"Fuck this life! Why the hell is this happening? This ain't a tutorial nor a video game, this is Hell! We are being tormented and our lord has rejected us!"

The rest of the Warriors began shouting and wailing, and their screams resonated around the field.

No one can blame them.

They were just living as normal civilians before and now, they're suddenly fighting with their lives on the line.

They did not ask to be hurled into the bowels of hell on this planet, where their nightmares became reality, and it continuously pursued and demanded their demise.

The system also did not inform them that the numbers of creatures would steadily rise with each wave.

The only thing they were informed was that the creatures will become tougher with each wave.

What happened is that in every wave, more and more monsters are added, and because of this, the Warriors are overwhelmed by the hoard of monsters that are being released each time.

Warriors can initially hold their ground against the new monsters in the first couple waves since they're leveling up from defeating them and ingesting potions purchased from the shop to heal while in combat.

However, when wave 3 arrives, they begin to feel overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of creatures.

Defending the Aether Crystal and eliminating a seemingly unending stream of monsters worn out everyone, costing them a number of their own, and shattered their spirits and confidence to the ground.

"Looks like this is the end of it... huh..."

A guy murmured in a coarse tone and with a distressed expression as he grasped his wife's corpse, which had been cold-dead and mutilated after being encircled by demons on this wave.

•[ Congratulations on clearing the fifth wave. Everyone will be given the opportunity to leave and finish the tutorial from here onwards. ]•

"Finally! I can get out of this damned hell!"

A Warrior sitting near the Aether Crystal shouted.

The other Warriors reacted in a chain like a domino to this statement and they unanimously agreed to end their tutorial from here on out.

"Are you coming with us?" Ashley inquired as he looked towards White.

"I think...we will stay here." White answered as he pats his sister's head.

"Are you sure?" He questioned them again as he was concerned about the siblings being in this dangerous situation.

" If that's my brother's decision, then we will follow through. I believe in his judgments and decisions. " Zia replied while laying on her brother's lap.

Ashley was contemplating on what to do. Should he prioritize his safety or trust his gut?

Seeing as the siblings did not think twice about their decision, Ashley made his final decision.

"Phew. It can't be helped. Then I'll accompany both of you here." Ash, whose body looks like in rags, told this as he stood up from his sitting position.

White didn't expect Ashley to stay.

He was certain that Ashley would bid his farewell and pursue his own survival because it appeared that he had things to consider first and wanted to stay alive.

"I didn't expect you to stay with us in this hell. Hahaha!" White laughed wholeheartedly.

Zia sits up and says "For goodness sake, are you sure about this, Ash?"

While Ashley was doing his stretches, he answered "Of course. Why wouldn't i?" and showed the brightest smile you could ever see in a person.

Zia giggled and proceeded to scroll through the status window, seemingly checking on something.

White stood up and urged Zia to do the same.

He then gestured to them to put their hands above his and said, "There's no turning back from this; let's do our best and survive! "

Zia says, "Through thick and thin," then puts her hand above White's. Ashley adds, "Whatever mess am I in," Then giggles as he also puts his now above Zia's.

"We'll stay united and trust one another." White then glanced at both of them.

"Yes!"
