Chaos descended on the world as they knew it.
A phenomenon that cannot be described or comprehended through basic human terms.
Even with the most cutting-edge scientific equipment and discoveries, the world will remain unable to depict or estimate the present situation, and this unbelievable and unexplainable occurrence is currently taking place right in front of their eyes.
White Alyan, who had been lying on the ground and shivering excessively due to panic, suddenly remembered the news he had seen on TV about the prediction that would occur at the end of this year.
'S-so... that prediction was true!?'
The young man is gradually losing himself, and his mental state is becoming increasingly jumbled as the chaos around him worsens.
White can't still believe and comprehend what's happening around him and is in a state of panic. "T-This isn't real..Right??" His words rattled as his voice quivered. "This must be a nightmare..RIGHT!?"
From the voided-like passageway in the broken night sky, a giant monster then emerges, even when the chaos hasn't subsided. Its physique is something freaky, like a horse's head in a human body.
It then slowly descended near White and his family's whereabouts.
When the enigmatic monster finally fell, it let out an insufferable scream, causing an immense as well as disseminating shockwave.
Almost all of the structures and properties within 1km had been swept up and shattered like delicate glass, while the people surrounding them had been dispersed in all directions due to the shockwave that was unleashed.
The Alyan family was no exception.
White was swept away, like paper fluttering in the wind's breeze. As his body was quivering in the air, almost folded, the giant monster then again roared, which led to White's body propelling even more while in mid-air.
Luckily, he was flung directly in a big tree, abundant with branches.
It became his cushion, absorbing the impact of the shockwave he received.
Although, he still can't escape the experience after falling to the ground from that tree.
*Thud*
Ears ring, havoc rises. Chaos spreads as the monsters rave.
White's weakened body lays flat on the ground before the mayhem spreads across the globe.
Human race is on the brink of extinction, yet humanity has no solution to such misfortune.
His senses gradually recovers, from the soreness he is yet to recover from.
His ears collected humanity's cries, from the agony the world bestowed.
His eyes glimpsed cruelty, the monsters spread to its prey.
Buildings collapse like sandcastles, fires spread and smolder, and monsters feast on the people they grasp as the scene in his sight is like the world is becoming hell itself.
The nightmare scene that can only be read or seen in apocalyptic fantasy novels, anime, and movies is now unfolding in front of him.
"Augh.A..Aa....AAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" White screams as he is being consumed by pain and fear.
With all that said, a cry from another direction woke his lapsing mind.
Even though the young man's whole body was heavily shaking after falling from the tree and witnessing the current situation, he still did his best overcoming this predicament and hurriedly left his current location.
Regardless of what he was currently enduring, White's greatest worry was his family's well-being, which is why he peeked at each path he passed while moving away from the turmoil.
In the middle of his stride, the young man noticed his sister fleeing away from the dwarf-like creature, who was following the girl, holding a branch full of spikes in its right hand.
"Aya?" White subtly muttered, taken aback by the situation that was occurring in his vision.
As Zia was desperately crying for help, hoping that someone would be able to hear her, a concrete chunk from a nearby structure suddenly came crashing down atop her.
Fortunately, Zia noticed the falling concrete shortly after and avoided getting hit in the head, but her legs ended up crushed instead since she was unable to reposition her body completely.
As he witnessed the situation that was unfolding in front of him,White instinctively screamed "Nooooooooooo!!! " and a sense of hopelessness then overwhelmed him.
He attempted to head towards Zia to help her, but his legs continued to tremble, making him feel trapped exactly where he was. This made him increasingly panicked, combined with a succession of weird incidents that have unexpectedly taken place since this year's start.
But as he witnessed his sister on the brink of death, the young man's thoughts and emotions, which were before filled with dread and anxiety, turned to rage and loathing towards the vile beast.
Still keeping his rationality, White rapidly examined his surroundings, saying, "C'mon! Anything!" as he squinted his eyes, trying to catch even a glimpse of anything that he could use as a weapon. Fortunately, he saw a tree limb just close to where he stood.
While his legs still trembled, he didn't hesitate to just roll his body towards the branch, take it up, and mustered his courage.
He knew he had no more time to waste, so White immediately stabbed his leg using the branch in his hands.
"aAgghh...AAAAAAaaaaarrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! " is the only thing that came out of his mouth.

He can't help but scream from the pain he inflicted towards himself.
Fortunately, due to his action, his legs ceased trembling, and he immediately dashed towards the monster, who was now ready to slaughter his sole sister.
Blinded by his rage and fear of losing his only sister, White immediately swung the branch towards the monster and screamed, "Get the hell away from my Sisterrrrrrr!!!". The monster's head was still focused on her, who was now lying down on the ground, unconscious.
The monster did not spot White right away but was frightened by the coming branch in his sight.
The power of the hit caused the monster to stumble from his stance.
*Thud*
After the monster fell to the ground, White immediately stomped on its small limbs while tightly holding the branch in his hand.
"WRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" He yelled wildly as well as repeatedly stabbed the creature in the face.
Blood.
As White continued to stab this demon-like monster, a lot of blood splashed and adhered to his face and clothes. Even with this, he didn't stop until its skull was completely destroyed.
*Drip* *drip*
When his trance returned, he immediately wiped the blood that splattered on his cheek and slowly walked towards his sister, who was lying on the road and unconscious.
Letting go of the branch he was holding, White slowly removed the concrete that hit and surrounded Zia's leg, slowly lifting her head and placing two fingers on her wrist, neck, and near her nose to check her pulse and breathing.
"Thank goodness..." White said. He heaved a sigh of relief and began to calm down after confirming that Zia is still alive. "Her injuries also do not appear to be life-threatening. I'm glad I arrived just on time."
After ascertaining that she was still breathing and had merely lost consciousness, White began slowly lifting Zia behind his back when suddenly a bizarre floating panel appeared in front of him, stating
•[ ??? who came from his motherland. Your heroics reflect your bravery, and because of this, you will be given the qualification to be blessed with the opportunity to destroy the evil creatures that invade your world.]•
He came to a halt, perplexed by what he saw. "Dafucq?" White confusedly said.
Although he wants to meticulously look into whatever the information contained has been and what the strange flying panel states, White's primary goal is to lead them away from the mess they are in and away from the demonic monsters that have invaded their homeland.

(Grooowwwwwwwrrrrrrrlllllll....)
Secretly and carefully, he moved from house to house so that they would not be seen, heard, or followed by the mysterious creatures while he went in a specific path.
"Huff... Aghh...." A young guy with a lady on his back can be seen pacing slowly towards a cottage that appears to be located in the area, which one may mistake for a forest due to the abundance of trees around it.
"Shhpppt..Hupt!" White was clutching on to the door of a little cabin, panting from fatigue and writhing his injured thigh.
"I find it hard to imagine ever returning to this area in such a state." he murmured as he opened the door.
After entering the cottage, he headed directly to the mattress and carefully laid Zia down.
"Huff.." he sighed in relief. Without much delay, his gaze scanned the cottage, as if searching for something.
"As far as my memory can recall, there used to be a first-aid kit here. Is that within the cabinet?"
He said and hastily searched inside the drawers for the indicated first-aid kit.
As soon as he saw it, he pulled off his clothing and grabbed the basin on the side of the door before exiting the cottage.
Even though he was exhausted from the ordeal and in agony from his seriously injured leg, White Alyan refused to relax until he could utilize the 'Poso' (water pump) to fetch water.
Water is going to be used for cleaning the cuts and bruises on Zia's ankles and legs.
He sweatily pumped the Poso until he had the precise amount of water he required.
He tore his clothes in half, washed the garments in water, and used it to clean his sister's injuries and wounds.
Then he used the first aid kit on the wounded portion of the leg, which is now wrapped in a ripped fabric to control the bleeding, after which he did exactly the same to himself.
"Phew." White breathed a sigh of relief and sat down next to the bed after doing all this.
His gaze slowly turned to the window of the hut as he rested, calmed himself, collected his scattered thoughts, and assessed everything that had happened.
Ripping sky, mysterious creatures that came out of it, people dying and being eaten brutally, collapsing houses and buildings, and so on.
In the back of his mind, White was still in denial and thought that these happenings were just a thing from his nightmares.
Even if the aforementioned events are absurd, he has no other option but to accept and embrace their new reality.
Amidst all of this,Their parents had crossed his anxious mind.
"I wonder where Mom and Dad are right now." his gaze shifted toward his sister, who's now sleeping soundly like a little baby. "I hope they're safe and sound. " White then prayed fervently.
After praying, he returned his focus to whatever had been hovering over him.
"Now, what's with this floating thing that has been in front of me since earlier?"
After carefully observing this mysterious floating panel, White noticed that it was similar to the U.I. (user interface) of the games that he played.
Bathed in curiosity, he tried to press the mysterious floating panel.
•[Do you wish to proceed with the affinity test to determine your aptitude and awakening?]•
His eyes widened, clearly impressed and shocked by the response of the panel. White mumbled, "Sheesh, I guess I'm the main character now, huh?" as he chuckled.
Driven by his gaming instinct, he thoroughly analyzed and searched for any hidden buttons or Easter eggs that this panel might offer, but he found nothing.
Feeling dejected, White tapped the [•Yes•] button without delay.
Then, the abrupt, powerful surge of light that dazzled his eyes surprised him, and at that moment, he suddenly felt like his soul was being dragged into another dimension.
"Ahhhhhgg-"
After a short while, the blinding light slowly disappeared and what replaced his vision was the beautiful and starry sky in space.
"Wow.... " White couldn't find the appropriate phrases to articulate the magnificence of the cosmos he just observed.
'Is this...real?' White thought. It was the first time he had ever seen something as gorgeous as the spectacle unfolding before him. 'I'd have no problem staying here for a bit longer.'

"Pusang gala." White suddenly blurted out as this notification woke him up from his dazed state. He felt annoyed that he got disturbed.
[ • Start! • ]
White felt a strange sensation right away, as if his body were being gently and persistently torn apart.
A number of white lasers can also be seen cutting up various areas of White's physique in every direction.
To be more specific, it was White's soul.
A soul that is of such purity that it just has one hue, white. (Pun intended.)
His soul, which used to take the form of a human being, is now dispersed like a little white wisp of flames.
'Aa.A..AAAarrg.....hhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!- ' He is now being assailed by powerful sensations that no words could express.
'Ahhgggh... N-noo...I can't die here... yet-' He attempts to divert his attention away from the agony and the unexplainable sensation he is experiencing right now.
'Aggh....Aaa...ghhhhhhhhh-' Even with this level of extreme pain, he still resisted and maintained his will, so that he could live.
Despite the fact that the situation he was in was life-or-death, he fought hard not to be overcome by a dominating sensation of anguish and stayed conscious at all times, but alas, his inexperienced will could not withstand the otherworldly pain.
For White, it feels like an eternity. But in reality, the process of this 'affinity test' he experienced only took 10 seconds.
The scattered, little wisps of souls gradually formed and reverted to human form.
Just a minute after the test, his awareness gradually returned.
"Ugh..Holy! Argh.." He was about to curse when a throbbing pain interrupted him.
"I feel like I was forced through a large shredding machine, then resurrected and died repeatedly!" His then shaken soul swayed as he put his wisping hands to his head.
Before he could spew out another sentence full of curses, a floating panel then popped up in front of him.
[ Congratulations, White Alyan! Because of the qualities you possess, you're granted the rare opportunity of inheriting the title of Hero!• ]
White's brow raised as he stared intently at the panel that resembled a character window.
His facial expression betrayed his anger towards the pain from earlier after seeing the word that was inscribed below his name.
"Hero....? "
