Allen and Jason's first steps

Allen and Jason's first steps

Light returned, a sun had appeared to my right. Confused I looked around seeing that a panel with a galaxy swirling in the middle of it was waiting for me to look at.

*Welcome new god. Please speak “status” into the air or in your mind to bring the system panel up*

Looking at the panel I thought “status”

Name: Jason

Title: New God

Rank: Absolute

Race: True God

Background: Human

True Time: Iteration 35,428,945,154: Day 1 Month 1 Year 1 (Next iteration: 500 Days)

Universe Time: Day 1 Month 0 Year 0 Century 0

Aether Reserve: 1,000,000 (Click for details)

Aether income: 0 (Click for details)

Body: 10 (Click for details)

Mind: 10 (Click for details)

Spirit: 10 (Click for details)

Soul: 10 (Click for details)

Creation: 0 (Click for details)

Destruction: 0 (Click for details)

Companion: 1 (Click for details)

As Jason looked at his status, he clicked aether reserve seeing that it was at one million.

*This is your current total aether, you can modify and create with this resource. Be careful though, if you run out you die. *

“Well shit, that doesn’t sound fun” Wondering what it would be like to die because he used to much aether. He then clicked on Body.

*Your current total attribute for body is 10, If you hit a rock, you would hurt your hand*

“Hmmm, that doesn’t sound strong. Though I guess I have only just received this but come on man I was pretty strong” he said looking at the panel before him.

*No, you were not. You were like a noodle* Sounding out in his mind like a gong

“The fuck was that” Jason spoke aloud, looking confused.

*Me you damn fool, your new companion. I am what you would call an AI, I’m artificial and intelligent. Can’t say the same for you though*

“That was uncalled for, anyway what are you? And why are you in my head.”

*I am what you want to call me, I’m here to help you learn and help create as you clearly don’t have the imagination for it*

“What can I create?"

*What ever you want. I will let you know now that intent matters, for example. You want to create a world but at the time you are thinking of a fire, it will be just a magma world. Not good for inhabitants. Please think, Creation status*

As Jason thought “Creation status” a new window appeared before him.

Please note that this panel will only work for 10 iterations before you have to use aether and your mind.

Templates – Names represent concepts.

Basic: World with basic attributes and ores. (500,000 Aether)

Abnormal: World with strange properties, portals, dungeons and randomly spawning monsters. (500,000 Aether)

Natural - Magic: World with basic magical attributes, monsters with magical properties, dungeons with magical drops, plant life with mostly magical properties and Ores with mostly magical properties. (750,000 Aether)

Chaotic - Magic: You currently do not have permission to view this Tier 1 Concept

Create your own: Unique things are better after all. (900,000 Aether)

*I would recommend creating your own, you don’t have permission to know yet but its better in the long run*

Reading the details Jason pondered “If that’s the case why not just give me only the *create your own* option?”

*Because the system likes to give un-creative people like you, ideas*

“Fine, then you damn artificial incompetent” Chuckling internally Jason selected Create your own.

*Time for me to help you out, please think of the world you would like, we can do the finer details later*

“Could we go with an earth style planet back when the dinosaurs ruled?”

*Told you, uncreative. But yes, we can. Now think of 4 different races, do you want me to give you a couple ideas for that*

“That’s alright, I want High Humans, High Dwarf’s, High Elves, and Dragons”

*You could just think Humans, dwarf’s and Elves. They will be magical anyway. Also, Dragons? Really*

“Humanoid dragons, but yes.” Jason said with a smile. Thinking back to the power dragons have in D&D and stories.

*Welp Okay then, not like I can tell you no*

Four images appeared before him. The first was a human with average features. Second was a human with pointy ears. Third was a small creature that looked like a human but was only 4’8 looking like a muscle instead of a person. Fourth was a humanoid, with horns coming from its head, shaped like antlers and a tail that swayed left and right, and black void looking wings that stayed tucked into its back.

*Honestly the dragon is going to hate you, imagine giving it a tail for balance when it’s the same hight as a 6 foot human and wings? You realise its going to take aether to even try and fly, you didn’t even think of a bird bone structure. You are lucky you picked create your own, otherwise this dragonoid would fold to the floor like a chair*

“Its fine right? As long as it can do what a human can do or better. I want them to be the goal for the three other races, like humans want to fly so they will grow wings, elves see the magic so they want to grow in that respect and dwarfs see the gold that dragons accumulate so they wish to mine and gather ores.”

*Turns out you do have imagination, but for the most part that’s up to the creatures, you can influence them but I would only recommend making them recognise you as a god, otherwise you could end up making them run to a volcano and poof, they all die*

“Well, that’s ominous but okay, what’s next?”

*Magic system, as you picked elves and dragons, I’m assuming you want a good one*

“Yeah, I’m wanting a book based magic system with intent magic. All creatures are born with a book in their soul. Each can cultivate by meditating on their book. All talent for magic is equal other than the dragonoid race starting a good bit further ahead. All the books have spells that are created as they grow, and they can imprint the spells onto objects depending on their class.”

*That works, but it has flaws. Ill iron them out for you so it doesn’t cause an explosion every time someone wants to start cultivating*

*Next is world system, like the one you have. The system will help all entities be they tools, items, creatures, monsters or your races*

“Could I get a video game one, that links to the magic we will have. For example, every entity starts at level 0, when they complete a task be that killing a fellow being, eating food, cooking etc, they will get experience.”

*Yeah, that works, however everything will have an exp limit. Don’t want everyone becoming a demi-god in the first year*

*Now that that’s sorted, I’m going to give you the Ranking tiers, notice that you have absolute as yours*

Looking to the status panel he had summoned earlier Jason started re-reading

Name: Jason

Title: New God

Rank: Absolute

Aether Reserve: 100,000 (Click for details) 900,000 Currently reserved

“Yeah, and what does absolute mean?”

*Can’t tell you that yet, same as the requirements they are currently locked*

“Okay, but then what are the ranks?”

*First is Common, stone, most flora and fauna. Second is Semi-Common, this is most ore, most sentient creatures and monsters. Third is uncommon, most tools will be this rank unless they are infused with more aether or are used with your book magic. Fourth is rare, mithril, adamantine you get the gist. Fifth is Unknown/Unique, if you create something, like the world you are creating right now, it will be classed as unique. Sentient creatures won’t be able to get unique unless they create something one of a kind.

“Okay that sort of makes sense, do I have any control over this?”

*No, this is linked to the true system, so don’t start thinking you can create an absolute rank item any time soon*

“Okay so we have world, sentient beings, magic, and system. What else?”

*That’s it for the most part, do you want any customisation in the ore department? Or anything else? Plus we need to decide on celestial bodies, moon or moons and the like*

“Could we make it so dungeons spawn and monsters spawn in them? With the Dragonoid’s being the owners of them?”

*Yes, however they won’t be able to get exp from the creatures inside the dungeon, they will however get exp from death of others when inside the dungeon*

“That’s fine, also could you make it so that we have a room on a moon that we can view the planet from?”

*Sure, but if I may ask, why? I understand wanting a room somewhere but the moon?*

“That’s for later, now chop chop I want a moon base. Also, you name is going to be Allen or AL for short.”

Allen sighed as Jason spoke aloud the words.

With a smirk being imprinted into Jason’s mind Allen started speaking again. *Okay, the world will start being created now, get ready for the pain*

“Pain? What pa” Jasons words were cut off as an immense pain took hold, lights started to spiral out of him at a super sonic speed, the lights slowly combined into a celestial body, a golden glow emanated from the newly forming planet. The lights started to expand slowly but surely.

*Asteroids incoming* Allen spoke into Jason’s mind.

Explosions sounded out as colossal asteroids pelted the sphere that was beginning to form, each asteroid contained random elements, some ice, some iron. The list was endless. Thousands upon thousands of the asteroids were flying past as Jason started to feel the pain dull.
