Before returning to the real world from his time-loop Yuta decided to spend a few days relaxing to calm down his mind and remember his life before the time-loop, as he probably spent more time in this time-loop than all the time combined before it.
The memory of him going on missions or him having both hands now seems vague and distant to Yuta, and to get back on tracks he has to remember all the things happening back then.
After this was done and Yuta managed to set his mind in the right place, he traveled back in time to the point when it’s about 31 days before his encounter with Tatsuko, as he wants to be able to time-travel again by that time if he needs to, and his soul energy will be regenerated in 30 days.
After time travel Yuta appeared at the training grounds at noon and immediately started to suppress his chakra, so no one will notice his unnaturally large chakra amount. His chakra amount is almost on the level of mid-Jonin now, even more than Itachi currently has, and he has a lot for his age.
Yuta looked at his right hand that is once more on it’s supposed place and it felt weird for Yuta to have it back, he is so used to having only left hand now that it almost felt wrong to him.
Yuta went straight home, activated concealment seal to prevent any spying jutsus to see what he is doing, created four shadow clones, one of them he sent to buy more fuinjutsu supplies, two others started to inscribe new seals, and the last one starts to inscribe a complicated seal on Yuta’s back with his chakra instead of brush and ink.
Yuta learned a lot about fuinjutsu in the time-loop and designed a couple of seals of his own, one of those seals is now being inscribed on his back by his shadow clone. This particular seal was designed by Yuta to make him almost undetectable, it creates a dynamic and almost untraceable barrier around his body when activated, and this barrier will bend the light to make Yuta invisible, it also muffles the sounds, erase scent, prevents the body heat from being detected, and hides the chakra from being detected as well.
This particular seal was the product of analyzing the Hiding with Camouflage jutsu, tons of fuinjutsu theory, implementing dozens of seals to work together and a lot of trial and error and three whole years of hard work using shadow clones.
But even after that this seal isn’t perfect, there are a lot of flaws in it. It’s while working on this seal that Yuta realized one simple truth of this world – there is no perfect jutsu, all jutsu in this world have flaws. It’s almost as if this is the law of physics for this world or something like that.
For example, Yuta will still be detected with dojutsu, sensory barriers, and simply by sensory jutsu that is based on physical touch like techniques that utilize a vibration through the ground surface. Also, he will still leave tracks of his movement, the seal will muffle the sounds of his movement and steps, even if he steps on a twig or something, but the tracks will stay.
But even with all of those flaws Yuta was proud for developing such a seal.
The second seal that his shadow clone inscribed on his chest is chakra concealment seal that will mask Yuta’s chakra amount and shows as if he has chakra amount comparable to mid-Chunin level. Yuta can do so with his chakra concealment technique, but it requires concentrating on maintaining it, but he doesn’t have such problems with a seal.
After that Yuta went to the training grounds to continue his physical training as he used to do before, while his shadow clones continued to inscribe seals, such as improved versions of concealment, explosive, chakra drain barrier seals and chakra suppression seal tags.
While training Yuta finds out that now he is more used to do everything with left hand as a main hand, noticing that he starts to train to use his right hand more, after some time he noticed that he is now using both hands equally well as if he became ambidextrous.
Yuta thought how he should go with his new increased skills, should he hide his skills or should he legalize it for being able to show them openly. After thinking about it for some time Yuta decided to gradually show more skills as time passes and ask Koichi over time for all the jutsus he already learned from him, so no one will have questions about where he learned it later.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
But he will not show his full strength anytime soon, gradually revealing it over time, so he can avoid unnecessary attention.
A few days later Yuta went on a boring insignificant mission with his team to hunt down a giant wild boar and Koichi briefed them on a mission, then he looked at Yuta and said, “You look a bit different than usual, is something happened?”
“No, I’m fine sensei” Yuta calmly replied.
‘Is he spotted something?’ Yuta thought, ‘It is possible that he can spot my new seals, maybe even see through the chakra concealment but that is unlikely, at least until he doesn’t try to do so intentionally, knowing that something is wrong. It’s more likely that it’s just that my demeanor changed after who knows how many years in the time-loop and Koichi noticed it, but this is fine.’
Almost a month and a few boring uneventful missions later Yuta met with his team and as the last time, they went to Hokage Tower and got the mission of bandit extermination. After that, the same as the last time they went south-east in the direction of the Land of Noodles to exterminate bandits, where Yuta will fight Tatsuko one more time.
The mission went the same way as Yuta remembers, Koichi once again ordered the formation eleven and the team scattered.
Yuta runs in the same way as he previously did, and soon he sensed the pursuit of Tatsuko after him. But this time Yuta wasn’t nervous even a little bit. Years spent in the time-loop made him more mature and mentally resilient, now instead of being nervous and complain in his mind, he thinks about his enemy, the moves she can make, best ways to counter them and the moves he should take against her.
This time Yuta doesn’t want to use a trap to deal with Tatsuko, he wants a good fight, and he wants to gain combat experience that he desperately needs.
He also wants to test many things he mastered and developed in the actual fight to see how much stronger he actually became.
Yuta remembered that the last time Tatsuko’s chakra was twice as much as his, but now the roles are reversed completely, now Yuta sensed that his chakra is twice as much as Tatsuko’s.
That is not all, Yuta being chased previously was slower and unable to run away from Tatsuko, but now that he has a lot more chakra, just by having it it’s boosted his physical strength and speed and now he estimates that he is probably not slower than Tatsuko right now.
‘Well then, I have a plan for this fight, and I will be testing all my skills against Tatsuko one by one, I’m so excited right now!’
Yuta stopped running and waited for Tatsuko to show up. For his first move he decided to use the most complicated and hard to pull off trick with genjutsu, he estimates that Tatsuko will break out of it easily and Yuta will continue the fight with ninjutsu.
Tatsuko appears in the distance, she looks the same as Yuta remembers, tall blond long hair woman with bondages over her face, wearing simple gray clothes with a mesh armor underneath.
She spotted Yuta and slowed down, holding her long katana-like sword on her shoulder.
“Hey, you are just a kid! And I was so excited to kill some shinobi here but it’s just you here, little sh*t” She exclaimed mockingly, but her eyes observed Yuta intently, showing that she is on guard.
‘Hmm, she looks different, last time she was completely off-guard, or maybe last time I didn’t notice this detail in her look… Well, last time I acted afraid, but now I’m confident, maybe she senses it and keeps her guard instinctively…’
Yuta didn’t reply to Tatsuko, observing her movements. And despite that there is no fuinjutsu trap set beforehand this time, Yuta didn’t sense much threat from Tatsuko this time, he is disappointed by this fact, he was angry with her, he was traumatized by her, but now all he feels is disappointment.
Tatsuko took a few steps in Yuta’s direction.
“Hey kid, so afraid that can’t even speak?” She yelled mockingly.
“Hmm” Yuta hummed barely audible.
“What? I don’t hear you kid! Say something before I kill you!” Tatsuko exclaimed once more while taking a few more steps, coming closer to Yuta.
“Well then, just die silent I guess!” Tatsuko exclaimed last time, coming closer and now Yuta is in her sword swing reach.
Tatsuko lifted her sword into the air and swings it… And just like that, she cuts off her own head with her sword. Blood spurts everywhere, and Yuta just staring at this scene blankly, doesn’t believe in what just happened.
He planned to start the fight with his most complicated genjutsu to mess up Tatsuko’s coordination and muscle movements, as well as her senses, he thought that she will detect such a large amount of his chakra invading her chakra system and dispel it right away… But she never did…
This type of genjutsu is most chakra-expensive and requires a tight and precise control over opponent chakra system, Yuta believed that it will be his weakest and most inefficient move in this fight, as it just too easy to notice and counter, but, well…
“What a disappointment…” Yuta said regretfully while staring blankly at the Tatsuko’s dead body under his feat.
