Alright, Maya, surprisingly it looks like you naturally just take in spiritual energy probably due to the rank of your spirit beast . But in order for it to increase your strength at a more rapid pace you'll need to do some meditation. Once your body is strong enough you'll be able to hold more spiritual energy and eventually use one of your spirit beast abilities" the professor said.
Maya nodded her head.
Before he could continue he heard a voice to his far right. The professor quickly looks in the direction. The boy with the large build and short dreadlocks was looking at him smiling.
"So what's next? I'm ready to see what my new abilities can do. Darius says, punching his fist in his hand. He looks around and sees that Aria and Cyrus are still in their meditative state. "Oh am I the first one out? Nice! Darius says with a node.
The professor quickly looks at his watch to see how long it's been "It's barely been ten minutes. How is he already integrated with the spirit animal?" He thought.
"Woah Darius your eyes are scarlet red now that means you ready did integrate with the spirit animal turning it into your spirit beast. Maya said excitedly.
"Are they really! I forgot stuff like that was going to happen. Good thing my hair didn't turn blonde. That would make my locs look terrible. Darius chuckled.
Both Maya and Professor King agreed.
Currently professor King was trying not to have a visible shocked reaction on his face. " I knew out of the three of them he would have the least trouble with integration due to his background but this is frightening. It was like this spirit beast was meant solely for him. People in known Guardian families don't integrate that fast with their families spirit beast that was passed down for generations. His potential is quite unsettling. I must keep my eyes on this one." The professor thought.
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
"How long were you there on your side? It hasn't been that long out here, barely even ten mins" the professor said.
Darius wore a thinking face. " mhmm I actually don't know. We fought for about one hundred rounds and he won about 20 of them. Then he wanted to leave on a good note of him winning so we kept going until he did. So maybe 10 hours. At best.
"Oh I see that is not bad it means you have some pretty good chances at advancement in the future." Professor King said, putting on his best acting voice. "If the Monarch Heads knew oh fast this kid integrated. They'd show up to kill him personally. In the future, let's not let him go on many future missions." The professor told himself.
"I was just going to explain the proper way of mediation to Maya. Now that you're here I'll start from the beginning. Now listen closely.

Once Aria was conscious inside the crystal she was transported into a forest-like area.
"It's beautiful here. This is like the virtual reality full immersion video games that they have. But this feels 1000x more real. From the air the smell and the details." Aria spoke out loud. As she walked around and enjoyed the surroundings a loud thunderous voice came from the sky.
"In order to claim my power as your own you must understand nature and become one with nature. Survive out here for half your life and you will be worthy to wield the might of the forest." The voice trailed off and Ariawas left alone with her thoughts.
"I have to be out here for the next 16 years to appreciate nature?! Isn't that a little overkill? She questioned. "Oh we'll let's see how this goes after a week if it sucks I'll just ask to be let go.
Aria wasn't worried about being stuck in the forest sense; public schools teach students how to survive pretty much anymore on the planet since the Pestilence returned. Human survival is the number one thing taught in all human schools. So there are plenty of human colonies outside the major cities but they're not as protected as the cities of course. But they do get all of the necessary resources from the government when they request it. There were plenty of humans who decided to go out into the world and start their own colonies instead of fighting for a place in the city like most.
Aria started making her provisions and making tools from the environment around her. After securing a place to live and a body of water she set out to find herself some food. " It's a good thing that I liked playing the forest survival game at school instead of the one in space. Who would want to live in space anyways? She shrugged as she casted her fishing line within the body of water.
That night Aria slept on the ground next to a fire and had some of the best sleep she's ever had in her life. She woke up the next morning, yawning and stretching. "Now that's how you sleep! She looked around for a moment. Then she thought " I actually don't have anything that I have to do. By the way it looks like it's summer and there shouldn't be any rain but I could sleep all day if I wanted. This is kind of like a vacation. Aria smiled.
One Month later.
"Besides the non-human communication, this is kind of nice. Could I at least have some books!? She shouted within the cave jokingly.
Then like an answer from the heavens a bookshelf appeared near her makeshift bed.
Aria's face broke out into a smile. "This
won't be so bad after all" she thought.
