Just as I was going down the hallway, I kept most of my attention on Autumn. I then heard her start monologuing about what she planned to do and how much she wanted to do it, which didn't really surprise me.

*Yawn* Hm? It seems like Autumn isn't as innocent as she plays, huh? I thought she was too meek and innocent, especially for being the daughter of the progenitor vampire. If there's one thing, vampires are known for. It'd 100% be their cruelty against the ones that have wronged them, and that goes double for the progenitor.

Never mind, there it is. Was wondering why she hadn't had a magic explosion yet. I mean, she just learned how to use magic. Hehe, I remember my magic explosion. Dad was standing behind and off to the left of me. He said, and I quote, 'I'm not about to almost become a pincushion for a second time.'

Sadly, for Dad, my magic explosion ended up with me expelling 4 icicles in a prism shape, and he was right in the crossfire. Mom had to save him because he was too stunned to react. I couldn't help but laugh at Dad's dejected face when he came to his senses again. He was all mope muttering about how he can't even watch his kid's first spells because they always try to kill him.

Mom ended up sending me to cheer Dad up. (Depressed) *Sigh* I miss them. I miss the good times where we had fun and played. Hell, I even miss Mom's (not so) spartan training.

"*Inhale* *Exhale* *Slap* Get yourself together Rina! You're a big girl now! You'll be an adult in less than a month! You can't expect to be coddled all your life! You've made it this far! Don't let the past drag you down! *Sigh* Much better."(Rina)

Now, what happened when she had her explosion? Hmm, oh, it was blood icicles. *Whistle* Well, that's a carpet bomb if I've seen one.

What I saw through my perception was a carpet strip going behind her, that was about 43-44 cm across of finger-sized blood icicles that went all the way to the roof of the cell on the opposite side of the corridor. She ended up killing a guy in the other cell and one from the one she's in.

Definitely trumps my explosion by a few magnitudes. Mine just hit a wall, the ceiling, and Mom. The damage was meager at best. But, well, it really doesn't matter how strong an explosion is. (Excited) Now to my first destination!

I continued walking at a leisurely paise for another 5 minutes before I arrived at my destination—the caravan owners' cell.

*Tang*

When they heard my footsteps, they all shot toward the bars.

"Get us out of here!"(Random merchant 1)

"We didn't know! We're sorry!"(Random merchant 2)

"Please! We won't touch wolves again!"(Random tamer 1)

They started begging to go free and saying they didn't know.

(Annoyed) Hah, didn't know? Well, that's YOUR fault, not mine. Well, I'll be nice since you brought my prey to me and let you see the light of day once before you die. Plus, you're not worth my time.

*Creak*

I then opened the door and made a path of faint light leading to the door. Without a moment's hesitation, they ran for the door without seeing my face nor hearing my voice.

He then cut the connection.

He then melded into the shadows and started following the group through the door.

*Sigh* I'm so going to release all this pent-up frustration and stress on those fuckers.

I then continued my walk for another 2-3 minutes until I had reached the cell holding my prey. When I arrived, I found the same pretentious prick from the past with his blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing some light armor and had a sword on his hip.

(Annoyed) Seems like they really want to test my patience here. (Pissed) Why didn't they take away their weapons?

I then glanced over to the guy who was also in the cell with Matt. He looked like the stereotypical veteran adventurer you see in manga. Buff, tanned skin, about my current height, had a scar on his left eye, and such. He was wearing armor that seemed to be made from either a high-rock drake or a lesser earth dragon. He had a giant buster sword on his back that completed his entire look.

They were both looking at the entrance to the cell as I didn't bother to conceal my presence. The veteran guy also had a small flame a bit bigger than a candle's going. Which is impressive, considering he was wearing sealing cuffs. Though it was large enough to reach me.

*Creak*

*Creak*

I then entered the cell.

"So, you finally decided to enter, huh."(Mayson)

*Snap*

*Flash*

""Gah!""

I then made a light ball so that there was something more than a candlelight here, not that I even needed to do so, as I could see just fine. After a minute or 2, they finally moved their hands off their eyes. I could see the fear, anger, and confusion when Matt looked at me. Meanwhile, the other guy looked intrigued about why I was here.

"Hoh, what who do I owe the honor to, to meet the famous Ice Queen here of all places?"(Mayson)

"Y-"(Matt)

"*Raises eyebrow* So that title's spread already?"(Rina)

When he said that, Matt looked shocked and was about to speak when I started.

"Why, of course, it's spread. The party Frozen Fang has become famous for being a party that openly goes against the guild while still being a part of it. Your party has openly killed adventurers who stand in your path—trying to hit on you. It's also a very open secret that you guys eliminate those who get on your nerves but don't have an actual excuse for killing them.

Many rumors say not to get on your nerves and then entire the forest."(Mayson)

"*Shrug* There's no proof I ever touched anyone who entered the forest."(Rina)

That one probably came from the fucker who tried hitting on the others, and I 'dealt' with it.

"So, did the guild send you here?"(Mayson)

"Fufu, funny that you think I'd take orders from the guild. No, no, I'm... I guess you could call me the warden of this dungeon. But no, I'm here as your judge, jury, and executioner. Any who end up here means that they've broken the treaty against the wolves."(Rina)

"(Confused) The, what?"(Mayson)

"The treaty of wolves. It's a treaty between Shadewolf and the wolves of the Alefria Great Forest. In exchange for not attacking the city or people who enter the forest, they would not harm or get close to their homes, nor could they sell products with wolf parts in them. On your way here, you probably got some glares from people, right? Well, those were people who the wolves helped.

It's my job to punish those who break said treaty."(Rina)

He then had a look of realization.

"Wolf guardian."(Mayson)

"*Clap* *Clap* *Clap* Congrats, very few people know me by that title."(Rina)

"But isn't the wolf guardian just one person?"(Mayson)

"Nope, it's all four of us. We just take turns on who does it."(Rina)

"Then I assume I'm to be killed?"(Mayson)

"Hmm, I prefer not to kill high-ranked adventurers as it would be annoying."(Rina)

I then saw the joy in his eyes.

"I said I PREFER not to. I'm making a special exception just. For. You."(Rina)

I then saw the joy turn into sadness.

"Can I at least ask why the Hero is here. Last I checked, he had nothing to do with this."(Mayson)

It was then that Matt got a chance to jump into the conversation.

"You know one of the teachers?!?"(Matt)

"(Confused) Huh? You mean the Ice Queen? She's famous in the guild. And didn't you say your teachers attacked the capital? Why would they want to do such a thing?"(Mayson)
