*Snap* *crrr*
I then froze them in place while their faces were filled with despair and dread.
"Alright, now give me your hands."(Rina)
She then gave me her hands, and I started circulating my mana through her body.
"Alright, now do you feel anything?"(Rina)
"Uh, there's this cold feeling coming from your right hand and going out from your left."(Autumn)
"*Smile* *Nod* Good, that's my mana entering and exiting your body. As for why it's cold, it is because my mana is innately ice-elementally aligned."(Rina)
"Then what's my elemental alignment?"(Autumn)
"Yours is blood and ice due to you having 50% Fenrir bloodline and you being a True Vampire."(Rina)
*Nod*
I then let go of her hands.
"Now try to use that feeling as a base and try to circulate your own mana."(Rina)
"*Nod* Alright."(Autumn)
She then began to try and manipulate her mana. She was off and struggled at first, but after 10 or so minutes, she finally got a grasp on it.
*Nod* Good this level should be enough to allow her to use her blood and ice magic. Though she's only around where I was when I first started learning magic from Mom. (Depressed) *Sigh* I miss them.
"Alright, you've got an okay grasp on mana manipulation. Now, onto using said mana. First try pushing out the mana with the picture of an icicle like so."(Rina)
I then created an icicle, and then she tried to imitate me.
Not the most efficient way of using mana, but she's only a beginner, so for now, this will work as to not to confuse her.
After another 5 or so minutes, she managed to create a blood-red icicle. She looked a little depressed that it wasn't the same as mine, though.
"*Clap* *Clap* Good. Now, can you tell me why the icicle is red and not a blueish color?"(Rina)
"(Depressed) *Droop* I-I don't know."(Autumn)
I then patted her head again.
"*Smile* It's alright. I didn't expect you TO know. This is your first class on magic; not everyone is good at it and understands everything immediately. And I wouldn't expect a beginner to understand something that only people who have studied magic for a while to understand.
As for why it's red, it has to do with your affinity for blood magic. You didn't stop the blood element from mixing with the ice element, causing a blood icicle to form. Now try again, but this time, try to think of pulling back red dots of light while making the icicle."(Rina)
*Nod*
She then followed my advice, and after 6 failed attempts, she finally got it.
"*Clap* *Clap* Good job. Now try that but holding back ice blue lights instead of red lights this time."(Rina)
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
*Nod*
She then began with trying what I said, and after only 2 failed attempts, she made a ball of blood.
"*Clap* *Clap* Congrats, you just used the spell 'Blood Ball' a beginner-level blood magic. Now let's try using blood shaping. Now watch carefully."(Rina)
I then made a blood ball of my own and slowly started shaping it in front of her. After 2 minutes, I had a blood dagger in my hands.
"Alright, do you need to see it again, or do you want to try it yourself?"(Rina)
"*Nod* I'm good."(Autumn)
She then began trying to make a dagger, but her blood ball burst almost immediately. I realized what she was doing wrong and tried to correct her, but she said she wanted to figure it out herself, so I backed off. After an hour of failed attempts and her using nearly all her mana, she was on the verge of tears. On the plus side, she can now easily cast a blood ball without a problem.
"Do you want my help now?"(Rina)
*nod*
I then took a medium-grade mana potion.
"First, drink this."(Rina)
*nod*
She then drank while still looking depressed.
"*Nod* Alright, your problem is that you're trying to force it into shape. Try being gentler think of the blood like a limb. You don't force your legs to walk, do you?"(Rina)
*Shakes head*
"Then try using it like that and not brute forcing it."(Rina)
*Nod*
She then began again, and after 5 failed attempts, she got progressively better, and finally, she made a blood dagger.
"*Clap* *Clap* Good job. Now here comes the fun part. Learning how to use that dagger. Now follow me."(Rina)
*Snap*
I then made chains out of ice around the limbs of one of the guys and led Autumn over to him.
"Alright, now to make the most out of beginner-level blood magic, you first want to puncture an artery."(Rina)
I then guided her dagger over to the guy's deep artery in his left arm.
"Good n- one second."(Rina)
I then cut his vocal cords with my dagger so he couldn't scream and scare her.
"Alright, now push your dagger into his arm as hard as you can."(Rina)
She did as I said but turned her head, seemingly realizing where I told her to stab would cause a blood spray. But the spray never came, not because she missed the vein but because the dagger was absorbing the blood and growing larger and cutting deeper.
Once it cut through the other side of his arm, it stopped growing and started clotting the blood in the artery.
"*Clap* Now comes the good part. Try willing the dagger to turn into a thin stream of blood and have it enter his vein!"(Rina)
"(Nervous) W-What if I mess up again?"(Autumn)
"*Shrug* It's fine. Worst thing that could happen is you blow up his arm from the inside out. I'm confident in my ability to heal an arm."(Rina)
"(Nervous) *nod* A-All right! I'll try my best!"(Autumn)
And just like I thought, she ended up blowing up the guy's arm from the inside out. I could sympathize with him as I've also had my limbs blown up from the inside out too. The guy looked like he was in even more pain than he was when he had his blood drained from him without any numbing agent.
I then regenerated his arm, and we did the same thing again, and it blew up, but she was getting better at controlling the blood to her will. After 3 more attempts, another mana potion, and refilling this guy's blood, she finally could do it.
"*Clap* *Clap* Good job. Now this part is the hardest part and requires fine control, so for now, try to spread the blood throughout his entire arm."(Rina)
*Nod*
She did as I told her, and surprisingly, she did it on her first try, but it took her a good 5 minutes.
"*Smirk* Now try to will the blood to create tiny needles that'll puncture through the entire vascular system of his arm."(Rina)
*Nod*
(Amused) *Smirk* She seems to be enjoying tormenting her tormentors.
She then followed what I told her but ended up making the spikes too big, causing them to nearly kill him before I stepped in and took control of the spell. She repeated doing this until after her 6th try; she got them small enough.
"*Clap* *Clap* Good, now you can have free rain over them. I've got my own people to deal with."(Rina)
*Snap*
I then did the same thing I did to the first guy to the others. But just as I was about to turn and leave, I felt her tugging on my hoodie. When I looked at her, she was giving the puppy dog eyes.
Gah! My heart!
"(Depressed) *Droop* You're leaving me?"(Autumn)
"(Frantic) No, no! I-I'm not leaving! I'm just going a few cells down to deal with some people! You can just call for me, and I'll come running!"(Rina)
"(Depressed) *Droop* Alright."(Autumn)
She still looked sad about it, but she didn't stop me this time. Before I left, I made sure to leave 20 mana potions for her to use.
"Remember, if you need me, just say my name! I'll hear you!"(Rina)
*Depressed nod*
I then left her reluctantly and headed to the cell that was coincidently holding both of my prey. And also to judge the merchants and tamers who brought my prey right to me.
