The air in the atmosphere felt colder than usual. Time stood still for Adrian as he rang his wife. He swore his body was starting to feel heavier than usual, now. Was it the cold air or the fear of having his girlfriend stalk him to the club?

A familiar ringtone breaks the ice and fills up the air on the balcony. A smirk is spread across the flail figure's face as she takes her phone out and looks at who's been calling her. Anita then finally turns to face Adrian rejecting the call with a demonic grin, as if creeping in on your partner was something to be proud of. Anita parts her lips and whispers something along the lines of,
'Only if you waited a bit more...'
-
Hearing Anita's soft whisper, a frown is etched upon my face. My heart starts to beat faster and try my best to not break up with her right there. Gripping onto the railing, I yell out,
"WHAT THE HELL DOES THIS MEAN, ANITA?!
"Pipe down, Adrian. I was just checking in on you. Making sure you didn't cheat on me with some other hag. That's why people go to clubs, you know? To get wasted and get a one-night stand?", Anita replies with a smile without a care in the world.
"So,", Adrian shoves his hands in his pockets and leans onto the railing feeling a bit lightheaded from the cold," did you find me screwing someone else? Hm? Tell me, did you finally catch me in the middle of the act?!"
Anita's eyebrows perk up as she giggles, her demeanor shifting from smug to amusement as if this was all a game for her.
"You're so funny, Adrian!~.". She regains her composure and sets her gaze on the night city as a slight trail of smoke leaves her mouth. "Oh, how I wish."

Taking a long drag from her cigarette, her tone turns violent with her veins almost bulging from the side of her eyes. "I would have killed you right then and there. Along with that whore." she whispers, devoid of any remorse in her blank eyes.
The distant street lights seemed to flicker in the cold night. Calling the tension in the atmosphere tight would be an understatement, to say the least. Adrian was feeling a mix of shock, fear, and anger all at the same time.
-
Seeing her calm and cool demeanor, I know she's not lying. I've seen that face before. I knew she was just a bit crazy, but I was willing to look past it. But this? No, this just feels...psychotic. Fuck, my head is starting to hurt even more now that she's here. I start to massage the sides of my head involuntarily so that the pain smoothens.
Exhaling a deep sigh, she tilts her head to me,
"Hm. Maybe you've had too much to drink tonight."
Anita flicks her cigarette off the top and starts walking towards me.
"S-Stop...d..don't come any close!!", I yell at her with a weak voice as I back off away from her with my legs starting to feel like jello.
"You sure are a late bloomer, hm? I didn't think you'd hold on for this long. I was so quick and nimble in replacing your stupid drink after all~" Anita tilts her head and he giggles like a maniac while picking up her pace towards me. "I knew remembering your fave drink would pay off. One way or the other".
Hearing her creepy dialogue I gulp down my fear right before I stumble over myself, and find myself looking at the night sky before Anita's dark silhouette interrupts the view.
"You should be careful, babe." My eyes start to feel heavy and close on their own.
"Don't want you dying on me or anything"
-
My limbs felt like heavy dense steel, resisting any movement of my own. It's as if they were trying their best to constrain every movement of mine, seeing how I could barely move my arm. Walking without Anita dragging me out of the club was pretty much impossible. Struggling to maintain focus, I caught sight of Jay dancing in the periphery of my blurred vision. Summoning every ounce of willpower, I took a deep breath and attempted to call out to him.
"j...jaayy....", I whispered in a low-tone voice.
Anita let out a snarky laugh as she started to close the entrance.
"Don't worry, babe. I'm just picking you up. It's like...wait, what do they call it...?", Anita ponders while hauling my body out with one of my arms around her shoulders. Her face lights up as she resumes, "AH! I'm your designated driver. Let's just call it that. I'll send Jay a message through your phone when we reach home so he knows that you're safe."
The air hit me like a cold wave as we finally exit the club.
"w-what did yuuu doo too mee..?", I slur out my words, with my tongue falling out of my mouth on its own.
"Something to make to more obedient.", Anita whispers with a sigh. "Any more questions? Oh wait..", Anita brings her hand up to glance at her watch.
"You're gonna fall unconscious anytime now, so be quick!~"
"O...Obedient..?", I question her with a meek voice.
"That's right.", Anita shoots back at me as she opens the door to her car and gently lowers my head down so I don't bump myself. "Well, I love you. You know that right? I just couldn't get the image of you disobeying me and cheating on me with some random whore. That's why~"
Anita opens up the door to the driver seat, with a happy smile and leans in to tuck me in with the seatbelt. She smells nice, and her shampoo gives off a feminine lavender smell. God, I would have given her the time of her life tonight if she wasn't completely batshit crazy and it went normal. My eyes close on their own and I start to fall asleep as the cold breeze feels comforting as the car starts to pick up speed.
