My Spirit Item is Something Special?
Taking the night off from gathering

Taking the night off from gathering

"Aaaaand, that makes 25!" I think to myself, I had spent the last hour and a half searching for a mushroom called "Mastwana Mushroom." apparently it's a common mushroom found around here and is sold for 2 copper each, while yes I could have stopped at 16 mushrooms and combined it with the 18 copper I already have, I wanted a bit of insurance money incase something happened. Oh, the sun is about to set... hmm, it's been roughly 3 hours since I started... did I start late in the day or is the in-game day/night cycle shorter than on earth?

Level up!

Skill Leveled up!

Perks:

Stay full longer

----------------------------------------

As my mind was wondering about random things, this screen appeared in front of me, which made me take a step back in surpirse from the sudden display... but after taking a breathe to calm myself, I looked over the details of the screen. Oh, so the skills I gain through the ring level up as well? that's pretty interesting... although it did take a couple hours to level up just to level 2, if that's a sign for anything then it's probably going to take a full day at least to get to level three... but still, I need to look at the bright side, that means I can level up my other skills as well...

As I think this through I opened my skill list

Recovers a portion of the Users mana, Cooldown: 15 minutes (7 minutes 28 seconds remaining)

----------------------------------------

When I saw the skill name I originally thought it would do something like increase the power of magic based skills, but instead it seems to simply recover a portion of my mana, currently, that's actually better since I have a maximum flight time of roughly 15 minutes, and using the skill adds and extra 5 or so minutes to help keep looking for more mushrooms. But now that I know that these skills level up, I'm definitely going to try and raise that one as much as I can. ...The only problem now is the part that says

Inactive skills 5 of 5:

I actually found this rusty dagger lying under a tree stump next to a group of wandering goblins while I was searching for more Mastwana, and as soon I picked it up I noticed that I could get a skill from it, but I've kinda been putting it off since I don't know how that'll affect my other skills... well I'm not really attached to these skills anyways so I might as well try it out once to see what happens

Hmm? isn't on there? Does that mean I can only delete my inactive skills? That'll probably come back to bite me when I have a list of skills I actually like... for now lets remove since it's kinda useless, and I stick have plenty of rocks in my inventory to get the skill back if I want it again anyways.

Increased proficiency with stabbing attacks

----------------------------------------

Well, that's to be expected... maybe I can find another dagger or spear somewhere if I keep looking? actually it's getting pretty late, so maybe I should head back to town... In the real wolrd it's about 7 pm, so i have plenty of time to keep playing

Back in town, I headed over to the merchant guild only to see they had already closed for the night, so instead, I headed back over to the area I originally spawned and went back into the single room hollow I was given. If it wasn't highlighted I would have had no idea which one it was so I'm glad the devs marked it for me.

A part of me want's to go back out and keep searching, but the only light source I have right now is the moonlight, and even that is obscured by these massive trees, so instead I decided it would be more beneficial to stay here and practice . Why you ask? Simple, if I can level up to a point that I can actually use the sticks for more than just fire starter, then maybe I can turn it into a spear by sharpening one end, and finally, have a weapon to take on the monsters around here... the only issue is gonna be all the downtime...

Two hours and 80 sticks later, and the sun started to rise again; those 80 sticks were from me also leveling the skill, for now that was the best I could manage. The rest of the time I spent waiting for my mana to recover, I was actually scrolling through the Spirit Hero subreddit, and it seems most people had some sort of weapon, others had tools, and a very few amount of people got accessories like I did, as I only saw two others. One was a pair of glasses that acted like the skill, and the other was some sort of necklace that could put up barriers, so they are most likely going to be a tank build of some sort, but the strange thing is, they are all talking about getting skills the advertised way of taking specific actions to gain skills, while the only skills I've gotten are through my ring... does my ring stop me from getting skills the normal way?
