Toothpick Spear:
Common
Durability: 5/5
+1 ATK
A wooden spear that is small enough for small humanoids to use. Can be thrown for long-reach attacks
----------------------------------------
Well, it's better than nothing, I guess... it took me six tries before I was finally able to create a spear without the item breaking. Sure enough, I still didn't get a crafting-related skill... maybe this ring really is a bad item if I can't gather vast amounts of skills as I had planned... But no, there has to be some sort of gimmick. The devs wouldn't make an item that is worse than having no item, right? Especially if it's a game like this where you don't even get to choose what the item is... right?
Oh, the spear has the glowing dot! I wasn't expecting that!

Hmm? judging by the name, this skill will probably help with throwing-related attacks, well the description of the spear does say that the spears can be thrown, so I guess it makes sense to get a skill like this, but I really was hoping on a skill that would have made this process easier... actually, having a long distance attack as a Pixie, a.k.a, something that can fly out of melee range, could be a very useful skill... And I am definitely willing to delete that

Ah crap, I forgot it takes the spear with it, haaa; I'll just make another one later; for now, let's finally go buy that chalk! Oh yeah, I switched back to
Stolen novel; please report.
Quickly flying back to the Merchant guild, I sold the Mastwana Mushrooms and bought a piece of chalk and two fragments of thatch paper; thus, my account now only holds a measly 8 copper... It's kind of taking a good amount of effort not to turn these items into skills... well I can look at what the skills will be without actually destroying them... so maybe just a peek.

That... doesn't help, I have a very vague idea of what these skills do, but it's probably, no, definitely better to use the
And that's precisely what I did, I flew around town and marked the general locations down onto the thatch paper until the name changed to map

Map (Poor)
Common
A map of Therabelle Treetop Town can only be understood by someone who already knows their way around the area.
----------------------------------------
What do you mean Poor? I did the best of my ability! Sure, I'm no artist, but this is just as good a map as any! ...Okay, it does have a few scratches here and there where I screwed up, but come on, it's still eligible! Fiiiiiine, I'll chalk it up to being practice and my second one being the one I actually sell... the worst part is, I can't get a skill from the poorly rated map... Okay, let's focus, this time, I'll draw a quick sketch of the nearby trees as a sort of road to lead between the important hollows, that way, It will be easier to follow the map, thus making the map a higher quality!

Map (Decent)
Common
A map of Therabelle Treetop Town, A good map for someone who is new to the area
----------------------------------------
Haaa, all that work, and it's only decent? How can I waste an hour and a half slowly flying around town, only for the map to be considered decent? The only good news is that the merchant guild had bought the poor-rated map... for 3 copper... I was able to spend it on another piece of thatch paper immediately, but I don't think I want to waste any more time with this than I have to, it's nowhere near as fun as things like potion-making or owning a store and bargaining... would if I just... copied down the first map onto the thatch paper, it would take significantly less time than it did the first time...
15 minutes later, and I had a 1-1 replica of the decent map, and it is counted as a decent map itself! This will save so much time!

Eh? Two pop-ups at once? I was expecting the second one to happen sooner or later, but the first one? So here I was, thinking 15 minutes compared to an hour and a half was good, but now it's instant? Hold on, I gotta go test this.
I went back to the merchant guild, which I was only a few branches away from, and sold the copied down map, this time getting a whopping 33 copper... it kind of makes me feel like the first day I had played, thinking it would take multiple hours to get to a single silver coin kinda dumb now... Anyways, the
