Fame!.... Wealth!.... Power!....
It's funny how some people think that when you have them you become happy.
Scoffed!! I also thought the same thing, but that's all bullshit. That's some sweet lie that the world we live in makes us believe, but,.... what could we possibly do when it's an everyday norm?
I also believed the lie... I thought that was all to it and I blindly pursued it till I became a celebrity. Not just any celebrity, but a world-known star.
I had not just fame and money but influence with power as I was signed under the number one entertainment company on the continent. I had everything I wanted at my beck and call but it was only a matter of time before I realized I needed one thing to make my life fulfilled and give me true happiness.
Sighing!! I know my readers might be curious, what exactly is that one thing I needed? Smiles!! Don't worry, it's not far from what you already know.
LOVE!! That was just the thing missing in my life. I know you might start wondering... If I was a celebrity of high caliber, then wouldn't love, be easy to find?
Well, Love is easy to find but I was looking for true love which comes hard. I met different men of status in the world. I dated a few, observed some, and friend-zoned others but I never found what I was looking for.
Every man I dated saw me as a celebrity before his woman and some didn't even take me as their woman. I yearned for a man who would see me as a woman,... his woman, before a celebrity.
I was a celebrity loved by many but didn't feel loved by any, but I guess the universe has its way of showing us pity when we don't ever imagine it would.
If you've read to this point and still don't feel motivated to continue then I just want to let you know before you close the book that this is not just the regular love story you know. This love story is my journey of finding true love.

I lay on my bed lazily going through my social media page on my phone with a bright smile on my face as I read the comments and saw the numbers of love I was getting from my fans on my post.
It was just a simple post on a new movie trailer I had cast in as the leading role. Though it was an everyday feeling of excitement to see people supporting me online, I just couldn't get over it and it always brought a smile to my face.
Suddenly, my phone rang and when I saw the caller ID, I picked it holding it closer to my ear.
"Hey! Bell, Where are you?" I heard Lisa's voice over the phone. Her voice was like a shot of espresso— bright, energetic, and always ready to kick start my day.
Sorry, for the late introduction. My name is Isabella Eduardo but my friends call me Bella or Bell, anyone is acceptable. I'm twenty-five years old, turning twenty-six in about three months from now. I'm an actor, model and a celebrity but I'd just like to summarize it into one word... A star.
I was born into a Mexican family but grew up in Spain, living most of my life there before relocating to New York City to start my journey into the spotlight. I've lived in New York City for five good years and I must say those were the best years of my life.
Before I digress, let's go back to my story.

"I'm home." I gave a short reply.
"What? Don't tell me you've forgotten about the party?" Lisa almost yelled over the phone.
"Damn!!" I cursed under my breath when I heard Lisa's question. Of course, I remembered about the party but I didn't feel like going.
The theme of the party was "couples time." It was meant for couples in relationships to come hang out and have fun together and that was the more reason I didn't feel like going because I was "FREAKING SINGLE."
"No, I didn't forget. I'm just a little bit busy that's all." I lied though it was partly true.
"C'mon, you still have about an hour before the party. I know you'll be able to finish up with what you're doing and still make it on time." Lisa said and from the tone of her voice, it was filled with excitement.
'I guess I'm the only one who's not excited about the party.' I let out a slow breath, my shoulders sagging as I stared blankly at my front with my unsatisfied thoughts.
"I'll see you at the party... Bye." I said and without waiting for Lisa's reply, I ended the call.
Dropping my phone on the other side of my bed I sighed with nothing probably going on in my head. If it was when I was an upcoming star I would have called a male friend to pose as my date, but now, I was tired of something like that. I had already accepted the fact that true love was something almost impossible for a celebrity to find.
Taking in a deep breath, I got out of my bed, took my towel, and wrapped it around my chest after I had taken off my clothes.
I entered my bathroom and took a quick refreshing shower before coming out with my towel still wrapped around my chest. Opening a door in my bedroom leading to another room, I entered into my private closet.
Now, it was time to get dressed. Sitting down on the small stool in front of my long-length mirror I first arranged my hair combing it backward, I let it cascade down my back, before starting my makeup. I wasn't going for a special occasion or a red carpet so there was no need to apply much makeup and besides, I was someone who wasn't dependent on cosmetics to look beautiful.
I was nicknamed, "The Beauty Doll," because of my flawless skin and ravishing beauty that could charm both the faintest of heart and fierc est at heart. I wasn't just like some celebrities who are known only for their skills and talents but I was the kind who made heads spin at once glance.
Applying just minimal powder to lighten up my face a bit and a small touch of my favorite nude lipstick on my lips, I checked through my many wardrobes and selected a short black gown and fitting black heels to compliment my dress.
The gown hugged my curves in all the right places, showcasing my toned physique. It was a daring thigh-high slit that added a touch of sass to my overall elegance. Delicate straps adorned my shoulders, and a subtle sweetheart neckline framed my face. A statement silver necklace glimmered around my neck, and a pair of matching earrings and bracelets adorned my ears and wrist, adding a touch of glamour to my overall ensemble.
Looking at my reflection in the mirror, a satisfied smile played on my lips. Taking my purse and phone, I left my room.
Walking down the grand staircase, I got to my living room and just as if my driver was waiting patiently for me, I saw him standing by the door holding it wide open with the car keys in his hand.
Without saying a word, we used the door and headed towards my jeep car. Entering into the car, I sat in the back seat comfortably while Raul sat in the driver's seat.
"Where are we going to?" I heard Raul's question.
Raul has been my driver for more than three years and I had asked him to stop calling me boss because it sounded weird to me. I preferred him calling me by my name but instead of that, he said he preferred omitting my name if he couldn't call me boss. Well, we're both okay with it so that's an old topic.
"A&D's club"
That was the place the party was being hosted. The club was a property of The A&D's company and it was the biggest and most popular club in the country. Hosting the party there would mean the host was someone who could afford a billion dollars in a minute with ease.
As we drove through the city, I just couldn't help but feel the nut in my stomach tightening. I felt uneasy within me but I tried to push the feeling out the window yet it still stuck with me like glue. And just when I was about giving up to order Raul to turn back. I heard him say "We're here." and I knew it was too late for me.
Realizing we had already reached the arena, I took a deep breath trying to calm my nerves. "You can take the car and go. I'll call you when the party is over." I said, opened the door, and got down slowly.
Just as I had expected, this party was not for the single. I just stood as I watched people going into the hall in set of two and the sight made me even less motivated to go in. Suddenly I heard Lisa's voice calling my name and I turned to the direction of her voice.
Lisa wasn't alone just as I knew she wouldn't be. She was with six other people that I knew so well— Amelia, Sonia, Ethan, Henry, Alan and Gabriel
Putting on a sweet smile to mask my uneasiness, I waited for them to get to me.
"Hey, baby girl! I'm glad you could make it." Sonia said and gave me a quick hug but then my gaze fell on Gabriel standing quietly.
"I didn't know you would be here," I said with slight irritation in my voice and he replied.
"I missed you."
