Soon after David was already somewhat irritated, he decided that to de-stress, he would try to buy the skill he wanted so badly.
After opening his status, going to the Shop, then entering Powers, and finally being able to search for what he wanted, he could finally select telekinesis

Telekinesis[100 points]

allow the manipulation of middle and small non animated objects
[Description]: Telekinesis is the first thing that develops in a Psion's path, with a low cost of use, and is also commonly seen as an ability with infinite potential.

"Well... sure, 100 points, it's cheap, but is it really worth it? I don't even know if I have any point limit or something like that, and this seems to go beyond 'magic' into something completely different."
"But screw it, telekinesis seems cool, stylish, and the idea of being able to attack with weapons from a distance seems too perfect. Not only that, but this ability could bring me various other functionalities that I can't even imagine right now because I don't understand how grand this ability is."
"Or it could be garbage."
"Okay, in the end, it doesn't matter, it's just my first skill, or POWER, as the system calls it..."
After selecting the skill, David quickly saw his 100 points disappearing. It was a bit sad, but he didn't dwell on it for long and could easily recover these points.
When he finally bought it, and the skill was added to his status, something changed in him. In an instant, he was normal, and in the next, his head felt like it was going to explode.
Various pieces of information entered his consciousness, and it seemed like it was even being altered to be able to use his new power.
Probably after more than a minute, David finally realized that the strange pain had passed, and he stood up again.
"My goodness, that was intense... so that's why they don't call them Skills but Powers? How ridiculous. Why did God create it this way?"
"But that was strange, it felt like my brain, which doesn't exist, was being manipulated to do everything I learned."
"And what an interesting ability. Of course, it basically boils down to holding things in the air without using hands... but that's very interesting."
David quickly began to gather the knowledge, even muscle memory and practical skills he gained from that purchase in his bid, and he was quickly starting to feel proficient. It wasn't slow, and that was simply fantastic.
David was combining the ease of damage of a warrior with the range of a mage; that alone was enough.
And as they themselves said, the mana consumption was almost none. Spells probably had a much higher cost.
Maybe this was because it was a Psion ability and not necessarily "Mage," but David didn't care about these labels right now. The only thing that really mattered was having some useful power.
After that, he finally decided that he would buy some more attribute points, actually hoping to spend all the rest of his points on attributes.
Initially, he was spending five on Mind and five on Mana, but unexpectedly, the point cost jumped from 2 to 4, and after that, he was able to buy another 8 points in Mind and 7 in Mana, still leaving 35 points saved for maybe an emergency. In the end, his status was like this:

After that, David resumed walking as before but now testing his new ability. It was just as useful as David had initially thought, even though he was using a large and inefficient spear. If he used a small, bullet-sized, but very sturdy piece of metal, it might bring devastating effects.
Finally, after killing a good number of these zombies again, David began to notice that his surroundings were slowly changing from an endless repetition of bricks to the emergence of cracks, and finally, he saw only rocks around him.
None of this was natural, and different from what he believed, he hadn't gone deeper into the dungeon, which would have been better for him at this point. Instead, he had just found the dungeon's exit.
For him, this was strange because, unlike what he expected, this dungeon was not surrounded by a society or even a settlement. It seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, and when he finally left that place and could breathe fresh air, which he was somehow capable of doing, he felt content about it.
But he also knew that he was still extremely weak. Would it be the best idea to leave this place that had been perfect for his evolution so far? No, definitely not.
However, David was already extremely tired of his day, and seeing that he could find a quiet place to rest, maybe even test his hypothesis of being able to sleep, David decided he would come back when the sky was brightening. Being dressed entirely in black helped a lot in a typical disguise, and after using all his strength to climb one of the largest trees he found nearby, he finally decided to try to sleep a little in that place and also try not to fall. This was a very important aspect of this night.
After resting for a while, David found that even though he still needed to sleep, it wasn't really necessary. The grand sun, which for some reason appeared completely white here, hadn't moved much.
Of course, David didn't know what the planet was like, its size, or where it was in its solar system, but because of its extremely common flora, it was natural to think that the planet's orbit in relation to its sun was as similar as possible, perhaps even with an identical schedule.
After feeling a bit more energized, David simply started singing one of the many songs that had originated from a song he had heard when he was alive. Its lyrics had been so absurdly altered by his memory over the past century that if one of his friends heard him, they would only think he was crazy or something similar.
However, when he was finally ready to go back to the dungeon, David saw something that made him extremely curious.
It wasn't exactly close, but he could clearly see some kind of gigantic missile that seemed to be trying to break free from the planet's gravity.
"Is that a spaceship? A rocket? I'm in an advanced world... but with magic? And where people wear medieval fantasy clothes?"
David was a bit confused about all this, but he wasn't sure about anything, as soon after he saw that rocket, it quickly distanced itself from David's view, disappearing completely in an instant into the massive, dense clouds that covered the entire sky.
After thinking about it for a while, David finally understood how little he knew about anything he was doing there. He didn't know what to expect from the system, why he needed to get stronger, or, as he realized now, what the society was like outside those massive walls.
Of course, when he reincarnated, it was natural to think of some generic fantasy world, but something like a space opera? That was a bit too much for David.
"No problem. I've had so much time with nothing to do, and now it seems like every hour I live, I can only discover more and more possibilities."
David quickly became disappointed with his appearance. If he were human, he could much more easily get involved in space missions, join a guild, become an adventurer, maybe even join a nation's army.
The idea of being something like a magical soldier had always fascinated him, and from what he saw, even though it was possible now, it didn't seem like he would have the chance to do so in the near future.
"At least I have my system, losers."
"These are questions for the future... which for me is infinite, screw my current condition. It won't stay the same. It won't, I know that."
David finally returned to the dungeon and was really glad that, until now, he hadn't encountered any other humans. He had made a mistake earlier by choosing this path, but it wasn't very important since he had all the time in the world, didn't need to eat, and seemed quite refreshed, at least his spirit was extremely energized to spend the next few hours in that place.
Unfortunately, as expected, he didn't encounter any enemies in the first half-hour of walking. Naturally, he had destroyed them himself. The most curious thing was that there were none of the various bodies he had left behind.
"Does the dungeon absorb the bodies? Maybe that's how it sustains itself?"
The idea that he was actually inside a massive Lovecraftian being quickly left his mind when he finally started encountering new enemies. Now, he had gone much further than before, and he finally began to encounter creatures somewhat different from the normal zombies he had commonly seen before, which were mostly extremely slow and dumb.
David didn't know what these were, but they seemed like zombies, only stronger. The sensation was strange; they were larger, stronger, but not necessarily superior.
When these noticed David, the three that were resting quickly started running towards him to kill him, which he didn't expect such quick action from them.
This incompetence led one of the zombies to get close enough to deliver a powerful punch to one of his arms, breaking it instantly.
Fortunately, it seemed that David didn't feel any pain from it, which was quite obvious, and he quickly tried to use his spear to kill that creature, failing miserably due to the distance between them.
"Darn, this spear is too long; in my first chance, I'll cut the tip off, that should make my life much easier."
However, after using a punch from his other arm to push that zombie away before the others arrived, he finally gained enough space and destroyed the head of that zombie.
When the other two arrived, David quickly struck one of them precisely, and the other quickly followed his former companions.

"This first one was strangely much stronger and faster than the others, but still, if the other zombies were even slightly faster, I'd probably be used as a toothpick by them."
After realizing one of his flaws, David quickly picked up his spear and with his foot, managed to break the spear that had almost been as tall as him, now it wouldn't be longer than his arm.
"It's not pretty, but it should work just fine."
"Darn, this arm is strange. It didn't break completely, but it's kind of cracked. However, I don't think I need to worry too much; the Basic Regeneration ability should help me in this regard."
After this event, David went back to genocide all the zombies he encountered. The telekinesis ability was the most useful thing he could have bought. Its cost was extremely low, and even though he couldn't manipulate living or dead beings like zombies or the weapons they used, this ability proved to be extremely useful in various situations. There was nothing better than using the fallen enemy's weapon to defeat others who hadn't even realized what was happening. Unfortunately, due to the deplorable quality of these swords, David didn't think for a moment to pick them up.
However, when he was almost tired of the endless killing and hoped to find someplace relatively safe to rest, he finally began to hear sounds of what seemed to be a battle.
And when he finally got close enough, he saw that some adventurers were actually fighting what seemed to be two zombies much larger than the ones he had seen so far.
At this moment, he didn't know if he should run away or help these young ones. None of them seemed to be over 16 years old, and if they died, it would be due to their youthful ignorance. David found that sad. But they could believe that he was also some kind of demon, and maybe even try to kill him after the battle.
However, when he saw one of three young people die, David had already made up his mind and quickly started running towards them to try to help.
