Clearly, before he had 0 points, and now he had a whopping and magnificent 4 points.
It didn't seem like there was much to do on this tab, so, noticing that there was a shop area, which he believed might serve to buy knowledge or perhaps even powers, he quickly entered it.
Not exactly understanding how the commands worked, but with a simple intuition, he simply said "shop," and the whole screen quickly changed to a completely different one.

"It seems that there are really only two sections in the store, Attributes and Powers. It's really quite simple. How does Powers work? Do I simply learn about the ability? Or do I gain a talent I didn't have before?"
"Attributes"
First and foremost, he wanted to know how costly it would be to strengthen himself. It was strange that both a zombie and a sentient being gave the same amount of points, and perhaps, if that were the case, even more powerful beings could also give only this amount.
"It might be somewhat harmful, but well, aren't skeletons immortal? I waited almost ninety years to get out of that cursed place, so I don't think I'd mind grinding for a long time while I wait to become stronger."

OBS: The Value Will increase after a determined number of buyings for all attributes

"Hmm, interesting, two points is a truly manageable value, but this observation is indeed concerning. It simply means that the idea of focusing on both physical attacks and magic is out of the question. It's a shame, but maybe it makes sense, as in all the MMORPGs I've played in my lifetime, especially the Chinese ones where you managed your own points, you often had a fixed amount of points to allocate to each attribute. There were usually existing builds, like full int, which was always the best for magic classes, or hybrid, usually better for healers.
Using this logic, it seems like I'm just playing a non-sandbox game. I won't be able to create a character, for example, that is a tank and at the same time has power comparable to any glass cannon.
But the system is something just for me; there must be other ways to earn points. But since I don't know exactly, I'll focus on what I want, which is magic."
However, David didn't buy anything at this moment; he only had four points, and he didn't know what awaited him in the powers.
When he finally entered the powers tab, he was really surprised because, contrary to what he believed, where there would be some powers related to himself, in fact, there seemed to be powers that were only allowed for his own racial level, but... the powers seemed to be simply endless.
This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there.
Most of the powers also seemed to require previous powers to be purchased, and, my goodness, they were expensive.
One of the most basic powers, "Mana manipulation," cost around 500 points, and this seemed to be one of the most fundamental powers needed for many others related to magic.
More complex powers that he could still have, like "undead revival," seemed to cost 5000, and from what he understood, he would also need "undead charm" so that the undead wouldn't simply attack him after being revived, and how much did undead charm cost? 10000. If he earned two points for every monster defeated, then he would have to stay there for a long time to get what he wanted.
However, when he was almost giving up on finding cheap and decent powers, he finally found one that seemed very promising."

Telekinesis[100 points]
-
allow the manipulation of middle and small non animated objects
[Description]: Telekinesis is the first thing that develops in a Psion's path, with a low cost of use, and is also commonly seen as an ability with infinite potential.

"Well, it's cheap, and it seems somewhat powerful if you combine it with some knives... actually, this seems very interesting. Of course, it seems like someone is trying to sell me this item with not-so-subtle marketing, but if it's really cheap to use, then it makes sense to buy it. Psions are people capable of psychic powers? If that's the case, then it also seems interesting, but I still need to understand more about it to get a better idea of all this."
"Just not needing to save 500 points to buy what seems to be a useless skill, I think it's worth a try."
Now finally decided, David decided that he would start searching massively for other monsters to defeat, but before that, he decided to put one point in Mind and the other in Mana. He was almost certain that telekinesis would use mana, so he considered it necessary.
After that, he finally began searching for other monsters. Now, however, he was going in the exact opposite direction, heading back to where he was born, but because everything seemed the same, he wasn't sure when he had already passed through that area.
He did this for a simple reason: if there was a person there who had been killed by a zombie and had not passed him, then that probably meant that the exit from that place, which likely led to a human settlement, was in that direction.
And the last thing David wanted was to encounter other humans, especially powerful ones. David didn't want to kill anyone, but he wasn't so sure about what adventurers would think when they saw a skeleton. Even if he could speak, they still wouldn't believe him and would kill him.
The world wasn't exactly cruel, but this was a fact; if he were human, the story would be entirely different.
Finally, after walking for just a few minutes, he came across not one or two, but three zombies who seemed to be walking together for some reason.
David now understood how these beings operated and had a much more practical weapon for this situation. He wasn't a master at it, but a spear was much more easily wielded by someone without training than a sword. It was definitely just aiming, and quickly, he ended up killing two zombies without them even noticing him.
The third one quickly followed the others, and David finally received the message of his new gain."

"It seems that Two is not really the standard value, well, that's good, but I don't have enough data to know more precisely... okay, now I have 9 points, I think it's going to be really quick to acquire all the points I need."
When he saw his stats, it seemed that his level had now increased to two. He hadn't gained anything from it, and he found it strange what this level really represented, but he didn't care much. This higher level meant progress, and he liked that feeling.
After that, David began a truly relentless hunt for zombies. He didn't encounter other beings, maybe because he was on a dungeon floor where only zombies existed, but after some time, perhaps two hours, David was already somewhat tired.
During this time, he managed to kill more zombies than he expected and acquired something very interesting. In a moment just after killing one of the zombies, he ended up gaining a new power, which was "Mastery Spear level I."
This ability greatly improved his spear handling, and he was now moving it in a much more fluid way.
Miraculously, he managed to level up from level 002 to level 015, shortly after killing approximately 90 zombies.
He didn't know why it was so easy to find zombies, but if they were there and easily killed, then there was no reason for him to stop. In the meantime, he ended up earning a very good amount of points, totaling 210 points.
Most zombies simply dropped 2 points, but some dropped three or four, and he even found one that dropped 5. He didn't really understand the reason for this, as it wasn't related to strength, but instead of buying the skill he wanted right away when he achieved his goal, he decided he would farm as much as possible before feeling exhausted from the massacre.
It had been a long time since David had exerted any physical effort, and, well, those beings were not human, minimally sentient beings, to David, they were just creations of that dungeon probably, so he felt no remorse for killing them. It was clear they had souls, but if their souls were trapped in those poor bodies, then it was only fair to set them free.
David laughed loudly at what he had just thought.
"I better not think this way anymore; I don't know where my morality would end up if I followed this line of thinking."
"But for now, I think I'll meditate a bit. Clearly, I'm tired, and I'm not sure if I want to plan my purchases now, it's too much pressure, everything is moving much faster than I imagined."
"I don't know if skeletons are capable of sleeping, but screw it, meditating is more fun."
David realized that it now seemed even easier to enter a meditative state than before, and because of his training over the last century, if left undisturbed, he could stay in that exact state for days.
Unfortunately, David unexpectedly began to feel a strange itch in the bones of his leg, this after a few hours of meditation, and when he finally came out of it, he simply found two zombies trying to eat his bones.
"Seriously, are these guys idiots?"

"I guess until I get out of this place, no meditation for me. Dealing with two zombies is easy now. But if I were defenseless and a monster showed up? Or even an adventurer? Yeah, I'd be screwed. I guess these decades have taken some part of my brain for me to have decided to meditate in the meantime."
But now with 215 points, David finally decided it was time for him to start becoming truly powerful, or at least powerful for this dungeon floor.
