Versatile
A restraint given to those who disturb the grave of the Betraying Angel. It removes the ability to use main and/or sub-weapons. The "Ensnared" gains the ability to enter Versatile mode by paying MP. Once activated, Versatile cannot be canceled and required MP to maintain the mode.
"Ah, so Versatile is a special ability, like a skill, right?" I ask myself. I jump up and stand ready for action. With my left hand on my hip, I raise my right hand high and exclaim, "Cast: Versatile!"

Initially, it was Chained Spell. A skill that can't be considered passive or offensive. I can't use it to attack or as a buff. Initially, the description only stated: "A chain thirsty for magic..." or something like that.
It's true that I obtained the Chain-whatever skill from an event. I thought I was pretty lucky, but apparently not. This skill is too absurd and doesn't have a helpful description. I have to experiment on my own to find a way to use it.
Is it because I already have one unique skill that the devs decided to combine them into one? That could be right! Chained Spell and Versatile indeed have very similar characteristics. Activating and maintaining them both require a significant amount of MP.

I can't cast Chained Spell unless I use it as an infusion, and now the skill has become Chained Versatile's. Could it be that I can't make it active or passive? Or do I need a specific equipment set? Or perhaps a specific quest has been added to my list? Maybe I need a combo skill, a ritual, before using this skill?

I can't equate Skills and Abilities. Although they can be used interchangeably in a general sense, when I think about it again, the developers wrote "Ability" instead of "Skill."

Abilities can fall under the category of "Skills," but it doesn't seem to work the other way around, or that's the direction my thinking is taking. And now that Ability has merged with myself, this character.
This game operates on such a mechanism, an Ability, or so I would thought. Like the red pearl on the tip of my Old Wizzardly Rod, it has the ability to store a high-level magic, Thunderia Storm, using the command "Call." But that's summoning a skill from an item. Can I use this analogy?
I don't want to fail after thinking this deep, so I must ensure my success. Let's continue this theoretical lecture.
From the start, I couldn't use the command "Cast" or "Call" for Chained Spell. I had to use "Release." That's what I learned when reading the skills usage guide yesterday.
Cast is used for using.
Call is used for summoning.
Release is used for unleashing.

My MP bar decreased, exactly as mentioned in the requirements. I could sense a significant difference in this virtual body.
At this moment, I had just opened the entrance called Chained's Versatile. To be able to use what was inside, I had to step forward. Hence, "[Call: Versatile!]," I exclaimed.
I thought I had done it correctly, and I felt that way. However, what unfolded was something I hadn't even considered from the beginning.
