Chapter 81: The effects of 36's discoveries

Allan after a while regained his composure. His feelings about the way 36 presented such an important piece of thing were questionable. He did not need to think twice or thrice to accept this offer. It was not even something he needed to take care of. Only doing and acting according to its content should be enough, but he has yet to uncover what is inside at all. If it was something dangerous, it would be something that 36 would not decide. That is, at least, William's little hope that could be well understood.

“I am willing to learn whatever you chose,” He said with a calm tone that hid his excitement.

“Good. Good. Take this scroll with you. I made sure to copy and add certain things to it to make it more understandable for Sarey. I hope she will not disappoint us.”

Sarey had already grabbed the scroll some time ago. Her eyes and hands were tightly knit to it. Another exciting piece of information for her. Excellent.

“No need to worry about anything. I will tell him all I could.” She said calmly as well.

“You both look like most excited beasts who were given a luxurious feast for the first time. How hilarious. Hehe.” 36 laughed at their appearance.

“Well, that is normal. What did you expect? Anyway, can you tell me more about this "strange energy"? I found it rather interesting if it was something unknown even to you. What if there are some issues with it?” Allan asked, with great expectations.

“Issues? You are mistaken. There are none, apart from the single one. Amount or quality. It could lead to some problems with progression and from what I've understood, it will strengthen the body from within depending on it, of course.”

“How do to know about it? Or how to train it?”

“I don't. That is up to our tries and your case for the far future. I am yet to be fully aware of it. It... has some strange pattern that could have some secrets that are yet to be understood by me. No one knows about it in the Immortal lands apart from the ones who made this Diary.“

“ Anyway! This is not important at the moment. I bet I will figure it out down the line much better since it has possibilities that you, Allan, will hopefully find out. Sarey already started that process of the Unmoving technique with my influence when she woke you up using that acupoint diagram. To get maximum use, you need to go with the further process of growth. If that is, how should I describe it.”

“As for the former, it is rather peculiar energy that has some sort of agency in the body. It affects some things in the cultivation and could do something special to an Immortal youth who has yet to walk the path of energy or body forging methods.” 36 remained explaining the techniques and secrets of the seated pair, while almost sounding unsure about his own words. He is yet to know the full effect, but the information states that the energy vortex would not dissipate even after using it. Unlike the energy manifesting through the Spark, that needs to be reffiled.

Sarey did not think too much about that treatment. It went according to what he said and explained through the page and his help at that time. Although it was her first time doing that, she found it easy and their effect quite strong.

Now, she became some sort of doctor who started something within Allan's body? She did not think for his sake alone. After all, Sarey remembered the moment not long ago in this room when he became hot, like a shimmering piece of charcoal. It was abnormal to her and they both decided to tell 36 about it. Maybe he already forgot about it? That could be the case since he is such a lunatic.

“Remember that this is something theoretical, even for me. I have no practical experience with this. All I could say is that it won't be as easy as you both think.”

“How about telling us what makes it so uneasy?” Allan voiced one problem that he could not figure out from his words alone.

“Well, since you insist. The first thing is having your body go into a frenzy for an extended period of training. That includes everything that I gave Sarey earlier. I even added some more diagrams, which are the acupoint diagrams. Apart from their base effects, they will act as a medium for the parts from the Unmoving technique. It has more priority since it is more important for you. Initial stages are extremely tough, so if you want to rush it, there is a possibility of gaining more progress.”

“Is that a good idea? How about a year from now? Should I keep going with the Unmoving technique?” Allan asked.

“Just 1 year? Body forging can go with mortals for their entire lifetime. Without the essence of the energy, they would still have their vitality risen twofold. Living for 200 years is possible. I guess your years will depend on yourself. It is up to you. I will have some way to get some information about better techniques later on, but I will see how it goes. For now, act according to this. Finish the first stage of Body forging. It usually takes about a month or so.”

“How to know if I am finished with my body forging stages, or what about that energy you talked about?”

“For that speck of energy. It could vitalize you with a surge of many strands. You will feel of little vortex coming from within you. At least that's what it should be like. It should be a similar feeling to awaking a semi-energy Spark. Depending on its quality. We will talk later about what you should do when you will actually awaken it. If you will even manage that...”

“I understand.” Allan listened attentively. Each sentence described what he wanted to hear answers for. 36 was not letting past mistakes go by. He made sure to talk in much greater detail than in the past. It made a much clearer vision of what Allan needed to do next. If It's going to be a continuous push beyond his limit, he would not stop even before cleaving those limits in half.

If that is something that needs to be done, there is no way to go easy on himself now.

“Sounds unbelievable to someone like me. What sort of progress or power is obtained from what you gave me today?”

“Are you that impatient?” 36 asked.

Allan kept his expressionless and silent face, speaking.

“Right. Now, think of it as an exercise where you slowly build up muscles and strength from them. Add to it this catalyst-like power which will enhance it. That is the premise of that energy. The effects of the Unmoving techniques are like a sturdy foundation to build something unshakable.”

“Then what about after this Body forging stage? You talked about bones and blood. What to think about that?” Allan kept asking questions about what was in his mind.

36 fell silence from it. Thinking about it for a moment, he understood what he went for. In truth, he was asking normal sort of questions that would be asked by about anyone who would try to start this sort of training. Allan was asking meaningful questions with an open mind.

The kind of answers depended on what sort of teacher is being asked what. Fortunately, 36 thought little of this and kept explaining.

“How to say it? Hmmm. If you get what I said previously, then the rest could be like an extension of the Unmoving technique. It acts in lines of defense with attention to users' preferences. It will sound complicated at first, but it would be better to explain it further down the line and not right now. Stages of progression have to happen naturally, with no need to rush towards the long distance within the techniques.”

“Choices and preferences? Defense? The Unmoving technique sounds kind of weak.” Allan muttered after hearing his detailed explanations.

“It is not... the wrong assumption. Add to it the rest of the details like that semi-energy Spark and you could improve the strength of everything. That is at least what I discovered.”

Allan mumbled under his nose in prose of unknown thought and wonder in mind. Resting his head between his palms with elbows on his legs. In truth, he was overwhelmed and wished to read this manual himself. It would be the best for his own experience.

“Anything else?” 36 asked after seeing Allan's state.

“If what you are telling us is something strange and extraordinary, why did you never know about that strange energy? I find it rather strange if even immortals have them.” Sarey asked after putting away the scroll.

“I was never a seeker of different pathways or things about the body in general. The general view of cultivation and immortality stems from the Spark itself. The Core of the life of any Immortal, and there is quite enough information and research put into it. I guess this speck of energy is something that is hard to find, and impossible to even research. I awoke my spark very early in my life. When it comes to this, I assume this knowledge is the best, so deal with it as you will. It is outside of my expertise after I found it through this Diary of the Body.” 36 said with a self-mocking tone.

He was completely honest with himself. It was more of a possibility than what he knew about. If everything went right with no issues, Allan would walk into something new, but not entirely different from what he knew. It was the time that would be the biggest constraint on both of them. Everything indicated that the expertise and technique that he gave Allan had to be manageable for the examination so he would not fail him or himself.

In truth, 36 made a lot of mistakes with his research. Yet he ended up discovering a strange way to move according to the pathway which was body forging in general. Involuntarily, he discovered the secrets of the Diary of the body. That is, the mysterious energy that acts with no kind of Spark.

All 35 previous teachers did not think like that about the materials they were given or the prose of the teaching someone. They all gave up or went with what they thought was the right choice of being a teacher. Going by the student's will, or not, it mattered nothing as the whole premise of The Ones, made it quite obvious how only 2 people succeeded so far. It must be incredibly hard.

Those 35 were not free from prison and this diary had always been given to the ones who were worthy. By whom? It acted by itself or by the will of The Ones. There were even a moment when some beings wanted to purchase the rights to hold this diary a long time ago. They failed.

Now, it was in hands of mortals who should not hold it, but it would soon underway strange encounters in their hands. Not even The Ones were currently aware of any wrongdoings which went under their hands. Be it the woman's words to 36 some time ago. Everything occurred within this diary, on this planet, far away from the Central region of the universe.

No one was aware of the so-called "mistake" which took place in Cendirr's cave. It would take considerable time before "they" will know it. The only one who had a hunch about this mess was the source itself. Cendirr was aware of the owners of that book. The implications of its disappearance, made it quite obvious how nervous he acted as he discovered it was missing.

It all went above and beyond the heads of the 3 figures, who were present on the mortal planet, while each was present in a small room. They were all the main antagonists of these problems. At least with the so-called fate.

Allan, upon hearing what he wanted, had enough. It would take some time even for him to process this.

“I will take your words deep into my mind, mister 36. Thank you for answering so much.” Allan had to wait further. If it would take a month to underway the initial stage of Body forging, he would challenge that time itself.

“Sarey, I hope for your clear cooperation. I will start tomorrow with the full release of this new technique.”

In truth, Allan nor Sarey completely understood everything that 36 told them. Some things would make more sense as time goes on. That is at least what they thought.

36's way of telling was the problem itself. He butchered the meanings that he had uncovered as he read that diary in his mind for so long. It took him some time before he went through this information to process it into an already existing technique. The Unmoving was known as an ordinary technique that would cause a powerful body with great strength.

In later parts, there was a saying. If you can defeat the foe without a touch, what attack is needed? Toughness beyond the limits! That is a way of Unmoving.

Limiting the smaller factors was not a very practical way to fight, such as the lack of offense and speed. Makers of that technique were ancient and their history went far into the history of the Immortal lands. All they left was this technique amidst their fated downfall of ancient times. But, history was redundant for 36, nor anyone who found this technique lacking. It could barely be considered an average body forging technique in any part of the universe.

36 did not care about it though. Upon reading through this technique, he discovered certain aspects which went hand to hand with some parts of the processed Diary's information. 36 simply chose it by the fact of how average it was, and the corresponding changes he did to it afterward.

The way the mysterious powers of the speck of energy would act, there would be its awakening through the motion of the focus, strength, external or internal changes, or a sudden outburst of getting stronger by the Body forging methods.

36 went with the latest, as this was the most universal path for the current Allan, who needs his eyes back. 36 could even notice the keen expectation on Allan, who is keen on body forging.

Perhaps Allan's body could lead to a miracle, and 36 would discover more effects of that mysterious energy.

As for the body forging methods, they went from the body, bones, and blood. But what was the body itself? Allan already asked it, and his mind still lingered across that question.

36 wondered for months about what makes it so special. A small speck of energy in each person shouldn't be that strange or have any abnormal effects. Although he later understood that it had something to do with the awakening of the Spark itself. That... was a completely terrific aspect of it, that caused him to feel uneasy. It was a truth he couldn't comprehend or confirm at the moment. That is one of the reasons he insisted on telling it to Allan, and making him go through the methods of awakening it.

Like an experiment rat, that is Allan.
