Here I am again. Woohoo. 2200 word chapter this time. The start of the new arc! Uh, not much to say this time. Enjoy.

Several hours later, Kyte exited the black sphere. He had concluded with the experiments he wanted to try out, with some positive results.
The first thing he discovered is that he can control the space within the black sphere. Unfortunately, he can only create spatial distortions that bend anything in whichever direction he wants. He tried creating a hole that connects to a different area in space, but the moment he tried the hole collapsed. Fortunately no black hole was created, which was one of Kyte’s ultimate fears while messing around with space. If a black hole somehow manifests, Kyte doesn’t know what he would do.
However, he’s confident that a black hole will most likely not appear. The conditions for one to manifest are quite extreme. Plus, Kyte isn’t smashing protons together or something. Of course, he wouldn’t want to rip them apart either. A nuclear explosion wouldn’t be very pleasant.
Actually, Kyte wanted to study atoms. Electrons are apparently able to “teleport” and “be in two places at the same time” within the electron cloud, which greatly confused him. If he could somehow understand the principles behind this strange phenomenon, Kyte could potentially be able to freely teleport anywhere he wants.
On that point, Kyte wondered if AHAD was doing tests pertaining to these type of theories. AHAD is far more technologically advanced than any other group that Kyte knows of. If they are doing these advanced experiments, Kyte would want to know about it. Let alone atoms, Kyte can’t even see the individual protons and electrons. If AHAD is able to create Guardians that are far more powerful than S rankers, then who knows what else they’re able to create.
There’s always more than one side to everything. For understanding the laws of space, there’s the technological way and the personal, individual way. Advancing technologically may take longer or it may take shorter, depending on the scientists involved. It’s the same with cultivating. The higher one’s talent is, the easier it is to understand the laws of the world. However, what would happen if you combine the two?
In Sol’keer’s universe, there were indeed some planets that only used technology. However, they were less than ten percent of the entire universe. There were also no one that ascended with the power of technology; the only ones to ascend were cultivators. Even in Sol’keer’s universe, no one tried to combine both paths. According to his memories, the highest any of the technological civilizations grew was interstellar space travel. They weren’t able to break past the dimensional wall to ascend. They probably didn’t even know there was one.
That’s one thing that’s always stumped the scientists of Gaet. First, they thought their planet was flat; they were wrong. Second, they thought they were the center of the universe; they were wrong. Third, they thought they were the center of the solar system; they were wrong. Fourth, they thought they were the center of the galaxy; they were wrong. They thought they were the only galaxy; they were wrong. It grew to the point where the more they discovered, the more they saw and more questions were being asked. They weren’t the only planet, they weren’t the only solar system, they weren’t the only galaxy, they weren’t the only galaxy super cluster. Now, they’ve reached another wall. They think they’re the only universe. Once again, they’re wrong.
There have been numerous debates on whether or not they are alone on their planet. There have been no signs of extraterrestrial life. However, there have also been no signs that they are truly alone. Maybe it’s because, in others’ eyes, the humans of Gaet are too underdeveloped?
Kyte sat there, pondering these questions. However, just thinking about them will get him nowhere. The first thing he needs is more power. Only then can he truly uncover the answers to these seemingly impossible questions.
Kyte took out his phone and sent a message to Rose, telling her that he wouldn’t be returning for a long time. He steeled his resolve to brutally train himself these three weeks in order to increase his power to the utmost limit with the time he has. He decided to split his days in half; first half would be formation training while the other half focuses on black light training. It was nearing the later hours, and since Kyte had already trained for hours with black light, he began training with formations. Learning the basic advanced formations would take a long time, especially since advanced formations are many times more difficult than intermediate. However, their power is also many folds higher.

--Two Weeks Later--
-2:50 AM-
Kyte was currently busy physically training his body while integrating black light into it. It was incredibly difficult to create a way to do so, however, by basing the technique off of a physical training technique from the memories he gained, Kyte was able to begin fusing his body with the black light. It took five days until he finally succeeded, though the amount of black light he absorbed was miniscule. However, success is success. Every journey begins with the first step.
The benefits Kyte gained by doing so? He actually doesn’t know what changed. The amount that has been absorbed by his body is very small, so he doesn’t know if there have been any changes. He will continue to train his body with the black light though, because, if there’s a chance that he can increase his power over space, he wants to to do it. Kyte doesn’t even know what will really happen, though. Anything could happen. Kyte doesn’t know a lot about the black light, so this is another good way to understand it. At the expense of experimenting with his body, of course. Nothing bad can happen, right?
Aside from that, the field Kyte has most improved in is, of course, formations. He comprehended the first several formations. He discovered that the formations all follow a certain algorithm, and by following that algorithm, Kyte was able to quickly understand the first several formations. The first few are: Terror Mist Formation, Frozen Blood Formation, Moonlight’s Eclipse Formation, Execution Blitz Formation, and Surging Energy Formation.
Terror Mist is a formation that brings out the terror within a victim’s mind, which is only displayed to the victim. Frozen Blood creates a frozen atmosphere which pierces into the victim’s body. Moonlight’s Eclipse is a defensive formation that creates a smooth barrier of soft, blue energy around the user. Execution Blitz is an offensive formation and it absorbs energy from the user, strengthens it, and then releases the energy in an explosion when the user wants. Surging Energy is a timed formation mostly used for traps. It gathers energy over a set amount of time and releases that energy when activated.

All in all, Kyte was quite satisfied with the formations that he comprehended so far. These were only the basics of the Advanced Formations, yet they were already several times more powerful than Intermediate Formations. It was often stated in Sol’keer’s world that the Law of Formations truly starts with Advanced Formations. Kyte had already noticed that when he discovered, mostly by luck, that certain algorithm that is used for Advanced Formations. There’s always a trick to everything, it’s just difficult to discover.
Aside from those two things, Kyte advanced further in the Void Seeker stage. However, he was still in the early stage, and his soul was still in the late stage. It’s foolish to think that he would breakthrough consecutively, especially in the later stages. It only gets exponentially more difficult the higher one climbs. However, that difficulty is met with great rewards.
Kyte continued absorbing black light as it smoothly flowed around him. Small specks of black light would sometimes disappear into his skin, being completely integrated within his body.
Everything was going well. The other Gifted in the underground district were busy with their own things. Mostly sleep, though. Only a few were up, and those few individuals were busy practicing. The light at the top of the underground place was greatly dimmed to symbolize night. Everything was calm.
However, what happened next would change the entire continent of Gaet.
……….
BOOM!!!
A mighty sound like heavenly thunder crashing down into the earth exploded outward from the center of Gaet. At the very center of the continent was a gigantic city of ruins. In the center of these ruins was an enormous seal that had alien-like hieroglyphs placed within an intelligent picture. It was brightly shining, even more intensely than the moon in the sky.
Just outside the seal were three figures. One of them was an old male that looked to be about sixty years or so. The other two figures looked like normal humans, except for their eyes that looked lifeless. Their pupils were greatly enlarged and a small white cloud could be seen within. The old male had a large, crazy smile on his face as he watched the seal begin to crack.
The entire seal had a large crack directly down the middle of it. Smaller cracks began to spread out from this large crack until they reached the edge of the seal. Another large boom echoed out as the light from the seal faded and the ground caved in, revealing a large flight of stairs that led downward.
“HAHAHAHA!! Finally...finally!! After several hundred years it finally weakened enough to be broken! However, it will take several more years to reach the bottom...FUCK! FUCK YOU!...Ahhh, whatever. A few years of waiting won’t change anything after this long. Just a few more years, and everything will come together. Then, this world will get it’s rightful judgement for what it’s done to me!”
Distant, deep howls of terror echoed out from the darkness the stairs led to. The old man, after hearing them, started to laugh. The two figures next to him simply stared straight ahead, as if they had no control over themselves.
“You two, let’s leave. I want to see how that DAMNED GG WILL SURVIVE THIS TIME!”
The old man took out a small remote and pressed a single button. A small light flashed, which enveloped them, and they disappeared.
--GG Capital City, Thest--
-White Family Mansion-
Several people were rushing to-and-fro from room to room, frantically trying to find information on what had just occurred. In the main hall of the mansion was a young man walking down the steps that led from the bottom to a top balcony. He wore a clean, white suit with a black tie. He had short, white hair that was slightly spiked in the front. His figure was simply put as clean and cut. The space around him seemed to pulse with power as it moved around him with slight distortions.
“Mr. White, sir! Reporting to you, sir!” An information carrier knelt down at the bottom of the stairs.
The man in the white suit was indeed, Thomas White. The apparent leader of GG.
“What have you learned so far, Reich?” Thomas replied. He voice was like thunder against Reich’s ears, even after hearing it for many years.
“T-t-the seal has broken, sir!”
“What?!”
Ripples of spatial distortions emanated out from Thomas’s body, slamming right through Reich. Reich swallowed the blood he was about to puke, however, a small dribble escaped his lips.
“Y-yes, sir. The seal has been broken, and, and…”
“And what, Reich?! Speak!”
“Strange creatures have begun exiting the hole!”
“Damn that old man!” Thomas slammed his fist against the railing on the staircase, completely destroying it.
Reich could no longer hold it in, coughing up a mouthful of blood. Thomas saw him do this, and he slightly frowned at his carelessness. He walked down the steps, past Reich, and stopped in the middle of the hall. Several people had filed into the main hall, all kneeling and waiting Thomas’s orders.
Thomas took a deep breath and closed his eyes for several seconds.
“Send out this order to all GG Branches: Abandon the Outer Sectors and travel to the Core Sectors and five surrounding Sectors. Anyone who disobeys this order will be convicted of high treason and will thus be executed on sight.”
Everyone in the room took deep breaths after hearing Thomas’s order. Abandon the Outer Sectors? AHAD’s influence will exponentially grow if they pull out.
Reich turned around and said:
“But sir, if we do that-”
“Silence! Do you know what happened the last time GG has faced an extermination event?! The leader at the time, Michael Dawn, let the Outer Sectors stay where they are. You know what happened next? They were all killed!”
“I-I apologize, sir.”
“It’s fine, Reich. I won’t let the same mistake happen again. Sometimes, you have to sacrifice something to gain something.”
After a full minute of silence, Thomas spoke again:
“The first few floors shouldn’t be that bad. The first floor Dread Creepers should be as powerful as lower-tiered S rankers. GG as it is now can easily handle that. The second floor should be almost at the Fighter level of power. It’s a good thing that only the first floor Creepers are able to exit into our world…..We must set out immediately! Stop all Dread Creepers from advancing farther than five miles from the Dread Entrance! Send that order to all available S ranks to Fighter ranks immediately!”
“”Yes, sir!”” Everyone in the hall responded in unison, quickly leaving to send out their leader’s orders.
