Chapter 330

After the recording finished, everyone went back to their dorms.

Audrey's

dorm was on the sixth floor. It was a small suite with two rooms, a bathroom, and a small living room, but no kitchen.

Leila and Yelimia each hooked an arm around Audrey, their eyes meeting with a spark of mischief. With only two rooms, it meant two of them would have to share a room.

Leila's eyes sparkled with an idea, and she quickly grabbed Audrey's arm saying, "Audie, I get a bit scared sleeping alone, and can you stay with me tonight?"

Audrey looked Leila up and down, thinking, 'A tough girl afraid of the dark?'

Before Audrey could reply, Yelimia quickly added, "Audie, Leila snores at night. If you sleep with her, you won't sleep well. Come with me instead; I'm a quiet sleeper."

Leila shot back, "You might not snore, but who knows if you'll steal Audie's blanket? What if she catches a cold?"noveldrama

Yelimia retorted, "I won't let Audie catch a cold, so worry about yourself!"

As the two started bickering again, Audrey sighed helplessly. "Alright, that's enough, you two! Stop fighting."

The two stopped talking, but they were still glaring at each other.

It seemed like they wouldn't give up until Audrey made a choice.

Audrey couldn't stand it anymore and shook her head. "Look, I'm not used to sharing a bed with others, so

I might have to inconvenience you both..."

Hearing this, Yelimia and Leila were both dumbfounded.

They hadn't expected that in the end, they'd have to share a room.

They both thought, 'What is the point of all that arguing?'

The livestream viewers were laughing their heads off.

[Isn't Audie worried that one of them might try to smother the other during the night?]

[Fight! Let's fight!]

Seeing their sad faces, Audrey felt a twinge of guilt.

After pondering for a moment, she offered, "I know it's a bit unfair to make you cater to my habits. How

about I make it up to you by writing the lyrics for your new song?"

As soon as Audrey said this, the live stream chat went wild.

[Didn't Audie hear what Jake, the host, said about the rules? They can only write original songs; she can't help others write!]

[She's just showing off her skills, afraid people won't know she can write songs.]

[So what if she's just showing off? Does it bother you? If you don't like it, just leave!] The fans were sensible and mostly supported Audrey.

Leila and Yetimia were unaware of the commotion in the chat. But both of them clearly knew this behavior wasn't right, so they instinctively considered Audrey and in unison said, "No way."

Audrey was puzzled and asked, "Why can't we?"

Yelimia whispered, "The producers want original work. If you openly say you're helping us write, the other contestants' fans will surely criticize us. We just don't want to cause you trouble."

Leila added, "Yeah, Audie, just focus on yourself. I might not have much talent for songwriting, but with our mentor's help, I'm sure we can come up with something. So don't worry about us."

Realizing they were thinking of her well-being, Audrey felt a warm feeling inside.

She smiled and had them sit down, explaining seriously, "The producers only said it has to be original; they didn't say it has to be composed by the contestants themselves.

"And I'm just helping you guys with the lyrics. You can handle the music composition yourself. It doesn't really break any of the rules."

Leila nodded thoughtfully and rubbed her chin, saying, "That kind of makes sense..."

But Yelimia had another concern. "Isn't it too much pressure for you to write two sets of lyrics for us all at once? You still need time to practice your own songs."

Audrey confidently assured, "I can finish the lyrics in one night. It won't interfere with tomorrow's practice." Yelimia and Leila were both speechless.
