He was dealt a really good hand now. Michael really thought for a while if he doesn’t want to be a [Magic Megalodonic Mosquito]. The properties and capabilities of that race were very funny. If he gathered an immense amount of health points he could grow to the size of the planet or even greater, because there was no supposed limit. He had eternal life anyway so after a few thousands years of sucking he would be more frightening than any demon lord in history. What if he used [Suck] on the planet when he gets bigger than the planet? Would he gain +1 health? After fantasizing about the troll like abilities Michael snapped back to reality. If he run out of mana he would have to be at his max size. If he became the size of a big building while being just a punching bag with no attack abilities. He would be a pretty good snack for a dragon. There was no way that mosquito that big could survive in a fantasy world. He could use [Mosquito Monarch] during his previous evolution too, but it costed causality, that’s why he didn’t want it. Only [Miracle Mosquito] and [Vampire Mosquito] remained. [Miracle Mosquito seemed interesting, but if he would get a good will of everyone with karma 0 and above, he could become a target of evil beings, he didn’t want that. Description of the race implied that even without [Miracle Mosquito] race there was a chance for him to get a holy skill while praying. He was all for the glory of god but from his experience and knowledge, the kingdom of god is within. Using god’s power to fight felt pretentious and wrong for him. He never liked holy and miracle things in fantasy worlds. So he chose [Vampire Mosquito]. His body glowed. His size increased, the stats have raised and his affinity for magic heightened. He became a [Vampire Mosquito]. Immediately after transforming into his new race, Michael tried to turn into a human form. His back legs merged and grew. Arms grew and on their tips started appearing fingers. Head turned very human-like, even more human than any of the attacking humanoids had, but it still had an exoskeleton with a pale mosquito’s pale cream color. Under his nose he had something that looked like a hairy mustache stretching out of the head’s frame. It was his antenna. His chin was very long, like in a pharaoh bust, it was his proboscis. The little hairs he had on all of his limbs, intensified on his head and started looking like he had a buzz cut. Original mosquito’s eye enlarged only enough to become the iris of a new eye. From his back were hanging glowing, transparent wings like a cape. He had five fingers like humans, all of them were generously gifted with thick black hair. The limbs were covered in his black exoskeleton and had a slightly blackish tint compared to the normal pale cream color of the body. Michael realized he was naked. ~Who cares?~ He was old. Common feature among old people is that they don’t care about what people will think of them. He started looking around his body with displeasure. ~Where is my dong?~ It wasn’t between his legs. Mosquitos have their genitalia at the bottom of their spine. Michael wasn’t happy about that but he moved on quickly. The most important reason for him to chose mosquito vampire was that he could turn humanoid and communicate with humans better. He tried using his vocal chords, but he wasn’t accustomed with his new body yet. The only sounds he could muster were murmurs and -AaAAa- Michael sounded like a brain damaged. ~Well, I probably shouldn’t use my voice for now.~ He walked back to the front gate and stood on one of the many bearman bodies, about twenty five meters from the gate. It was a morning, so people on duty to collect bearmen bodies were not awake yet. Sentry guard quickly noticed him and alerted the fort. -Someone is standing outside the gates!- Michael waved his hand noticeably, above his head. -State your business!- Sentry went along the codex. Michael got a little confused. ~How am I supposed to state my business in a brain dead language?~ He looked around. His eyes stopped at the bearman he was standing on. Michael picked him up above his head. Then did a knee kick to bearman’s body spine while he was throwing him down. ~Woah.~ Michael could test his strength for the first time in a humanoid body. It felt really good. What worried him was that he did not have a conscience and basic morals every human has from birth. He didn’t feel bad when killing and playing with the dead bodies. It was like he was in a game killing virtual things. His souls had morals, he did not continue ragging bodies after that knee kick. Sentry guard got the message. -The killer of bearmen is standing outside!- Wofer couldn’t believe what he heard. ~Who else besides my mosquito could do such a thing?!~ Everyone was interested and got on the walls and towers to watch. Commander also looked. They stared at him for a good fifteen minutes. Commander broke the silence. -Who wants to be a messenger?- The guy that was starting shouts of victory before, raised his hand as a volunteer. -Perfect. Capitan Pilate You will be rewarded for a successful communication.- Capitan Pilate crossed the gates and stopped five meters from Michael. Capitan placed his hand on a right bicep while his right forearm was vertically up with a clenched fist. ~Kozakiewicz’s gesture?~ Michael was confused. Capitan clearly showed something that was a sign of disrespect back in his world. ~Maybe it’s some kind of salute?~ Michael did the same gesture. -Hello, Are you a messenger of some kind?- loosened up and started with a question. Michael didn’t want to respond with his vocal chords. So he created a slightly bigger water stream beside them. Michael’s mustache flickered then he opened his wings to the side showing that he’s not human. Pilate observed the situation. -Can you speak?- He asked while pointing at his mouth and waving the other hand. Michael waved his head signaling “no”. After a little pondering Pilate continued. -Did you kill all these bearmen?- Michael nodded. Pilate smiled and waved his hand to Michael to follow him. Pilate quickly understood that Michael was on a different level, If he wanted he could finish the rest of the fortress easily. Michael relaxed his wings and followed. From afar Wofer saw the interaction. He had an inkling that this winged man could be his mosquito.
