“Remember how I told you I would set up a date for us and Pat’me and Vulpely?” asked Ukalata as we came home from another lesson with Miss Roxy and ate together. She tried and failed to explain to me how glyphs worked, so I needed to retake the lesson tomorrow and hope I do better next time... and not nearly burn down a tree by accident.
“Uh yeah, you told me about it yesterday while we were building Felicity.” I said as I finished eating my lunch.
“Pat’me is busy trying to find a very evil cat breeder who has no regard for the safety of the cats, but Vulpely wanted to meet us today in the local LGBT meetup, said that she was interested in meeting you.” she said as she magiced a phone into existence. “The next train would drive there in about 40 minutes, enough for us to calm down a little bit, get dressed and have some fun with Vulpely.” she said as she looked at me with puppy eyes, holding up Felicity who did the same but with kitty eyes. “Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?” they both begged in unison, forcing a sigh out of me as I thought about it.

“Well the LAST time I went to the LGBT meetup in town it ended up with me being booed out for, and I quote ‘trying to infiltrate lesbian spaces’ or something bullshit like that…. But now I look like this, and I do have you now, so I could be a petty bitch and go back there to make them jealous as all hell….. Fuck it, why not.” I replied, going to clean up the dishes before Ukalata simply snapped her fingers to clean them in an instant. Always forgot that she was able to do that. Gave me more time to agonize about what to wear. My sense of fashion actually came to life once I had a body I was comfortable with, but there were too many good choices! But I knew one thing right from the start, if I went back to the meetup then whatever I was going to wear to it had to make me look hot.
