“Sally are you OK!?”

Her voice is weaker than ever, with no snarky comment when her arm just got detected from her body.
“Should I call…”
“Don’t do it!! I haven’t come this far to back off now!”
Jay looks into her eyes and sees an unwavering determination. He has to concede calling the medic in and pulling from this competition would be disrespectful. The mech is already in a very bad state, the pulse sword can only activate for a brief amount of time but its damage is one of the highest among the energy weapons.
“Sally you’re 500 meters away from the nano fix get it before Willaims gets up”
Sally moved her right arm at Jay's word. Her mech started up again and headed for the nanofix, this time it went smoother than ever. The [Jammer knight] needs time to recover since Sally did serious damage to it.
She grunted in irritation when she couldn’t finish the mech off. Her own mech would have been disabled if she went ahead and killed the [Jammer knight]. She hoped that the overheating thruster that she heard exploded and did some damage.
Not much later she arrive at the nanofix drop points. it’s a rectangular capsule that sinks into the Lava rock. luckily the package is undamaged. Jay got a signal from the nanofix pod and opened it for her. The lid slides out from the front side revealing 3 canisters of nanofix.
Jay works to connect it to the mech data system and all they have to do is...
“Stick in on the mech.”
The canister opens up revealing a needle used for injection. Sally stabbed inside the cockpit, she didn’t need her head camera to see outside since Willaims cut her up pretty nicely. The nanofix exited through the needle and repaired the mech. Sally could see it closing her cockpit in real time.
The mech now has a patch of grey iron everywhere from the Nanofix repairing the mech. sadly this brand didn’t come with a free coloring aid. But the mech still functions find. What she had to worry about now was her missing arm. She used an aid kit inside the cockpit to stop the bleeding and treat her wound with healing stim.
The nanofix works just fine on a mech but it didn’t “repair” pilots. Sally is stuck playing this battle royal with one arm, which feels both weird and agonizing to her. The real body still has her arm but it has to pretend that it didn’t exist.
“Sally more bad news”
“What the stars it is this time!?”
“A juggernaut mechup has locked in your position MOVE!”
At this point, Sally already moved when Jay said that there was bad news. A kinetic bullet half the size of [Dual dangers] flew past her. it impect the Lavarock punching a hole in the Lava ground. An orange liquid erupts out in a spazzing. Sally turned the mech head to see the shooters.
A 20-meter tall mech that has equipped some kind of hover tank mechup. It’ 's almost twice as tall as her mech and definitely longer. Its most glaring feature is 4 hover blades that keep it above ground, Heavy armor that looks like a pain in the ass to break, and the most dangerous a big canon. Its’ main weapon is the size of the tank itself, situated in the back of the tank, the barrel could reach the front.
Another shot has been loaded into the gun and Sally wouldn’t want to be a target practice. Her thruster started up for another time, dodging the bullet that just got fired. One of those could down even a heavy mech in AP-tier.
Sally grits her teeth and plays another round of chasing. Her original plan is to lure the mechup to Willaims but the [Jammer knight] vanished from the spot that she left him. This left her with the only option to flee to the crater and hope that another mechup would fight it.
Sally could also see the Lamites in the distance. Laminates are organisms that love minerals but more importantly, they love energy and mechs have a lot of them. For some ungodly reason, this kind of thing can control mech when they devour the pilot and the battery. It uses itself to generate energy. its only need is to seek out more minerals to sustain itself.
Highly dangerous for any civilization, but a good adversary for the competition.
The Lamites came in the form of silver-blue floating bugs. It had thousands of legs and had a hived mind controlling the little guy from afar. Sally sees it control 5 mechs already. It’s heading for the mechup, trying to swarm with a greater number.
The mechup however has no problem with these Lamite-infested mechs. However, It also sees the threat and turns its gun away from Sally. A quick shot from the cannon blew away the Lamite-infested mech into oblivion. However, there’s also a hoard of them trailing behind The 5 mechs.
The mechup close-range defense activates, gathering gunfire at these Lanites. An average size of Lamite is equal to a human pilot but it is dwarfed by the Juggernaut mechup. It continues to swarm the mechup, relentlessly throwing itself at the mechup. At this rate, the juggernaut will lose this fight.
“Incoming coms, it’s from [Jamming Knight]” Jay said
“Hello, Lady! I have a proposal for you”
“I don’t talk with losers”
“Hey, you’re the one missing an arm here”
“I’m ending…”

“Stop stop!” William said, his voice sounding deep trying to sound more professional “I said I have a proposal here”
“As I said before, I don’t talk with…”
“Let me be frank, You ain’t gonna make it to the crater” Jay could see Wilaim's face but he could tell that his lips were curved up into a smile.
“YOU are not making it.”
“No, it’s not like that. We both will not make it if that mechup falls. The Lamites will multiply and chase you down. I can guarantee that it’s faster than you and me booth.”
Sally zooms in on the Lamites swarming the mechup, and sure it is, the Lamites are faster than her. William seemed to be serious too, he could easily left her for the crater rather than cooperating and getting himself into this mess.
“What are your plans?”
“Finally, Thank you for your interest! We will send the message that we would like to help the mechup then we get close to them and blow his battery up killing all the lamites around here.”
“What if he won’t agree?”
“He has no choice”
“Tch” Sally doesn’t feel like teaming up with this guy at all but his plan makes sense. Getting away from them would be a pain in the ass for her and the crater is quite far from this place. Her hot head wants to say no, but her logic wants to say yes so she turns to her trusty mech builder. She cut her coms with Willaims and called Jay.
“What do you think?”
“We could help him and backstab him later, I’m sure he plans to do the same. If we leave, there like a 50/50 chance that we make it to the crater but if Willaim's plan succeeds we can be guaranteed to reach the crater since the Lamites would not catch up if this swarm explodes.”
“Tch” She grits her teeth, Jay also doesn’t like the teaming up but it’s not like they would die from it. She connects back with Willaim Coms.
“Deal”
“Great!” Willaim beam “Oh and can I get one nanofix? I can’t fight in this state.”
“....” Sally didn’t want to but she had no choice. “Where are you?”
“I’ll send you my direction”
A mech outline became visible, and William pings himself for Sally to see. He’s hiding under some kind of rock that looks like he cut off the ground himself. Sally threw the nanofix his way and he caught it. He uses his mech's right hand to yank the chainsaw blade out and inject the nanofix.
After that was done, it was time to get to work. Both of them set off in that direction, where the mechup is located.
“Connected to my coms we will form a network”
“Connecting…. online”
“Great, I’ll call the mechup now”
The calls quickly connected with the mechup. In the meantime, Sally scan the mechup
Holly Gray

“Hello Holly, me and Sally here have a team up and we want to help you fend off that Lamites”
“Why would you do that!?”
Holly asks without thinking much, his mind is focused on fending off the Lamite trying to close in. A cyan color pulse shield glows spherically around Holly's whole mech. it blocks all Lamite from slipping in and ruining the whole mech but it is incredibly energy-consuming.
“We couldn’t get away if you fall, I propose we work together”
“Fine! Help me cut down these swarms!”
As expected, Holly does not have the luxury of choice, either he cooperates or dies. The guy slightly regrets the mechup that he is equipped with. he wouldn’t have been slow enough for the Lamite to catch him.
“I’ll handle the close one and Sally will handle to further one.”
William went in close to the mechup pulse shield and slashed some laminates with this blade. One swipe could take out 4-6 lamites, maybe more if it lines up perfectly. Sally also gets to work selling the facade. She set up a bit back, she used her remaining arm to swap to her left hand operating a laser rifle.
With all three mech powers combined, the Lamits swarm has been put back. but it’s nowhere near enough for them to break out. They help Hooly for 4 minutes.
“NOW!”
William signals the start of their betrayal. His swords quickly jam into the mechup pusle shield clearing some of it out.
“....”
Sally didn’t miss a beat and released her charge shot aiming at Holly's massive canon. It explodes on impact but it’s not enough to disable to whole canon.
“You backstabbing junks”
Holly's eyebrows crease into anger and aims his canon in Sally's direction, however, Willaim cuts the barrel off, ruining the CPC chip aim assist. It has to recalibrate to a new barrel to maintain the accuracy. Sally followed that up with a slew of laser shots, fired right into the mechup defense gap.
BAM!
Another part of the mechup blew off, the hover blade ceased to work after Sally put a last shot in there. Its whole balance goes into a frenzy, and so does the mech pilot who’s in full panic mode. His defense slipped up and some Lamites got into his system. Its first action is to find and eat the energy.
“Step two! I mark the battery for you.”
A location ping on Holly mechup, Sally could see a battery that Willaim had located but the constant moving left her angle unfavorable to shoot from. She changes her angle, inches closer to the mechup, and unleashes another charge shot.
The blue laser drilled into the mechup but it narrowly missed the battery. She charges up another shot, hoping to end this bout.
“Sally, Lamites behind you”
She turns around and a group of Lamites is crawling toward her. She grits her teeth and blasts some of them into a piece of flesh. She switched her hand to a chainsaw and cut down the rest of the Lamites. Being only one-hand pilot, she suffers greatly when it comes to switching weapons.
At that time, William is fighting for his life inside the mechup pulse shield. Several machine guns relentlessly follow his movement. The big gun is useless at this range so Holly is using it to snipe Sally.
This is not good
At this rate, they will all die. Sally will get shot down by Holly, and Holly and Willaim will get swarmed by the Lamites. Sally evades Holly's shot and aims another change shot. Their last chance at survival.
“Willaim open the mechup shield!”
“I’m trying!”

William's pulse shield cut through another part of the mechup shield making a way for Sally to shoot at it. This shot is sure to hit the battery and blow the mechup along with the Lamites around it.
However, before she could fire her last shot, another Laser shot came down from above. The first one made a tiny hole into the pulse shield and another one followed closely behind the first hitting the battery of the mechup.
