15-Nick Fury
In front of me, the girl raised her spear, preparing to throw it at me. But she was too slow...
[Wind Steps]
Suddenly, I appeared in front of her and punched her, causing her to be embedded into the wall again.
This girl was pitifully weak... No, I had become much stronger.
The girl coughed up blood again. I had hit her with all my might, and I was sure her internal organs had suffered severe damage.
She was now looking at me with primitive fear in her eyes...
"What happened to your confidence?" I asked, pulling her from the wall by her arm. Then, I supported myself by holding onto her shoulder with one hand and pulled her arm with all my strength.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGHHHGGGGGGG!"
With a nauseating snap and a scream of agony, I ripped off her left arm.
"Wait!... I'll do anything you want... Please don't kill me," the girl begged forcefully.
I looked at her with disgust in my eyes.
"Unlike you, your friend didn't even beg in his final moments," I said, looking into her eyes.
The girl looked at me for a few seconds, then furrowed her brows and summoned her spear, hurling it at me.
I caught the spear in mid-air and pulled her right arm.
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
The same thing happened, with a nauseating snap and a moan of pain, I ripped off her other arm.
The anger and hope in the girl's eyes vanished. She looked down, expecting me to kill her.
I grabbed her by the throat and lifted her into the air.
[Soul Burning Flame]
Blue flames flowed from my hand into the girl's body, consuming her already broken soul in a second.
When the body in my hand turned to ashes, a voice came from behind me.
"I'm sure she deserved it," the voice said.
When I turned around, I was greeted by Nick Fury. I wasn't surprised to see him; after all, I had sensed him the moment he entered the mansion.
"Nick Fury, you're late," I said, looking at him.
Upon hearing my words, Fury asked in surprise, "How do you know me?"
Even though he seemed calm, I was sure they had taken precautions before coming here. Most likely, an army was waiting for me outside.
Seeing me inspecting my surroundings cautiously, Fury smiled.
"Don't worry, it's just you and me."
Upon hearing this, I chuckled.
"How long have you been following me?" I asked.
Fury didn't answer my question; instead, he said something else to me.
"You still haven't answered my question," Fury said.
"I was told about a nightstalker I killed," I lied.
Fury furrowed his brows upon hearing my words.
"The one in the bar?" he asked, but things weren't going that way.
"Answer my question. How long have you been following me?" I demanded.
"We've been following you since the massacre in the bar," Fury replied.
"When you say 'we'?"
As soon as I asked my question, two more people entered the mansion. I knew these two quite well. One of them was none other than Captain America himself. He was wearing his blue and red costume and had his vibranium shield on his left arm.
The other person entering the mansion was Phil Coulson. There was a small smile on his face, and just looking at him made me feel good. When our eyes met, he nodded at me, and I returned the gesture.
"There's no need to prolong the conversation. What's your offer?" I asked.
Capturing the confident tone in my words, Captain America said to me, "You seem quite confident in yourself."
"I can't refuse that, after all, I'm the only one here who can kill a nightstalker," I replied.
"I've seen many kids your age. They were all arrogant and conceited. Their endings were bad."
"None of them can be like me, Captain... If you want, I can show you that right now."
"I think both of you should calm down," Coulson said.
"Let's go somewhere else to talk."
