12-Hammerhead Family
"Where... am I?" Miles whispered.
There was a slight ache in his heart right now, and he felt somewhat dizzy.
"Wait! That guy knocked me out!" Miles yelled with awareness.
He remembered stumbling upon a fight here yesterday and throwing a spider web at the guy to stop him. But he was having difficulty recalling what happened next.
"It's like... blue flames were coming at me," he whispered.
Miles stood up and peered down from the container he was in. The police had already arrived at the scene and were collecting the weapons from the containers.
Luckily, Miles had passed out on top of a high container. Otherwise, the police could have found him.
Miles quickly scanned the fighting area with sharp eyes. Despite some cracks and craters in places, there were no bodies around, which was quite surprising.
"There should have been at least twenty workers here... There was no one around while those two were fighting, which is unbelievable. There are workers at this port every day," Miles whispered.
"This leaves two options. Either they were kidnapped, or their bodies were disposed of," he added.
According to Miles, the first option seemed more logical. Even if they tried to dispose of all the bodies, there would surely be some evidence left behind.
*The one responsible for this must be the guy who knocked me out. Since he didn't kill me and stopped the arms smuggling here, he can't be all bad. But his methods are quite dangerous,* Miles thought.
The vibration of his phone interrupted Miles' thoughts.
Miles took out his phone and saw a terrified expression on his face when he saw the caller. He answered the phone immediately and placed it to his ear.
"MILES! DO YOU REALIZE HOW MANY TIMES I'VE BEEN TRYING TO CALL YOU? IF YOU DIDN'T PICK UP THIS PHONE, I WOULD'VE COME TO LOOK FOR YOU!" Gwen shouted.
Miles waited for the person on the phone to calm down with a small smile on his face, then spoke.
"Calm down, Gwen, I have my reasons."

"WHAT POSSIBLE REASON COULD YOU HAVE? YOU HAVEN'T PICKED UP MY CALLS SINCE LAST NIGHT!!!" Gwen shouted.
Hearing these words, Miles suddenly became aware and looked at his phone's clock.
*Damn it, it's noon,* he thought.
"I was knocked out by someone. Fortunately, his intention wasn't to kill me... Also, before you ask, I'm perfectly fine now," Miles said.
"What? You were knocked out? Where?" Gwen asked rapid-fire questions.
"At the Red Hook port. It was midnight when I passed out," Miles replied.
"You've been out for twelve hours... That explains why you didn't pick up the phone," Gwen whispered.
Hearing this, Miles smiled and said, "I told you. I had my reasons."
Then he asked, "Anyway, why did you call me from this number?"
As expected, Miles used two phones. One was his regular phone he used in his normal life. The other was the one he used as Spider-Man, known only to Gwen.
"There's a big conflict in Sea Gate. I'm on my way, and I'm almost there. Hurry, if what they say is true, this is the work of a night bringer," Gwen said.
Hearing this, Miles quickly started webbing nearby buildings.
"I'm coming right away, don't do anything before I get there."
***
Unknown time ago, abandoned mansion in Sea Gate.
"To be honest, this mansion wasn't here in my past life," I said, looking at the ruin in front of me.
Actually, it was surprising that this mansion was still standing. After all, it was all decayed and seemed to have not been renovated for a long time. Also, the mansion was covered in trash everywhere.
As I looked at the abandoned mansion with a pensive expression on my face, the big gate of the mansion opened.
Then fully-equipped trained men came out of the mansion. As soon as they came out, people from the surrounding buildings also came out and surrounded me.
"I understand... Sea Gate is entirely owned by the Hammerhead family," I said, looking at the crowd around me.
As time passed, the crowd grew. When I looked around, I felt surrounded by an ant colony.
"How did you know I was coming?" I shouted.
"Do you think we're idiots? When we couldn't reach anyone at the port, we knew something was wrong. So, we took a little precaution," said a voice.
The owner of the voice was in the window on the upper floor of the mansion and was looking directly at me.
The owner of the voice, as far as I could guess, was a short-black haired man about 165 centimeters tall. The top of the man's head was surprisingly flat. It was as if... it resembled a hammer.
When I thought of this, I smiled with awareness.
"You must be the head of the Hammerhead family. I must say, I can easily see where this family got its name," I said.
But the man didn't care about my provocation and ordered his men.
"Kill him. I don't care how you do it," he said and walked into the mansion.
Just as the people around me were about to attack me, I shouted.
"WAIT!"
"Although I'm not a good person... anyone who doesn't want to die should leave. Once this fight starts, none of you will get out of here alive," I said.
In my past life and in this life, I caused the deaths of many good people.
The workers I killed at the port, the guards I killed at the bar. I'm sure at least one of them was a good person, but they died by my hands.
Actually, I didn't care. After all, this was the Marvel universe, where the powerful ruled. But the number of people around me was too high, and even such a massacre was excessive for me.
But people didn't listen to me. The only response I got was bullets coming towards me and people attacking me.
"Alright... I warned you," I whispered.
