Creaked
The sound of door opening resound in the empty house, Charlotte put her shoes on a rack and hang her jacket on the wall nearby shouting toward the living room.
“I’m home~!”
But she didn’t get any reply causing her to tilt her head side way, feeling a bit strange, usually when she come home from university Jay would greet her almost right away like a puppy welcoming its owner. Sometimes he would even do some whacky thing, acting like a newlywed wife and greet her with ‘Welcome home, what do you want first? Dinner? Bath? Or me?’
She sometime feel like stepping back and close the door at a sight of something like that, though he often in fact prepare a warm bathtub and hot dinner for her, in Charlotte eyes Jay look like the perfect example of a house wife leaving her with a somewhat humiliated feeling, like she lose to him somehow…
Charlotte then head into the kitchen, only to found a set of meal already prepared sitting on the table, albeit a bit colder than usual which is different from normal routine where Jay would be waiting to have a meal while talking about her day with him. She walks upstairs to look for him but when she stood in front of Jay room she frown, looking at the “Do not disturb” sign hanging on the door she cupped her chin in thought, remembering something that happened before.
The last time he put up a similar sign was when he doing some weird magic experiment and when she open the door, Charlotte was assault by a dust cloud of pink glitter causing her to de-aged and turn into a small cute loli. As it turn out, Jay was tinkering with some sort of rejuvenate elixir but a wrong combination with the herbs cause it to rapid evaporate into the air, Jay was fine due to his abilities but Charlotte who mistaken open the door was affected and transformed.
After a bit of contemplating and flash back on that night when a she saw a side of Jay that she never seen before, Charlotte decided to knock first just in case of something similar happening, who know what kind of stupid thing did that idiot made again.
And before long, the door open and Jay head pop out with a tried but proud expression on his face like he just did something amazing. Seeing the happy look on his face she question.
“What did you do this time?”
At her suspicious look Jay just grin, grabbing her hand he pull her inside, before she can ask him what he trying to do Charlotte eyes open wide in surprise at the sight in front of her.
A large plain stretch out toward the horizon, on the left side is a lush verdant forest, cut in the middle by a small river and on the right is a long chain of interconnecting peak, creating a mountain range in the middle of them is a volcano with large puff of white smoke coming out every now and then, showing that it is very active.
This is Jay have been focusing on doing for several weeks since he got the Alpha Stigma, using the eyes he learn the spatial Magic from the Ages of God inside his Gate of Babylon and from it he create his very own Reality Marble of sort acting like a Bounded Field in his room. In the end, the space he made is like a small country at the size of over 700000 square miles which he called the Sanctuary, inside it contains a variety of terrain, forest, mountain, sea, lake, desert, etc… All this need a significant amount of magic power to maintain so he draws some support from the world leyline and a couple of magic generator he bought from the system, not only that he also bought some special others thing too.
While she was admiring the view, grab her hand and give her a ball like object with red and white coloring divided in the middle by a button. As Charlotte look at the odd device with curiosity Jay explain it usage to her.
“What you are holding is call the Poke ball it is used for catching and storing Pokémon, creature with fantastic and mystical power, with a poke ball you can capture a pokemon to battle along your side as a partner. Now push the button in the middle”
Charlotte does as he said and the ball open and from it came out a blue, avian pokemon, its body and cloud-like wings are covered in fluffy, white feathers. Two long, blue plumes extend like streamers from the back of its head, a short, hooked beak and prominent cheek patches, both of which are white. Additionally, it has a pair of beady, black eyes that stare at Charlotte with curiosity.
Jay chooses Altaria which he found to be quite suitable for her and share many similarities to Charlotte personality, gentle yet firm and strong and their interaction proves his thought to be correct.
The pair of human and pokemon stare at each other before Jay gave a slight nudge to Charlotte and with and affirming nod, she reach her hand out just slightly in front of the Altaria and it also respond in kind to her action by stretching its neck and gently nudge his head against her palm.
Feeling the soft and warm feeling on her hand Charlotte face unconsciously put on a soft smile, patting her on the back Jay grin feeling relief that the Altaria didn’t reject her, all summon creature from the system will always obey his command but due to their original world setting Jay can summon either an already tamed pokemon or a wild pokemon that other can catch with a poke ball.
So after some thought, he decided to make a pokemon nature reserve inside his own home as a form of stress relief and to accomplish his childhood dream as well, so using almost all his available profit he gain from Stark industries which total to a billion he managed to get about 10000 different pokemon in there from variety of species and gender.
He also design different environments and habitat for the pokemon to help them adapt to their new living place, grass pokemon have the jungle, water pokemon ponds, lakes, rivers, etc. Each pokemon have their own place to live and there also berries tree and fruit distribute across the map, he also got some shadow to prepare food for some picky eating pokemon.
In addition he also selectively chooses pokemon that can live in harmony or at least doesn’t mind the existence of each other so as not to create too much conflict with each other and destroyed the terrain.
After tell her the mechanic and how to catch a pokemon, Charlotte face show an eager to try expression and seem ready to head off into the wood to look for her own team of pokemon but Jay stop her.
“Let have lunch first, okay? I will also teach you some more detail on pokemon battle and training for them.” Charlotte wants to protest but the grumble of her stomach beat het to it and so she blushingly makes her ways back for dinner with her new Altaria friend.

After a long dinner with lots of talking on how to treat injured pokemon, their food, habit, skill, abilities and giving her a pokedex, soon after their meal was done Charlotte set off to explore the Sanctuary land and the numerous pokemon.
Seeing she set off with Altaria into the lush jungle, Jay also go to different places to check on his own team of unique powerful pokemon. His first stop after flying in the sky a bit is the active volcano and from the lava a large imposing figure rise up and stand facing him, it height towers above him several times over and give off an immense pressure to anyone looking at it but Jay just casually raise his hand to greet.
“Hey there sleepy head, for the King of this volcano you are a rather lazy Tyranitar”
His first pokemon is a Totem Lava Tyranitar, about 5 times larger than a normal Tyranitar, bipedal, dinosaurian Pokémon with dark, grey, armored hide covering its body, due to constant submerging in an active volcano on it belly has form a sort of energy core fill with fire elemental power making its dark/rock type is change into fire/rock type. It temper become even more volatile, often going on the rampage at the slightest provocation leaving a burning trail of destruction where it pass through, though often times when he visit it just sleep all days like a log.
He sometimes have to pull this lazy lizard out for a practice battle with him to make sure it stay in shape and now that he look at it again, it seem to get a bit rounder than a few days before too.
“I told you not to eat too much lava stones; you have to eat other type of rock too for a balance diet you know? You are what you eat, so eat healthy you hear me?”
“Rwar!”
It just angrily roars in protest like a spoiled child causing Jay to knock on his head in frustration. The next stop he takes is a dark cave, devoid of light but as he walk deeper and deeper some pale light blue crystal began to show up illuminating the cave, after shooing away the swarm of Zubat he arrive at the end of the tunnel with a large dome structure.
In the middle of the room is a silver shinning pokemon, with a metallic shine on it armor, it flew forth to greet him with a happy expression, it cries sound like two pieces of metal grinding against each other but Jay already get used to it by now.
“You still looking for metal to eat huh Metagross, what a gluttony” he shake his head with a wry smile which cause the silver Metagross cries out in correction.
“Ok, ok, you’re a foodie and don’t just eat anything, ok?”
“Meta!”
This is not just any normal Metagross but a Lonsdaleite Metagross- a lucky pokemon from birth, a meteorite fell down on the mountain it inhabited wiping out the majority of other pokemon giving it the chance to take control of the area. As the mountain overlord it monopolize the special material found inside the meteorite, Lonsdaleite and prolong consumption of it has cause Metagross to change its molecular structure, significantly increase the it hardness even more than diamond and the residue radiation also boost it psychic abilities to the peak of it potential. An extremely territorial pokemon, it will attack anyone that trespass with extreme ruthlessness and will do anything to win in battle, being downright cruel at some point, especially when it comes to food, he even had to intervene a fight between it and Tyranitar over a piece of rare mineral just in case they destroyed a mountain or two.
Saying goodbye he then head toward the jungle nearby, landing in front of a large protruding rock he knock on it a few time and before long the land around him start to shake in response. On the rock that he just knock, a pair of eyes open on the sides the pokemon then stand up causing the nearby pokemon to flee away from the strong overwhelming aura.
From another direction of the jungle heavy foot step came running to his position, from above it look like a bulldozer is passing by making the nearby flying pokemon like Pidgey and Spearow to flew away in distress, and before long a giant stand in front of Jay roaring toward the sky as if announcing its mighty presence. But when he saw it Jay rubs his browns in annoyance though.
“Oi, Tyrantrum, why can’t you just leave Torterra alone and not try to fight him? Your fang can’t even leave a dent to his armor anyway.”
Tyrantrum roar as if a wise king explaining his action to a foolish commoner but Jay was not convinced by his words though.
“Even if it a good way of training you shouldn’t bother him too much you know? You should only practice your teeth when he agrees, okay?”
Using his small hand to cup his giant mouth in thought for a bit, Tyrantrum then nod before heading off elsewhere, seeing this Jay shook his head in helplessness. Tyrantrum, an ancient pokemon living 100 million years ago thanks to its gargantuan jaws, which could shred thick metal plates as if they were paper, it was invincible in the ancient world it once inhabited behaving like a king. A rampant and arrogant pokemon, it escape not long after it restoration, fleeing into an abandoned mine, due to its unstable gene when eating the rock and mineral inside Tyrantrum skin become darker and more metallic, boosting it defense to new height and changing it type to a metal/dragon pokemon.
But it too damns much of a battle maniac though, always running around and looking for a fight everywhere and especially from Jay’s other pokemon but Tyrantrum seemingly endless stamina and infinite battle spirit make them to avoid him in their own accord with Tyranitar hiding in its lava pool, Metagross hiding in the maze like tunnel.
The only one that doesn’t mind it that much is the giant Torterra next to him, always acting like a wise elder or a doting elder brother, with its thick hard shell Tyrantrum can sharping his teeth all he like and it won’t even leave a scratch. During its evolution, Torterra came into contact with radioactive waste from the nearby nuclear energy plan causing it to mutate and grow past normal Torterra size, growing into a small mountain (150 feet/45 meters in height, 200 feet/60 meter width) a forest form on it back with some small Pokémon occasionally gather on its unmoving back to begin building their nests. A very gentle and friendly pokemon, it sometime move in search of a water source or more fertile land giving the illusion of a moving forest but typically remain immobile.
After feeding Torterra with some of the berries he bought, Jay flew up to ones of the snowy mountain and enters a cliff side cave and before he can even walk past a dozen steps, Jay feel a presence on top of him. Pulling out a flash light he point it on top of his head causing the pokemon to drop down on him, if he saw this a few weeks before he would be attacking it while shouting like in a horror movie but he just hug it as if natural now.
“Hey now Noivern! I just take a bath don’t push me down to the ground okay?”
Noivern let go of him and flew around while making happy noises that echo throughout the cave. Noivern, a large, draconic Pokémon that resembles a bat, primarily black with a purple underbelly and blue-green wing membranes and his Noivern is much stronger than normal due to the thick dragon blood running through it vein, boost all it abilities, it is extremely combative toward anything that wanders too close to its cave and flies through even the darkest nights using ultrasonic waves it emits from its ears. Noivern is also known to be cruel, ruthlessly tormenting enemies that cannot see in the dark using ultrasonic waves and its fangs to finish off enemies. This pokemon have a violent temper, but becomes tame if approached with its favorite ripe fruit.
He is also the only one that Tyrantrum don’t want to fight with cause when fighting Noivern would just flies around while blasting him with sonic sound waves, confusing and making him mad but none of Tyrantrum hit ever land so there was nothing he gain aside from a through beating, so for the first time he retreat which make Jay even more proud of Noivern.
While he can have them live inside the poke ball but Jay prefer just leaving them in their natural habitat and come play and train with them every now and then, deepening their bond.
After some playing, he leave Noivern with some rare berries before he go looking for Charlotte to check up on how she doing and it did take him very long as from above he saw her laying in a plain panting with Altaria next to her.
“You seem tired”
“Yeah, a bit, being chase by a bunch of Beedrill was not easy”
According to her when she was trying to catch a Butterfree, she accidentally ran into a Beedrill that attack her thinking that she want to catch him, while defeating one Beedrill is easy, a swarm of Beedrill is a different story. After letting she rest a bit more, Jay princess carry her back with Altaria flying along.
That night Charlotte seems to have a nightmare as she murmured ‘Beedrill’ causing Jay to have a wry smile.
