On another side of the Helicarrier, Thor is running toward the detention section only to finds Loki nonchalantly escaping from his cell.

"NO!" Thor yelled angrily before charging at his brother. Loki walks up to him and crouch down as if welcoming him, Thor only pass through the false Loki, it then dissipates into nothingness.

The real Loki then comes out from behind the cell door, which closes on Thor locking him up. Looking at his surprised and angered brother, Loki smiles.

"Are you ever not going to fall for that?" He mocked at the caged Thor.

In the lower Equipment room of the Helicarrier.

Barton walks alone down the catwalk.

In a lightning fast move, Barton nocks an arrow, and points it at Natasha sneaking up . She knock his bow bow aside with a kick then a hand-to-hand fight ensues.

Natasha use the wall to jump her way around Barton, knocking Barton to to the side, but he pulls out a knife slashing at her.

Back to the Helicarrier detention room.

Thor, in a fit of anger, slam Mjolnir onto the glass cell but to his surprise, the cell door only leave some Crack and violently shake the entire room. Loki stands there in caution, as if he was guarding his actions but then relaxed.

Loki then smiles while walking over to the Control panel.

"The humans think us immortal. Should we test that?"

Suddenly, his goon soldier standing guard behind falls down like a tree.

Agent Coulson suddenly appeared standing there, holding the Phase 2 Weapon Prototype.

"Move away, please."he said, aiming at the tricksters god.

Loki moves away from the switch, holding his hands up in the air.

"You like this? We started working on the prototype after you sent the Destroyer. Even though we didn't manage to get the suit, the Research guy still make something pretty decent, I don't know what it does. Do you wanna find out?"

Barton and Natasha continue attacking each other. Natasha kick toward Barton's face. Feeling that, Barton takes a swing at her, but she grabs his arm twisting it, ge withered in pain.

Using his other arm, he tosses the knife over and try to slash at Natasha. She dodges every move, but finds herself in a lock hold with him. As he forces the knife down, she bite down on his wrist causing Barton lets go of the knife.

Natasha then jump up, warp her legs around his neck, flip him over and choke hold him slamming his head into a pipes rail. Barton goes down, hard. He looks up her, almost coming to his real senses.

" Natasha..." he muttered half conscious and half dreaming.

Natasha coldly look at him before knifes hand him for good measure, knocking Barton is out.

"Agent Coulson is down." Fury speak grimly.

Agent Hill is being treated for a gash on her head, listens on her headset, stood up in surprise.

"Paramedics are on their way."

"They're already here." Fury deadpan voice out.

On the Helicarrier port, Steve and Tony listen in as well.

Silent fell on the radio.

Fury gather Tony and Steve here with Jay, Charlotte and Banner joining him. Everyone sit there as if in a daze they all have a dumb, shock look on their devastated face.

" These was in Coulson jacket. Guess he never did get you to sign them. "

Fury throw Coulson's Captains America trading card on the tabke toward Steve, he pick up the blood stained cards.

"We're dead in the air up here. Our communications, location of the cube,Thor. I got nothing for you.Lost my one good eye. Maybe I had that coming." Fury lamment.

He then continued.

"Yes, we were going to build an arsenal with the Tesseract. I never put all my chips on that number though, because I was playing something even riskier.There was an idea, Stark knows this, called The Avengers Initiative . The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, see if they could become something more. See if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could. Phil Coulson died still believing in that idea, in heroes."

Tony gets up and walks off, not wanting to hear it anymore.

"Well, it's an old notions anyway." Fury slightly shrugged, glancing at Jay.

Jay expressions is still the same though, if he hadn't know of projects TAHITI and Coulson resurrection later on in the Agents of SHIELD series maybe he would have been be sway by Fury words.

Too bad for Fury though as he was a traverser and knew of the future.

Coulson death was avoidable though, Jay had more than enough power to spare but he didn't.

It's not that he want Coulson to die once for revenge cause that one time where he interrupted him and Charlotte, not at all!

But because Coulson death was a vital component for the Avenger to united and work together as a team.

So his face still calm as if unfazed by Coulson death,which somewhat disappointed Fury at a chance to pull in a big gun for the team.

On top of Stark tower.

Selvig works around the CMS device that has already been set upon the rooftop of Tony's tower.

After Steve leave the room to look for Tony , Jay stand up preparing to go to Stark tower but just before he leave Jay stand next to Fury looking at the view down below.

“Those cards, they were in Coulson's locker, not in his jacket.”

His words didn’t shock Fury much as he already guess Jay would have already know about the truth , so he turn to face Jay .

“So what are you gonna do Mr.Jay ?” He shrugged walking away .

“Don’t know. But God Slayer have a nice ring to it doesn’t it ?”
