The spy, led by the various attacks of the squad, found himself near a subsidiary building of the base. His senses screamed at him to get as far away as possible, feeling the danger that lay within. Desperately trying to use his teleportation ability to escape, he found it had failed him. Panic set in as he began to run, knowing that multiple enemies were hot on his heels.
Suddenly, the teleporter felt himself lifted into the air, his feet no longer touching the ground. He was floating, being dragged towards the ominous building, his powers still inexplicably unresponsive. Finally, he came face-to-face with the one and only Thanos. Fear washed over him.
The squad arrived shortly after, with the invisible Dave reappearing, chuckling. "The drugs finally kicked in, boss." Thanos nodded at Dave, acknowledging a job well done. The rest of the team surrounded the captive, who defiantly stared back at the titan with dark eyes and clenched teeth.
"Either you tell me who sent you, or I will find it myself."
Thanos threatened, his gaze cold and unyielding. "And trust me, my convincing methods can be very... crude." The teleporter remained silent, struggling against the psychokinetic hold that bound him.

Dave volunteered to perform the interrogation, an expectant look in his eyes. Frank, however, told him to shut up, reminding him that this was no joke and that Dave's inexperience could lead to the captive's inadvertent death. Frank then offered to conduct the interrogation himself, and Thanos agreed.
Unbeknownst to everyone, Thanos had already read the mind of the captive. He had kept his mind-reading ability a secret, considering it a valuable trump card. Even the Maximoff siblings were unaware of this power. Thanos mulled over the information he'd gleaned from the prisoner's thoughts.
"The Inhumans... This is going to be complicated."
His gaze fell on the small Chloe standing next to him, his expression unreadable. Chloe, oblivious to Thanos's thoughts, simply smiled in response and moved closer to him. The intel he had obtained from the prisoner provided a deeper understanding of the world and the consequences his actions had wrought.
The voice in Thanos's head chimed in, 'That's a big-ass butterfly, don't you think?' It chuckled before adding, 'We have to get rid of it, and fast.' Thanos listened to his long-time friend and internally agreed. 'Indeed, this variable is too unpredictable for my plans.'
As Thanos contemplated how to deal with the Inhumans without resorting to wholesale slaughter, the gears in his mind rapidly turned, spurred on by the internal monologue of the voice within. He knew that he needed to find a solution that would maintain the delicate balance of power and control without drawing unwanted attention to his own machinations.
