Battle Won

The air was tense as Thanos's team departed Mexico, their mission completed. Bruce Banner, now fast asleep and entirely unaware of the events that had transpired, had been left in a safe location. The group boarded a high-tech aircraft, the hum of its engines barely audible as it cut through the night sky. Inside, the team members relaxed, their bodies bearing the marks of their recent battle with the Hulk.

Frank, a man of formidable stature and commanding presence, gazed pensively at the greenish fluid contained within several vials. The samples they had collected from the unconscious Banner held the potential to unlock untold power, but at what cost?

Thanos, ever observant, addressed Frank's unspoken concerns. "The Intel division should have gotten the rest of the 'samples' in that university, yet I feel doubt just by looking at you. What's the matter?" The Mad Titan's voice was casual yet commanding, his eyes flicking over the group of superpowered beings around him.

Frank hesitated before answering. "You're right. I have no doubt that the Genetics department will be able to make something useful out of this. But I can't shake the feeling that the person injected with this… might either become uncontrollable or not live for very long." He turned away from the tubes, surveying his team. A sleeping red-haired woman clutched her sheathed sword, while a petite blonde stared morbidly at the titan. The others seemed more at ease, engrossed in a game of cards.

Thanos considered Frank's words, a silent debate raging within his mind. A voice in his head argued, "Why do you want to expand the mini fridge? The concept of it is to be small and compact." Thanos retorted, "You know exactly why I want to do that. My body grows stronger, and so does my thirst. I need more, even if it means buying a larger fridge." The voice relented, "So what, you want to put a big-ass fridge in your office? Hah, that's ridiculous! I love this idea!"

The discussion took a turn when the voice suggested, "Why don't we steal some Pym Particles to miniaturize the fridges instead?" Thanos fell silent, wondering why he hadn't considered that option. However, his lust for milk couldn't cloud his judgment. He knew that attacking a Hank Pym family base would be too risky, given the Ant-Man's impact on the Avengers' timeline. The Titan's mind was a chaotic battleground, constantly stimulated by the banter between the two entities within.

Back in the aircraft, the team members continued to unwind. The red-haired woman's breaths were slow and even, her sword nestled securely in her embrace. The blonde woman's gaze remained fixated on Thanos, her eyes flickering with an unspoken challenge. The rest of the group played cards, laughter and friendly taunts filling the cabin.

The aircraft sliced through the sky, the drone of its engines melding with the chatter of its occupants. Unbeknownst to them, they were being watched. Far below, a figure in a sleek, black suit blended with the shadows, was tracking their movements.
