Magnus laughed at the foolishness of the parasite. In its entire life it never imagined something like this to happen. When the parasite invaded the very small Magnus brain it caused a chain reaction. The root started to absorb Qi from his mother but his mother isn't that great of a cultivator so the root started to absorb Qi from the parasite's body.

Every creature has a Qi in their body. When the Qi of a creature completely depleted the creature became defenseless against various situations.

The same thing happened to the Parasite as it got greedy. When Magnus's aunt proposed the idea of removing the baby it might've saved the mother but Magnus's mother is a very strong minded lady. She withstood the pressure for 2 months and in that time Magnus's brain and the parasite became a single thing. All its memory transferred to Magnus increasing Magnus's brains computational ability to maximum.

The human brain has a very high level of computation power. But humans can't always use them. But the resulting mutations lead Magnus's brain's computational power limit to be broken and now he can use all of them. Not only that but there's another feature that is unlocked. The gold rank cultivation root and the brain became a single thing. So Magnus can now cultivate in a regular way just directly absorbing Qi with his brain.

Magnus became cheerful with all the upgrades but he soon became worried. Because he promised himself that he will remain by his dad until his dad died. So as of right now Magnus can't do that because of the way he is.

"I need to find a way so that my father only thinks about me not my mother. Because I don't want to see him in despair while thinking about her."

As Magnus became worried he quickly started to think of a way, soon enough his super brain helped him find a way.

"How about I shut my create a separate persona who will live with my father while I remain in the background for at least age 10. That way I can spend that time with him and slowly at age 10 I will Marge with the other persona. I can also give myself a long time to digest all the Parasites memory."

With this Magnus went to sleep while Magnus 0.5 took control.

Magnus only left two orders in his other personas deep subconsciousness. One is that he will notify Magnus when the 10th birthday is approaching another is that he will notify him when Magnus is in an emergency situation.

Thus Magnus remained asleep for more than 10 years.

Magnus sits beside his father as he starts crying. There's only a week left before his birthday. But he never thought of something like this would happen.

After that Magnus stood up and looked at the burning land. In his eyes there's only grief. He wanted to kill the people who had committed the crime but on second thought it looks like the people who did that are all dead. All the elders died, man in white also died. Sun Sect is probably the one who's responsible for this but he's not powerful enough to destroy the Sun Sect. It might take a long time to destroy such a behemoth sect. He's only at level 1 while the sect leader is probably at level 59.

All of a sudden he remembered something and started inspecting his body. There's a cluster of energy inside his body.

He quickly checked the energy and when he realised that it's harmless he started absorbing them in his body.

The warm feelings of the energy started to be absorbed by his brain and then transferred to his body. Qi Awakening is a period where Humans try to feel Qi in his surroundings. They then absorb them in a small amount with their roots inside they're body. Also this stage has another meaning. The Qi awakens the Qi inside the body or feel the inner Qi.

Magnus is already awakened his inner Qi senses. So he can easily feel the cluster. But even so at this level Magnus can't absorb all of them and increase his body's strength.

" The way it's going it may take at least level 40 to completely absorb them. But I guess it's a good thing. With this much energy I can easily break through most of the level. But the most important thing is the memory of this Qi. "

Magnus tap inside the Qi cluster with his brain wave and started reading the memory.

Then everything is pretty much easy to understand. Sun Sect sent an elder who also got killed.

Things remain like this for a long time until the tournament.

" Then why the hell Ryder participated in the fight. Oh never mind...."

The reason for Ryder's participation is that Ryder and his master didn't know about the Sun Sect. So Sun Sect held the tournament invited lots of Sect saying that man in white is actually a space citizen.

Resulting all the people got interested. This world's is a cage and they know about this clearly that in order to go out side they need outside help.

"But is this what you call asking for help?." Magnus questioned.

"The rest is pretty much I can deduce. Ryder join the fight but when his master is going to see him at the final he was ambushed by Sun Sect members. His master probably killed every single one of them. But he got late. One of the Sun Sect elder killed Ryder because he probably learnt that their negotiations is a failure so he tried to steal what ever ability he can get from Ryder. Resulting the destruction. And the ability he got out of him is just a cluster of energy and Face swapping technique."

"Ha so much for this support technique." Magnus lamented.

Magnus set down on the cold floor and started to think the next step. Since he came out of sleep he won't be sleeping again for a long time. This time he needed to improve his cultivation. The cluster will help him solve that problem. Now the most important thing is the fire storm outside.
