The Pascal city is a small city consisting of 500 citizens. The main income they earn by selling the crops they harvest every year before the winter season. Their harvested crops are sold in the city of Terra. This city is connected with a small town from a distance of about 50 miles. Since the trade between the Kazam and other cities of the west is blocked Pascal Village has fallen into a little below the poverty line. As a result recently they don't see any new visitors or merchants passing by their village. Once there was a small inn in the village now that the inn is closed.

As Magnus and Anna walked through the streets of the village, many people noticed them and started staring at them. The little kids who were playing in the street ran away from them and many started to stare at them like they're not welcome here.

Magnus didn't care about them as they walked past them and stopped in front of a small house with a wooden roof. The house is very old looking as it has not been taken care of for a long time. There are plants growing on the roof and the wall is moss covered. There are broken windows. The courtyard is filled with grass indicating that it's been a long time since anyone mowed them. As a simple analysis would tell you that this man Edward is actually a single man who don't take care of his house. That's what regular people who first see this house will think about Edward. Even Anna close in on Magnus and spoke with a faint voice, "Are you sure this place is Okey to live in?"

But in Magnus's eyes he knew that he came to the right place. The reason is simple. This house will be extremely beautiful if this house is cleaned or taken proper care. There are gardens in the courtyard which is now turn into a bush. There are decorated paint in the walls and the roof. This are all signs indicate that this place is once a beautiful house when it's in right order but people who once took care of it is no more.

Magnus doesn't want to pry into this matter anymore since it's not necessary for him to know about a random man's life story. If he tells him it's different but asking about it to him is disrespectful sometimes. Edward step forward and opened the door. He then put down the cloth bag that Magnus was carrying inside and spoke to them, "Welcome to my house, Robert and Susan. Although it's not much but I hope you enjoy your stay for the night." He opened his arm wide and welcomed the them inside.

The inside of the house is not big. There are a lot of the furniture inside making it looks like a cramped up place but it was surprisingly clean. There are no garbage inside also everything is well polished as there are no dust one the furniture. It made you rethink your evaluation on Edward immediately. Edward took their beg to the upstairs where there are three rooms. One of the rooms is locked with a big lock. Edward took them to another room with a small bed inside. "This is your room. Stay here for now and get rest. I will go prepare dinner."

Saying that Edward left them alone and returned to the living room.

After Edward left Kuudere Anna immediately asked him, "So what do you think of Edward? Is he planning something?"

Anna is shocked by the sudden turn of event. But before she could say anything Magnus put his finger on her mouth and winked at her. Immediately Tsundere Anna took over and performed her Tsundere task by becoming all red. "Idiot. Calling your sweet wife a sharp tone."

After then both of them changed their clothes and lies down on the bed. They didn't talk much in the bed anymore just some small fake stuff Magnus would say and Anna would also repeat the same as if indicating their journey through the south. But in the mind of Anna earlier incident is still bugging her.

Previously when they're traveling Magnus taught her some sign language. One of the most important sign that she learned is to act naturally and when he winked at her. Also stop taking when he put his finger on her mouth or his mouth. She also learned some other signs such as attack now, stop, follow me, hide etc. It's not like Anna can't fight. She actually is a good cultvator as Magnus fought with her as a training to see how strong she is. As a level 13 she is pretty good and can defeat a level 17 if she wants to. But he still taught her this incase of emergency.

Right now Anna is confused as why Magnus stopped her and ordered to act naturally. Magnus's behaviour sometime takes a complete 180° without any warning. This made her quite interested in him as she now wants to learn more about him. A deep urge suddenly surfaced inside all the Anna's, even the dormant ones who still didn't show up in front of him started to get interested on him.

A few hours later Edward knocked on the door. "Robert take your wife and come downstairs. Dinner's ready."

"Yes. We are coming. Oh and Thank you."

"Don't worry brother. Please do hurry before the food gets cold."

In the dinner table there are multiple items are put together with a very gentle way. There are duck fry, Rice, Light soup, and salad etc. It's not a fancy gorgeous food but it can fulfill three people easily. The aroma of the delicious food reached in their nose as both of them started to feel hungry. They quickly started to dig in.

The foods teste is quite good. It's way better than what Magnus has been eating for these days. The amount of salt is perfect. After taking a few bites Magnus realised that he's really eating garbage all this day. On the other hand Anna is also eating the food but she's taking it slowly so that she can maintain her acting. Time to time Magnus looked at Anna and he even helped her sometime by passing food to her, as if he's a caring husband.

Magnus also surprised about something else is that Shy Anna has been surfaced. He knows about her existence but did really hoped to see her because she is shy. The type dere she belongs is called Dandere.

Edward on the other hand asking them various small questions like how is it being in south and stuff which Magnus cleverly answered. He also asked him like how there's the entire west sky was filled with Dark Red a couple of days ego which Magnus also cleverly avoided by saying yes is it also visible from here how mysterious.

Magnus also asked him like how is the business here and why this village is name as Pascal Village. Which interestingly has a background. Pascal Village is once names after a guys who helped the villagers with something. At that time a lot of people were dying because of a certain illness which that man solved resulting in the entire village still remembering him and naymed the village as his name.

Soon the dinner came to an end. Magnus helped Anna to get to the room and after that he decided to head down a little. In the downstairs Edward is cleaning the table. Magnus looked at the sink as it's already been cleaned. Edward noticed Magnus and he asked, "Brother. Care to join for a drink?"

"If it's a little than it's okay. Since I need to be sobered for my journey tomorrow."

"Of course", saying that Edward opened his cupboard to bring out a small bottle of wine. The bottle looks like one of the vintage wine that has been preserved for a long time.

Edward bent forward and poured down two glass. With a simple cheers they both enjoyed the fine teste if wine.

As they are enjoying the fine wine Edward asked Magnus, "Brother want to listen to my story?"
