"Tell me, where did you come from?"

"Eeh? I'm just a wandering adventurer. I came here since this little girl makes a request."

"Then, if you're just a wandering adventurer, then how did you defeat all of the warriors Razorback clan we assigned here?!"

"Mister... Silvia... request..."

Looks like a request. Let's ask her.

"A request?"

"Please... Save.. Silvia... Family..."

"Eh??"

Another troublesome request appears.

"Please... Mister... *sob*"

She's pleading while crying. I'm don't prefer little girls, but if she does that with that face, it makes me resign my resolve not to meddle into other people's affairs.

"Okay okay. I'll try to save your family. But if things gets worse, I'll escape with you in tow. Is it alright?"

"......*nods*"

She nods as confirmation.

"Then the deal is set."

After I say that, her face returns some of its color. It must be because I accepted her request.

"Then guide me where your family was held captive."

She points her right hands towards a group of bushes. We walked a straight line for 2 hours until we discovered a village. We climbed a tree sneakily to see what is happening inside the village. There we saw a cage that contains two adult wolves and 3 child wolves. All of them were unconscious. Then Silvia points towards the cage.

"Mama..... Papa..... *sniff*... Brother... Sister.... cage... *sniff*"

It looks like its her family that's inside the cage. I surveyed the area. I found out that there is a group of werewolves hiding inside the houses. It looks like they are anticipating our arrival.

"Mama! Papa! Silvia... save... family!"

Then she hastily comes down the tree. She runs toward the cage without any concern of her surroundings.

"Wait!"

Damn it! The effects of Accelerate still lingers within my body. I couldn't use it again to chase her!

Before she could reach the cage, 6 wolves surrounded her. On their backs were straightened fur that looks like knives.

"Must be Razorback Werewolves."

One of them started to speak.

"Oh little Silver, it looks like you feel into our trap. Please don't resist any further or else we'll gonna punish your family."

"... No! Please... free... Silvia... Family!"

"That can't be done. You know that we need you to help us take revenge from those humans, right?"

"... No! Please... kill... no.. more!"

"Its not you who will decide when we'll stop! It is us to tell when we'll stop!"

One of the wolves said to Silvia. It looks like that wolf has some issues against humans.

Well, its time for me to move.

"Regrowth"

While Restoration is used on inanimate objects, Regrowth is a spell used to living objects. It hastens the speed of regeneration, with the compensation of hunger of the object being regenerated. Because the cells that heals the body parts hastens their work, it also hastens their need of energy that comes from food. I tried to conserve this spell since there is no available source of food inside the forest. Since I located a village, they should hold some stock of food around.

After using Regrowth, I used Acceleration to reach the cage. All of the wolves were surprised because I emerge out of thin air in their point of view. After I reached Silvia's side, the Acceleration magic's duration was over.

"Who are you? Well, it doesn't matter who you are. As long as you're on our way, we'll never hesitate to kill you! Razorback Clan, attack him!"

The one who said that was the one with hatred on humans. All of them curled like an armadillo while rolling. The knives behind them ruptures the land they roll on. Their backs are really sharp to do that. I don't want to use it this time since no one will carry me to safety.

"Foresight!"

I used foresight. By using it, I could 5 seconds into the future. The compensation.... is severe headache because of information overload. I could only use this for 15 minutes. If I use it more than that, I'll lose consciousness.

"Two rolls from your back and your front."

That is what my foresight vision gave me. Two of the simultaneously tried to attack me from front and behind. If I try to retaliate here, Silvia might caught up in the fight so I grabbed her body and tried to dodge them by rolling to the side. I carried her by my right arm and my body.

"6 rolls side by side and rolls to your front."

Another foresight appears. It looks like they planned to use a coordinated attack. Before they could reach me, I grabbed the knife from my bag. I started to speak.

"Release. Durandal."

Since MIDAS permits me to use Legendary Class Sword-type Durandal, I released all of the spells that binds it. Durandal is known as the Unbreakable Sword. Other than being unbreakable, it doesn't hold any properties, making it only ranked as Legendary class. It has one sharp edge and one blunt edge, different from normal swords that has both sharp edges. Well, its good since I don't want to use the sharp edge anyways.

"Try to block this!"

One of the rolling wolves said towards me. As I hold Silvia in my right arm and Durandal at my left arm, I slashed the incoming attack horizontally from left to right by using the blunt of the sword. In just a moment, all of them were thrown towards a house in the right. All of them lost their consciousness.

As I walked towards the cage with my foresight still active, I received a warning.

"From the top of right house, a penetrating light attacks you."

I hastily used Durandal to reflect the light. Since it could act as a mirror, with its unbreakable properties, it could also be described as an unbreakable shield.

"Very well, to think someone could reflect Brynhildr's light attack, I'm impressed with the weapon you have there."

The assailant started to speak. He has a long black hair with a long decorated coat. He looks like the chief of the Pitchblack werewolves just as described on the data.

"Well, its not that impressive like the one you have there. Wanna trade?"

"Hahaha! Surely you jest. That weapon would be a piece of junk if compared to this weapon."

He continued.

"Tell me, where did you come from?"

"Eeh? I'm just a wandering adventurer. I came here since this little girl makes a request."

"Then, if you're just a wandering adventurer, then how did you defeat all of the warriors Razorback clan we assigned here?!"

"I'm just lucky they're stupid for underestimating me."

"Don't say something foolish. If you think that you could fool me with that line is something unforgivable. Those six were known for not underestimating their enemies. Tell me, for what reason did you came here? If it is because of Brynhildr and Silver, i'll let you be my opponent."

It looks like he's sharp witted. Well, I don't have any reason not to say what my mission is since I was busted. My head will collapse after ten minutes so I need to focus.

"If that was the case?"

As I say that line, he unleashed a light from the sword. Since I could see its trajectory because of foresight, I could easily dodge it.

"Then how about this?!"

He released an arc of black light. I feel an ominous aura from it so I didn't try to block it. I grabbed Silvia who's grabbing the back my clothes all this time because of fear. I checked out the place where it struck. Around that place, black smoke rises to the air.

"Decay?!"

So it has an ability to decay things.

"Hmmm.. It looks like you're knowledgeable about these things. How about this?"

He points the sword towards me.

"Red light penetrates your body."

Within a split second, a ray of red light emerged from the tip of the sword. It penetrates its way towards me. I tried to dodge to the right but my left arm was penetrated by laser.

"*Ugh*"

"It looks like you have the ability to perceive the future, but your body couldn't keep up with it."

Damn, he's good for analyzing something that even those Razorback werewolves cannot understand. I need to fight him on my top performance. It looks like escape is my only option for now.

"Silvia, change of plans. Let's escape. I'll promise that we'll get your family back."

"......O-okay."

It looks like she understands our situation.

"Then hold into my hand."

She holds my hand. I started to chant a spell.

"Line of time, line of space. Weave a door that could return my time."

"Time Door"

As I set the Time Door, the chief exclaimed.

"As If I'll let you escape!"

"Brynhildr Second form - Nullifying Light!"

Before that light could reach the door, we jumped towards the other side of the door.
