THE MORTAL REALM

Part: 1

The first time we discovered the existence of the Mortal Realm we were utterly shock, since in the Heaven Realm is so big that we considered it to be flat and we don't have days as it was always nothing but a twilight as only star glittering very far away.

But it is different in the Mortal Realm, we saw a big sphere made out of earth and water as the gravity holds them together. It was protected with an atmosphere that allows life forms to lived as the freezing dark space surrounded it. And the only the source of light is the 4 satellites that revolving around the giant sphere made of earth and water and a big ball of fire, far away from it.

Humans were the biggest population in the Mortal Realm as they relying not to individual power but their huge numbers as they nearly reaching 10 billion and created thousands of kingdoms and empires.

And they were the greediest of all the mortals.

Part: 2

As we opened a portal through the Mortal Realm, we came out outside as we see a Sphere of earth and water in the void of space as we the 'First Pairs' looked upon down below.

We then descended like meteors and hundreds of us scattered everywhere in a different directions as we carried our otherworldly different forms, curious and excited.

Civilizations everywhere some lived on the caves, some lived in the forest, some lived in the water, some lived in grass planes and some lived in the harshest lands.

Different face and different races, we have explored them all but none of them are as strong as us.

We even discovered God Eaters but as we tried to fight them out of fear and anger we realized, we realized something....

Their breath can only blown up a pieces of land but the creatures back home can blown up a 10 miles radius without leaving any trail. Using their breath attack as it leaves nothingness to their wakes.

They can only have one element out of the five elements they have which are fire, earth, water, darkness, light.

They were weak, that’s what we thought.

So we decided to ignore them and they also feared us as they used to be the most powerful being in the Mortal Realm but in front of us they were just children bumping into a solid wall.

Back home, if it wasn't for the fact that we have the ability to create life by the power of <> you can't tell us apart.

For if we can use <> then the God Eaters can use <> and this power comes with different forms.

Their powers were weird and mysterious as it materialized into different weapons they called <>.

It was a power we unable to copy.

A/N:You will found out the God Eaters at the later chapter in the Uncle's POV I try not to be spoiler.

We watched the mortals on how they've behave, how they're weak, their personality and so on. But we didn't do anything as we are still cautious around them.

And a time goes by, as we observed the mortals we discovered that none of them knew each other, since the Mortal Realm was still young and races was still evolving

The world is full of monsters, it's in the waters, it's in the air, it's in the forest. It's in the land.

Yes, it's everywhere.

We understand them. The fear of the unknown and didn't dared to ventured long distances. We also suffer the same way when we were still ignorant of whom we are.

We came to realize the helplessness of the mortals so we decided to build portals to connect them to one another so they can explore new places and new races, meeting new faces.

We returned home and gathered materials for the portal since there are some components needed to make the portal that doesn't exist in the Mortal Realm as we bring it to their world and was already readymade.

The mortals was mystified for they didn't know or learn magic back then, and see altars suddenly appeared in their territories with a four sided pyramid shaped with a steps on each side and the flat tip of the pyramid has a big floating circular white and black swirling thing which is the portals as a place to worshipped.

We were stupefied of course. Instead of getting closer to it and meet the other races and new civilizations, they choose to worshipped it or they're still unable to comprehend our gift.

Only our creations can worshipped us as we commanded them so. But these mortals worshipped us voluntarily without giving them orders and no strings attached in them.

We saw in their eyes while they seeing the pyramids. Longing As if in their entire life deep inside in them, they were searching for something, someone, a parents, a guardian, a teacher, a God.

They need a God that is what we thought. So we finally showed ourselves with our bodies radiantly glowing, as we floating up in air with our Godly forms.

Some of the 'First Pairs' were humanoid with wings of light. A big turtle that biggest as a mountain. And a 1 meter bird with body that was made of fire. A humanoid with a pair of jet black horns in its foreheads as it curve upward and an eyes colour of blood. There is also a small white ball of light that radiates a warm atmosphere. Even lion-like creature but with its mane was made of crimson flame. Some even has a form of a big tree as it reached up to the sky and many more.

But one thing we have resemblance to each other is that we produced a radiant light within us. A divine power that is what we called it, for this power is more mysterious and makes miracles that defies logic and only the citizens of the Heavens Realm has it.

Out of the thousands 'First Pairs' 300 of us joined the expedition group and the rest remained in the Heavens Realm fearing dangers will bring upon them.

The one who joined the expedition was one who was bored and other was for excitement and thrilled.

By the way I choose excitement.

We showed ourselves to them, only one of each appeared at the 100 portals that we built throughout the Mortal Realm.

We only built 100 portals for the 100 races that have already been starting building their civilizations.

100 showed themselves with their godlike forms.

But me who I killed my pair and the rest of us just watched the dumbfounded mortals.

Imagine....While hundreds of millions of mortals around the Mortal Realm worshipped the pyramids, then suddenly a bright blinding light appeared at the top of the pyramid.

Part: 3

《Somewhere in the forest》

Humanoid creatures resembles to different kinds of animals has been living in the vast forest for generations. They were curious at the pyramid that suddenly appeared out of nowhere and choose to settled around it since predators that hunted them for as long as they remembered was afraid to go near the pyramid.

They can now live peacefully within the range of the effect of the pyramid without alerting themselves of the different kinds of dangerous monsters around them.

Suddenly a blindingly bright light appeared at the top of the pyramid, they were afraid of course with a mixed with curiosity since they didn't step or even get closer in it because of fearing of losing its effects.

The light was so bright it engulfed the whole settlement around the pyramid.

The humanoid animals then began to get out of their homes as they're looking up at the bright light at the top of the pyramid.

The more they are looking the more they're getting used at the light as they see a silhouette figure of a lion with a crimson flaming mane was the one giving of the bright light.

《Somewhere also in the forest》

There was a race that formed four different clans that live in the forest who were at war with one another, as they hated each other for being having different skin colour and having different beliefs.

The Northern territory, their skin colour is milky white and has a blonde hair and golden eyes. They believe the sun as a god and the giver of life and they looked down upon the other three clans as they thinking themselves as a superior to them.

The Southern territory, their skin colour is silky dark and have a black hair and red eyes, they revered the darkness, because they believe their own shadows was given to them by god as a protection to them.

The Western territory, their skin colour is silky light green and has a brown hair; they believe a giant tree is a giver of life by dropping its big fruits on the ground and as the fruit decayed the seed was left. Then the seed as the time passes becomes dry and beginning to crack and came out the first of their species.

The Eastern territory, their skin colour is the same as the North but their hair is pure silver, they revered the moon and the stars as they thinking the moon as their goddess and the stars is their loved ones who already dead as they watch their descendants.

The one thing they have common is that their ears is rather pointy and their bodies were slim,  aside from males as they have slightly muscular and their faces was delicate and beautiful.

They always have small skirmishes as they engaged in battles, fighting for their beliefs.

Their territories is opposite at one another and formed a square formation where each points is their base.

Suddenly out of nowhere a pyramid appeared at the centre of the formation.

Each of the clans believed it was their god's gift it to them so they can smitten the other clans for being depicted him on other forms.

Since the pyramid is in the centre edge of their territories and has rights to claim it on their own they didn't aggressively claim it for fearing the three clans will joined forces and attack the one who will claim it.

At first the four clans proposed diplomatic talks to their leaders and agreed that the pyramid can be shared since the four sides of the pyramid is facing to their territories and began to worship it and made offerings.

After many years of depute and war, peace has now accomplished as their lives is revolting to the pyramid.

The Northern clan made a offerings ranging from gold, silver and precious gems at the portal at the top of the pyramid, thinking it's a gate way to their god and be pleased of their offerings.

The Southern clan made offerings by sacrificing a beautiful virgin woman in the portal every year as they thinking their god will have them as wives.

The Western clan made an offerings to the portal by giving a bowls of different kinds of verity of seeds as they are thinking their god will blessed them and brings the seeds that was blessed back to be planted.

The Eastern clan made offerings by giving the portal their accumulated knowledge throughout their history that was made into books, thinking their god will be happy and entertain.

But the years of peace didn't last long.

The Northern clan's precious gold, silver and gems have run out throughout their hundred years of offering, so they take action by stealing from the other clans.

The Southern clan's virgin also ran out (lol) because of throughout the years of sacrificing the parents of the will be chosen sacrifice was now afraid to be part of their daughters and made them married early to the man of their daughter's choosing.

So the elders of the clan take actions and abduct virgin women to the other clans.

The Western clan think that their offerings of seeds are not enough for they didn't get any of their God's blessed seeds. And the fact that their Forrest soon will run out of trees with the hundred years of cutting for the houses and buildings that they build the near the pyramid as they choose to move their entire clan near the pyramid.

If trees will continue to run out, what will they offer to their god since they get seeds from the fruits of the trees? The people began to panic, and then they come up with a solution. War.

The Eastern clan think that the books they offered to the portal is still not enough as they didn't get a response to their god, so they attempt to steal the other clans knowledge as they thinking they didn't need of it.

The four clans is now covered in tension, they didn't know what the others were planning nor they have a time to do so as they are busy planning their own scheme.

Calm before the storm.

The first one to move is the Northern clan; they ordered their 'Secret army' that mingled with the ordinary citizens to infiltrate the other clan’s treasury.

The Southern clan already knows the existence of the secret army of the Northern clan and the Northern clan already realized this.

The Southern clan notice the unnatural movement of the 'Secret army' by tracking them with their own 'Shadow Corps' and discovered their scheme. Instead of publicizing it to the public they use it as a opportunity.

They were thinking, after the Northern clan started their operation by stealing gold, it will caused a disorder to the four clans and they will used it as a distractions to abduct many females to the other clans.

Little did the Southern and Northern clans know, the Eastern clan used their 'Undercover spy' that was specialized in gathering data as they already infiltrated the other clans archives of knowledge, and stole all of their scrolls, books and many more as long as they contain knowledge’s.

Then the operation of the Northern clan now started.

The Northern clan easily infiltrated the other clans treasury as if they were busy on something, at first they were sceptic since the security of the clans treasury was lacking, not to mention that the Southern Clan's treasury didn't even have a guard and was just sealed by a metal lock, but as they were thinking that the Southern clan was just off guarded  or just a coincidence that the treasury guard at that time was doing errands, they shrugged the idea, but the speculation was still in their minds.

And they were correct. The four clan's, after hearing the news that someone robbed them of their treasures, they immediately speculate the Northern clan since they were thinking that since they run out of gold, they beginning the act of stealing the others for their offerings.

But the Northern clan denying the accusers as they were saying that they also have been robbed by their treasures which are a lie.

The four clan's normal citizens pointing and accusing one another, but their elders which is the leaders of the clans was quiet....to quiet that was the Northern clans question.

Then the question was answered by the sudden missing of females of each clan. They have now accused the Southern clan as they were thinking that the missing females were their doing.

Now it added the fact that the three clan's archives of knowledge was missing it contents and blamed the

Eastern clan for they are the most educated and their offerings are always related to books contained knowledge’s.

Now the people were in the massive uproar as they pointing fingers and blaming each other.

Then the last thread of peace was cut by the Western clan by their unexpected attack at the three clans.

They were in shocked, since the Western clan was the most peaceful out of the three.

They then realized that the trees in their territories have now dwindled and they needed a new source to harvest as they needed their seeds for the offerings.

They secretly amass their army while the other three clans were still distracted.

The Western clan's first objective was to secure the pyramid by killing the people that doesn't belong to their clan around it.

Now that the task was finished, the pyramid was now bathed in blood by the own worshipers.

As the Western clan has now the controlled the pyramid, they tighten its security and since their new settlement was near the pyramid, they can easily dispatched troops around it.

The other three clans enraged, not only the Western clan attacked them unexpectedly while they were disputing each other, they have now taken control the pyramid that they shared and taken away the rights to them to worshipped.

The three clans formed an alliance and build an army more times the size of the Western clan as they march to the pyramid and take it back and also their lives.

It was night time and a moon was so big you may think it closer to you.

The Western clan's determination was unwavering and ready to die for their beliefs. The three clans formed army of a hundred thousand while the Western clan was just 20 thousand as they faced the army of a hundred thousand in front of them while the pyramid as their background.

The sound of horn was heard as it was a sign of the start of the war.

The three clan alliance was the first to move as they slowly marched at their enemies, ready to give a divine punishment at them.

As the alliance began to move, so as the Western clan and shouts a war cry that can be heard kilometres away.

But the battle didn't happen as they're suddenly distracted.

A bright light suddenly emerge at the top of the pyramid and made people below watch in awe as the bright light was getting bigger and much bigger as the light crept up to the sky.

And a silhouette figure was seen as big as a mountain and tallest they have known as it reached up to the sky made the western look back and just stared at it with dumbfounded faces.

As the radiant bright light slightly dims its brightness made the people below laid down their weapons and look up what they see that made their beliefs shaken.

A giant tree was floating at the top of the pyramid and it was giving out radiant light like a sun.

The tree, radiant as a sun as the light shone all over the four clans territory and made the night into a day, and made the Northern clan fall into tears.

The tree was so big that it manifested a huge shadow and engulfs the Southern clan’s territory and made the people of the Southern clans jaws drop and lowers their weapons.

The giant tree pierced into the sky as its background was a giant moon made the Eastern clan kneels on the ground as they began praying.

That day not only changes their lives it is also their beliefs and becomes united on generations to come.

《On a barren wasteland》

This particular tribe was a barbaric race as they adapted in the one of harshest land in the

The water is non existence and only rains ones a year.

Generation upon generations they appearance slowly change as they adapted in the environment they lived in. There are monsters underground ranging from giant worms, giant scorpion and many more as they hunt them and as their main source of food and causing mutation in their bodies.

Their skin colours turned black as a protection of the scorching sun's rays.

Their ears are slowly fading as it is adapting to the lands sand storms. And in exchange for their ears, their senses raised exponentially when it comes to feeling the vibrations underground sharply as they are becoming accustomed on hunting desert creatures.

Their body becomes bulky muscular as they hunt the monster underground with their bare bodies as a weapon.

But they slowly change when a pyramid suddenly appeared.

For the barbaric tribe who was just starting of using stones as it made it sharp as a weapon and learned to preserved food if they needed. They viewed the pyramid as a living god as it produced water on its feet and gushing everywhere. It made the cracking dry ground muddy as it produced weeds of grass on its trails.

They then began to worship it, suddenly a metallic objects came out at the portal and rolling down below the base of the pyramid. There are different kinds of object ranging from weapons, plates, jewelleries and many more. The objects have one thing in common; it has a shining smooth surface with different colour, ranging from a colour as a sun, a colour as a star and stones that shines if reflected under the sun.

That's right; it was gold, silver, and gems. The Barbaric tribe was mystified as this was the first time they had seen such object.

It does not end there, at the next day a woman suddenly appeared at the top of the pyramid with a stupefied expression as she keeps looking left to right as if she were looking something.

The Barbaric tribe was happy, thinking their god answered their prayers.

As the tribe slowly evolving as they adapted on the environment, their life span has increased and their senses becomes sharp but with consequences. Their numbers began to dwindling as the generations goes by.

Not to mention a harshest climate such as theirs and sometimes males died during hunting. Now the ratio of male to females is 1:6 but it doesn't mean the females can immediately produced an offspring.

They noticed the low conception of their females and since the females were higher than males, they take multiple wives for a higher chance a child will be born.

After they seen the females who has a dark skin, pointy ears and a body that doesn't even fit for battles, they were thinking that it was the gods daughter and made her almost look like them aside from the ears.

The woman also thinks that it was the gods doing as the god send and ordered the poor girl to help this barbaric tribe to have a better life.

The tribe treat the woman with respect as she can choose a husband amongst the warriors. Later on their hypothesis was right, the woman immediately impregnated as it produced a new race.

Unlike the Barbaric tribes body structure that has a huge built and waist like tree trunks and. This new race has a beautiful face, tanned skin, not so muscular and has a slightly long ears but not so much like her mother.

But the blessing didn't end there; the next thing that has appeared was a bowls upon bowls of seeds. The Barbaric tribe has a questioned look on their faces of what was the bowls of seeds was for since they didn't know what tree is. The woman who came out the pyramid then ordered the barbaric tribe to take the seeds and planted it in the ground near the gushing waters as she said to wait for it to progress.

Another thing came out in the portal was a books, lots of books and some are scrolls.

Of course they didn't know what to do of it, what you expect of a civilization that is still starting, so they give it to the woman.

The woman seems to be educated and understand what is written. She tells the leaders of the tribe to allow her to educate the children as she will teach what is written in the books.

And every year the pyramid is continuing giving out precious metals, millions of seeds and women.

Years goes by, the used to be barren wasteland turned into a green plane and trees was everywhere and its centre was the pyramid.

The barbarian tribe has now becomes civilized, they used to lived in caves but now with the excess of trees they build houses of it and they starting to build public facilities made out of wood, mud and rocks.

And there was a castle. It’s for the royal family who belongs to the first woman who came out the pyramid as they see the woman as a first daughter of the god.

They have now using the gold and silver coins as a form of money that they get yearly from the portal. And lastly they can now read and write and make a military tactics as they will use it for their enemies.

Now, the pyramid has stopped its giving. They didn't know why but they think that their civilization has now already progress enough and the old race has now replaced or evolved into a new race that was more flexible in many ways and that was already enough for them.

Instead of feeling concern about the situation they are happier and treat is a sign that their civilization has progress enough and didn't need help from their god.

They prepaid a festival and held it around the pyramid for thanking their gods for everything.

Suddenly a bright light appeared at the top of the pyramid. The merry crowds who was dancing around the pyramid in circles, the sounds of drums and other instruments used for the festival, and the surroundings has now becomes quieted.

They looked at the radiant light at the top of the pyramid in fear and awe. Nobody moved as they thinking it will offend the Celestial being as he looked down upon them like ants.

The radiant light is now slowly getting dimmer, enough to see who produced such light.

A man in his 30s with a intimidating look and a well defined muscles and his skin was white and it add the radiant light it produces, it gives off the other worldly feeling.

And it add the pair of black horns as it curves upward and eyes was so red and if you look closely, you could see a ocean of blood and the man itself was bathing in it.

They people was awestruck, they immediately kneel and yet their gaze didn't move away as it was still locked at the man as if savouring this historic events that is unfolding this very moments.

They too have red eyes. Their enemies in the neighbouring lands were scared by their colour blood eyes.

They inherit it form the women who came out in the pyramid. Yet this man they were looking was more intimidating and has the eyes of unbeatable and triumphs in battles.

They know. The red eyes are more than enough for them to know the great being they are facing.

They then regain their trances and not one but all of them were kneeling and their heads were on the ground as they were eating the dirt. But it doesn't matter; they were scared and revered from the man in front of them.

《On the highest mountain ranges in the Mortal Realm》

There are two races who lived in the vast and highest Mountain ranges in the entire Mortal Realm, one is the 'God Eaters' who lived at the edge of the Southern part of the ranges and the other one is the Winged humanoid creatures who lived in the highest mountain ranges located at the centre.

A/N: They lived near the South Pole and the mountains there were like Nepal but a thousand times bigger and wider.

The Winged humanoid creatures lived here for as long as they remembered. They were just a small tribe numbered to more than 2000, but their life span almost limitless. But unlike the barbarian tribe or the humanoid animals, they already progress in terms of medical knowledge, innovations of tools and astronomy.

They used herbs for their foods so it will be appetizing, they collect herbs, plants and many more as they grinding them to make medicine tablets and they list it on their clay tablets for future reference and preserving the process of making it for the future generations.

They made houses in the caves but the interior was not a primitive as you think, they used light crystal to light the interior in the cave as it imbedded it on the walls and ceiling to make a clear view to the surroundings.

Their caves was not rough as it seem, every wall of the caves and ceiling was coated with a mixed of mud, powered granite and a substance for hardening and make the walls and ceiling smooth as it imbedded the light crystal in it.

Since they lived in snowy high mountains the atmosphere was thin and the climate was very cold so they made clothes out of snow silk worm that they cultivated inside their caves.

They have adapted the cold climate as generations go by, but they feel slightly uncomfortable. So they used fire crystal inside the cave as they used it as a heater and for cooking.

A/N: light and fire crystals was one of the examples of the elements that was trapped in the mountain or underground for a long period of time as it compressed the elements and condensed and then harden. (treat it as a carbon that turned into diamond)

They also build a huge telescope with a lens made out of transparent clear crystal as they stargazing, and make used of the stars to track months, years and time.

They always looked at the stars with a feeling of longing in their eyes as they keep finding something up to the stars searching for something.

Their instincts told them that as long as they look up to the stars, they will find their answers. With their almost unlimited lifespan, the only thing they could do was wait and wait and gain knowledge in the process as they watch the stars and made constellations out of it.

Now the long wait is over. Someone discovered a strange object in the northern part of the ranges which is in the God Eaters territory. Luckily the winged creatures and the flying ice lizard which they called them as they breath ice was friendly to each other and treat each other as equal since they help each other in terms of handling medicines for the ice lizard and in exchange for the light and fire crystals.

The ice lizards approved of them to enter in their territory.

Soon, 500 of the winged humanoid creatures fly’s through the ranges as they drew near at the strange object, they were excited and has a hint of expectant written on the faces and they were feeling that their long waited answers will now unfolding by the time they get there.

They have arrived at the said location, what they see didn't betray their expectations.

As they fly, they saw a mountain that's have been cleanly half, as if someone or something has the power enough to sliced the whole mountain effortlessly. At the centre of the sliced mountain was a huge pyramid with a four sides that has stares and at the top of it was a circular swirling black and white matter which is the portal.

Around the pyramid was surrounded with greenery which is grass, flowers and some trees which is rare in the cold climate such as they lived in.

The winged humanoid creatures landed on the ground without leaving their eyes towards the pyramid, as they were in trance and speechless.

They broke their trances and realized that the ground was warm and the air was warm. A spring like place which was their first time has seen.

They didn't move closer at the pyramid for fearing someone or something lived in there. They investigate the surroundings and investigate the big trees based of its age and come to a conclusion that the pyramid was in here for more than hundreds of years.

While they were investigating as they scattering everywhere searching for clues, suddenly a bright radiant light has appeared at the top of the pyramid and made the people around it covered or closed their eyes.

They didn't move as fearing while they were blinded by the light they might step in a trap and endangering the other as they already discussed the protocol of many types of scenario including they have experienced now.

Soon the light is getting dimmer as they slowly open their eyes.

They looked up at the top of the pyramid and saw a female figure with a delicate yet beautiful face, golden eyes, golden glowing hair and skin as white as snow as she wore a white dress as it covered her bosom down to her legs and made the men down below watched in awe on the goddess that has descended from the heaven.

What they saw will be engraved into their souls and will given them a huge role in the Mortal Realm in the future.

《Somewhere in the thousand islands》

The sea folks, that’s what they called themselves. Humanoid creatures that has gills both sides of their neck for breathing, between their fingers and feet’s has a thin skin to act as a fins when swimming underwater, their hair is as blue as clear sky and eyes as black as in the deep sea.

Predators everywhere, in the sea the sea folks was the favourite prey as the sea creatures underwater was as large as a small island itself, ranging from squid monster that can easily sink ships, 100 meter sharks that can tear apart prey like nothing, giant eels that can easily swallow a man whole and even the giant jelly fish is so deadly as their transparent tentacles can scattered everywhere and stung the unnoticed sea folk and made their hearts stops beating and died.

And in the air, giant 20 meter birds that looked like an eagle preying the sea folks. Every season where the giant birds were on a mating season, they hunt the sea folks for food for their newly young chicks as they needed nutrition and the sea folks meet the category.

They have nothing to run as they were vulnerable in land and water so they thought of an idea of living underground.

They build caves underground at its connected to one islands to another and when they hunt, they passes through small crevices in their underground water tunnels as they lay small traps near the crevices as they were afraid to go further for the dangerous creatures living with them.

But the peace didn't last. A sudden earthquake struck the ground underwater and causing the tunnels to cave-in and a large tsunami hits the islands and filled the caves they lived in with water.

It was a disaster scene. People were trapped in the tunnels as it is filling the tunnels with water, even though they can breathe underwater they still needed of air to breath as they were mammals. With no oxygen to breath and hours passed, they were drowned.

Some were lucky and passed through the small crevices they have created but only to get eaten by the sea creatures as if they were waiting all this time were to happen. It is the same for the ones in the lands when the tsunami struck at them as swept them into the sea and becomes food for the sea creatures and giant birds who were flying as they see this as a opportunity to gather food.

One island inhabitants releases colourful smokes as a form of communication as it say that 'We will defy fate' and made the other islands people did the same as colourful smoke with the same information and made the other island who was much farther to see.

They came to understand what is that information mean as they to know how they feeling right now.

Since the caves they build was no more, they will be like a walking buffet for the giant birds and some sea creatures that can walk on land.

The mating season of the big birds has already finished and they only needed little food to eat and not mention they learned how to stock foods and store it inside of the many huge iceberg near the edge of the thousand islands where the climate is cold as they stored the thousands of corpses of the sea folks they hunted.

They used this as a opportunity to strike back as they will now becomes a predators and the predators will becomes prey.

The men have abandoned all hope of living in exchange for their children and wife to keep living as they will be the ones to do the fighting.

They made spears, bows, traps and daggers out of huge bones of a giant eel that once drifted in their shores with its body is already unmoving and full of wounds dictated that it was battling a strong foe and died.

The first thing they are planning to hunt was the huge birds that was still loitering in their islands even though they already stock enough food for the next mating season, as if it didn't mind the sea folks who was looking at the them with anger and vengeance in their eyes.

They laid thin transparent nets that were made from a type of silk worm whose silk was strong as steel and it was strong enough to hold the big birds. At first they were reluctant since the silk worm itself was so rare and it cannot be cultivated because of its sensitivity when it was touched and when alerted they have a defence mechanism that can release a poison and spread through into their bodies as an act of suicide.

Luckily throughout century, instead of using it made into a dress or anything that can be use of, the sea folks collected it and was treated as a treasure and a sign of power and wealth to those who come into possession of it as it made into a ball lf yarn. The bigger the yarn is the more prestige they will get to the normal sea folks so many people owned at least a meters of tread.

But now that they were on a verge of dying out, they take and make anything they can find and owned to make weapons. Anger and vengeance engulfed them but they are still sane as the men were thinking only the survival of their wife and children.

One of the giant birds who were flying notice a male sea folk that was standing under a big tree and many large bushes was surrounding the big tree unnaturally which was suspicious.

But the stupid bird was thinking of snacking the male sea folk as it dive down below in its fastest speed as it was thinking that it got the elements of surprise to the unnoticed male.

As its getting closer with its fastest speed, suddenly something caught the giant bird when it was three meters closer to the target and made the bird unable to flap its wing as it crashes down on the ground.

If you looked closely, a thin transparent net was covering its whole body as it trying to get away using its feet. But that didn't happen because of a sudden appearance of 20 sea folks who was hiding behind the bushes and tackled the giant bird.

They did the same tactics to the other giant birds and captured more than 200 giant birds throughout the thousands island. Even though they want to kill the birds out of vengeance for their loved ones who was killed by them, one suggested a better solution of making use of them as a mount to travel. They trained them with beating and feed them if they did a good job.

For a giant birds who was once hunted the sea folks and evolved to be slightly intelligent and can make judgements of their own. Now because of the rigorous torture and training with a mix of fear and hunger, they are now becomes a mindless birds that will follow orders given by them.

they put a saddle near the back and neck of the bird as they will use them as a mounts in order to boost their military power and survival.

Now that they are ready to retaliate, hundreds of mindless birds who only listen to orders flaps their wings as they carry a hundred of sea folks along with them is their weapons ranging from melee to long ranges.

Their destination is the many small islands located at the edge of the south of the thousand island, it was the territory of their most hated species of sea creature, the 'Monster Shark' as they are using the island as a resting place and as well for laying eggs since there are many shallow waters for the babies to be safe from dangers. But now, their very own favourite prey wills now preying on them and they couldn't do about it as their attackers were in the air flying.

They always falls in prey to this monster when they were swimming underwater while looking for food and the cunning monster sharks stalks them far away with their keen eyes that can see through water clearly one kilometre away. After of many failed trials of getting foods and now the monster shark's population has grown three times after discovering the sea folks as a edible and easy food source, that when they change tactics to lived underground and made tunnels throughout island to island and get food throughout the small crevices underwater where some of their tunnel was purposely for hunting since it was flooded with water.

But the incident struck them and their tunnels that was connected together was ruined and causing a cave-in, the trapped sea folks don't have any choices but to get out through the small crevices made by the earthquake and the already has a crevices for hunting before they ran out of oxygen to breath as the water is rapidly filling the tunnels where they were trapped in.

But what waited them outside the tunnels was an all-out one sided massacre made by the monster shark as they were hunting the sea folks. When they get out, one by one they got immediately eaten and some of the sea folks didn't know what happened to them as some of them eaten in half the waist as they only realized their lower half was already gone.

As if the giant sharks was purposely doing it as they mocking and playing with their foods. Some of the sea folks made into the beach but the monster sharks seems to know how to surf in the waves for extra boost in shallow water as they glides through into the sand with water and made their way halfway into the beach and immediately bitten them from behind unnoticed and as they get back wiggling in the water.

The Sea folks who is in the islands saw how they were eaten from behind without warning and some of them knew some who were eaten, but they were afraid to go near the beach. But they still didn't lose hope since there are still many of their brethren is out in the sea as the monster sharks circling them while changing the water current and made them unable to go further in one of the island. They were playing, that was the thought of the Sea folks as they curse the monster shark and themselves for being powerless.

Since they were afraid to go near the beach, they come up of an idea to throw a long rope at them as they will try to pull them of the shore; many of the other islands survivors did the same. As the people out in the sea saw the rope, hundreds of them grabbed the rope as the people on the islands pulled them off the dangerous sea, as they're getting closer and the monster sharks didn't do anything just circling them, they were expectant that the monster sharks already has a full stomach.

But their expectations crashed, as they hurriedly pulled the rope, the first one who is in the front row was smiling at them, as they pulled the rope and the first person got off the water, they have realized that his lower half was no more as soon he got out of the water. But his eyes showed a determination as he was still alive and unable to never let go of the rope as his half body dragging on the sands up to the safe zone, as if telling to the one who pulled that 'it's better to have something left to show to his love ones than getting eaten'. After he was in the safe area, someone approached him while trembling; it was a female child who was approaching him. With all the man's strength, he lift up his head and smiled gently at the girl as if trying to console him and tried to raised his right hand, the girl tried to grab it but unable to do so as the man's hand goes down as his eyes open looking at the girl in a lifeless gaze but his smile didn't vanished console the little girl until the end.

The girl stood frozen, so as the people who was looking at him. "Father...." said the girls voice with a low tone and lifeless eyes, that was the last word she has spoken until one of the Sea folks hit the girl behind the neck and made her unconscious. The one who hit the girl has a pained face and walks to the rope and beginning pulling. The Sea folks melted their frozen gaze as they continue what they were doing but failed to produce good result. They continue to pulled the rope only greeted by a half body Sea folks as they are struggling not to let go of it even though they know it was already too late, but they still persevere not to let go. So long as they at least show their faces to their surviving relatives, it was enough.

Thousands of Sea folks in every islands is grieving, the ones who was pulling the ropes but ended to produce a failed result as they were thinking it was their fault and unable to look at the surviving relatives faces. But instead of loathing them, they get a thank you from the surviving relatives for giving them chances to say their goodbyes. A pained expression coming from them as their tears drops and looked at the sea with many big fins circling in the waters with a hatred and vengeance.

But the men has now given a chances to redeem themselves as they were the first to volunteered to ride the giant birds as they headed towards the monster sharks territory, carrying them is their weapons and a large containers made from wood, enough for the giant birds to carry.

They lived their life in fear and only has enough food to sustain their population to survived, asides from traps they laid underwater near the crevices, they use some kind of method where they lure small fishes in shallow water with a type of food that the fishes like, around the fish food they throw out for bait was a wide fishnet enough to collect tons of fish at one time.

But they know that the fishnet was not enough as the fishes in the thousands island was aggressive and dangerous, even the small ones was capable of cutting the fishnet enough to escape and the big ones can jumps many meters in the air as if they were actually flying. They developed a type of poison made from the type of tree where they get the sap of the tree as a main component for their poison with a mixture of herbs. The poison was enough to paralyze the target but not killing it, with one drop of poison can engulfed a large area of body of water. They use this types of method when the times of desperation where food was really scarce but never use it if not needed.

Because of how dangerous this poison was and might destroy the whole ecosystem of sea creatures and will left them to starve and also the fact that they love the sea as this was their second home even though they were driven into the land because of the uncontrollable creatures that dominates the waters.

Now, they were driven with madness and hate towards the creatures as they go fort into their territory as they will use the poison against them for vengeance and survival for their kind.

Each of the giant birds carried a large container made out of wood. Now they have arrived at the hundred island where many islands didn't contain any living being as it was only filled with big sharp rocks and no vegetation is seen. But underwater was different. Up in the sky, the sea folks can clearly see thousands of huge and small shadows of fish, they were up in the sky nearly a thousand meters below and they know that the silhouette figure like fish was their target as they fast diving down below with their faces full of evil intentions as they smirking at the target.

They have now stop their dive as they have now gliding in the air with no intention to go further near the waters as they are afraid of those creatures to suddenly jumps at them, they have learned their lesson, if the monster sharks can surf in the waves and using it as a extra boost as they can get in the beach halfway and wiggle back at the water then they might or can also jump many meters in the air and catching the flying giant birds along their passengers.

So the just have to fly enough height to ready their plans. A whistle was heard by one of the riders and the other knew exactly what's that mean.

Thousands of them have now floating in the water and unmoving, but the riders know they are not dead but paralyzed; they have an hour most until the poison wears off.

A war cry is heard throughout the sky as the riders now descended fast, raising their respective weapons, as they promoted massacre and carnage towards their enemies below.

They hacked and stab the monsters with a bloodshot eyes, some got off the giant birds as they jumps at the top of the bodies of the monster sharks  who was valuable with paralyzed bodies and can only watched the massacre that is happening to them as they have now experiencing and facing a total humiliation and annihilation.

The crystal clear water has now turn into crimson and the thousands of monster sharks was bathing with it.

The battle didn't last long, every weapons they carried, spears, bows and arrows, axe; sword was dipped in a kind of poison in it that can melt muscle tissues and destroying any immunity in the body of the target.

As they were afraid that the paralysis will wear off sooner than later since they didn't tried it before on the bigger creatures, they decided just to attack the vital points which is the heart and the head as the monster shark immediately die as the poison on their weapons goes inside their bodies as its corroding their hearts and brains.

But what they didn't expect is that the poison they wasted in the waters is continuing to spread outside the territory of the monster shark and affecting every inhabitants living in the sea.

Since one single tree can only produce only two drops of the paralysis poison since it is still need extraction to make it pure, they decided to cut the trees and extract every sap in it, making hundreds of island go bold as no trees was left, not to mention it grows very slow.

They poured 200 containers of poison that is equivalent of more than a half a million of trees that they get out of it. For a starting civilization like theirs, their mental thinking ability and calculation skill was still at the lowest level, so you can't blame them for being simple minded and easy to get swayed by their emotions. They couldn't imagine the outcome of what they had done to themselves.

The poison that spreading into the sea produced a chain reaction, the coral reefs in many places is beginning to die, making the fishes who was immune to poison starve and the affected fish floats in the water as the giant birds fetch the easy preys and ate them, making themselves poison as they keep swaying onto the air but decided to give in as they crashed into the ocean which part was still unaffected by the poison. But as the giant birds that ate the poisoned fish crashed into the sea, they greeted by the big sea creatures the same size as a monster sharks, like giant octopus and squid and many more. But it also affected them as they slowly digesting the giant birds and paralyzed or something else.

It appeared the poison that once a type of paralysis mutated into a new kind of parasite after many process of their host getting devoured. One type of parasite inside the host's body adapted into the poison and made it their own ability and other ability that can devoured the host from the inside.

As it spreading fast throughout the 'Thousand Island' and made the once crystal clear sea are now turned into crimson colour and the sea creatures unable to move due to the poison were helpless. They are trapped in their islands and nowhere else to go. Even they has a means of transportation which is the birds, they couldn't evacuate the 'Thousand Island' as they never venture outside of it. Some riders tried to find a safe location outside the 'Thousand Island' but they only see an endless view of ocean and strong gust of wind as they can't pushed on. Evacuating using big boats is not an option as they know that there are much more dangerous creatures outside the 'Thousand island' since it was much deeper and they could already see large serpent like creature's shadow not even 20 miles away from the thousand island that was much larger than they ever seen in their lives, it was much larger and longer than the monster eels that inhibited the thousands island, and the shadowy figure that they viewed from above seems to have a arms and legs with its long 120 meters body, which they have now realized that it can come in the lands as it please.

As the riders returned, carrying the bad news on their hands. One rider with a youthful appearance spotted an area which was covered in fog. The area seems to be 20 miles radius that was covered with fog, as the youth was heading there with a curiosity but only stopped by an older male as he was saying that the area is the centre of the 'thousand island' and their ancestors told them as it was passed down to their descendants that the area is prohibited as they've been told by their ancestors that a strange bright light that suddenly appeared into their skies and engulfed the whole 'Thousand island' with its radiant light as it beginning to descend down below on the centre of the island.

Even the large predators didn't go there, and their ancestors come up with an idea that a foreign god choose to dwelled in there, as they thinking that their own god which they believed is a embodiment of water allowed the avatar of light to stay in one of the island.

They are now at the edge of their survival, they couldn't blame of what had happened since they feels the same way to one another. Now, the whole territory of the 'Thousand Island' covered in crimson colour, sea creatures corpses everywhere, big or small. And it didn't end there as the trees in every island slowly dying by an unknown caused.

As their remaining rations for survival is dwindling by the passing days. The riders fly for the last time as their mount that was already exhausted due to the lack of food because they conserved the food for their people and also due to flying many hours without rest.

As many scattered everywhere, finding some hope that can help them survive. The youth form before came back at the site where the fog is and discovered that the surrounded area outside the fog was unaffected by the poison as it was still crystal clear water.

As he informed the others about his discovery, people began to pack their belonging, riding their biggest boats as they rowed through the litter of corpses in the water. They were desperate for survival and ignore the warning of their elders of the impending danger revolving around that place. As they have now arrived closer outside the fog, they saw the crimson liquid didn't affect the edge of the fogs territory, telling them that the inside is safe from dangers.

They continued to grow their boats inside the fog. As they go deeper, they see a strange light emitting to the other side of their destination. They decided to follow the light and change their courses, as if telling them that the light is guidance from them to follow.

Hours passed and the light is getting denser telling them that they are now closer, now they have realized what that is was. They saw a pyramid structure with steps on its four sides and above it was a black and white vortex like matter. But the structure was not their looking at; it was what's above the structure.

They saw a giant turtle with a skin of golden colour added by the glow emitting on its body, its shows that the being was omnipotent and almighty that can crushed them anytime it wants. there are still 16 miles from the pyramid but the creature who was floating above the pyramid overshadowed the whole large island with its whole body that the pyramid was standing on creating a massive shadow around it.

As the people is dumbfounded and don't know what to do as this is the first time they saw a living god. They can only prostrate themselves to the almighty being that is in front of them.

We the so called gods by them give them 2 wishes. The humanoid animals as simple minded as they are, wishes for only to stay in the pyramid for safety and let them worship the lion with a fiery mane.

As new enemies come forth in their lands and brewing destruction and carnage, the 4 clans was now united, defeated any intruders with their combined arm forces and exchanging ideas to strengthen their bonds together.

At times when the 'Mortal Realm's' balance is destroyed, their task is to repair the destroyed balance with their newly reborn power gifted by their goddess.

The Sea folks wishes for strength to smitten their enemies and let them live in this secluded place without getting bothered by anyone until they gain resolve and strength to fight into a stalemate or overpowering their enemies. There was one peculiar and unique race that is not strong like the barbaric tribe yet managed to survived using resilience and cunningness. Why we took an interest of this race was their ability to adapt to any environment they faced on. We watched them through their hard times when they lived in the caves and eat raw foods. And how they first make weapons made from stone that was sharpen as they defended themselves to many large predators roaming around their area.

We watched them almost fall into extinction because of a natural calamity ranging from earthquake to floods as their first thought of that time was to hide in their caves when a danger struck. But that proven to be wrong as the flood gets inside their caves and made them drowned and earthquakes, causing the caves to cave-in and let them trapped inside to starve. With multiple times it happened and many deaths occurred they come into realization and left their caves and lived on the earth surface. They build houses from leaves and stone, but as generation becoming smarter, they made many efficient tools to come up with many ideas of invention. Making their daily lives much easier.

We watch them as they learned how to grow crops and domesticate edible animals; they make dried foods to preserve for the winter season as they are unable to grow crops. Their numbers grown after the agricultural era, with much food to eat, they can feed and produce many children without problem of starving.

We watched them when they learned how to mine minerals as they make tools for work and tools for killing. As their numbers grew they decided to expand their lands as they made weapons like axe for cutting the dense trees, iron swords for fighting and bows and arrows for the weak body that who still wants to fight.

They lived in a large plane as they are surrounded by large mountains ranges from a far. Since they decided to expand their territories, they braved themselves as they fight through the dense forest that is filled with dangerous monsters. Many died and many suffered. But their conviction and cunning tactics to lure the monsters to their traps and killed them, advancing their way through the dense forest and discovered a pyramid. This was the first time they seen such smooth and symmetrical structure as it was described by them as other worldly; it was God's gift, that's what they said. They began to worship it.

Many years have passed; they relocated their whole community after discovering that the monsters were afraid to go near the pyramid. Their civilization flourished and triples their population after they settled around the pyramid. They build massive wall made of stone and iron for support around the pyramid.

They even build council of ten leaders as they respectively govern one part of the land to rule and each has its own armies to command to defend the people and eliminate the monsters.

Their intelligent have now risen as they can focused on many innovative ideas since no monsters can attack them inside and now their military equipped with iron swords and full bodied armour as they ride their horses that was breed for battle and long distant travel.

They called themselves 'Humans' in their ancient tongue means 'Survivors' as they proven themselves to be resilient and unyielding to their enemies and survived many generation of hardship back when their ancestors hunted by many monsters into the brink of extinction.

The once monster they feared are now gone as they still continued to pushing them away as they keep expanding their territories, creating new villages outside the  protective range of the pyramid as the population keeps rising.

Now they have enough land to keep their citizens satisfied and free of monsters attack. Then internal dispute follows. Their natural enemy was now no more as it was getting push by what they called 'knights'. With the excess of numbers of soldiers to command and different faction disputing over the newly lands, the ten leaders has decided to wage war to one another over sovereignty.

The citizens they want to protect was now in the middle of conflict and many died in the process, brothers against brothers, family members torn apart by the civil war as they choose their own sides and fight for what they have believe in.

The once prosperous civilization torn apart by greed and ideals and half of their population almost wiped out. If it wasn't for a miracle they experienced at that time.

An orb of light was floating above the pyramid as it giving of a radiant warm light and made the battle field litter with corpses stop moving. The 'knights' lay down their weapons as they kneel in front of the radiant light with awe and reverence as they look up with the eyes of asking for forgiveness as they thought they angered the god who is living inside the pyramid and also of longing as it was the first time they saw their god who they revered and worshipped since the beginning of the discovery of the pyramid.

The orb of light is emitting more powerful light as if conveying something to them, which they understand somehow. 'I give you two wishes' that was the light's message. The battle filled came into halt and they leaders of different factions discussing of what they wishes will be.

Their first wish is knowledge. The orb of light emitting more radiant light as it engulfed the whole area and suddenly, knowledge that they didn't know or even they thought was impossible was purring into their heads. Satisfied by their gained knowledge as they're exited to try it out as they learned the so called 'Mana' that is around them and can manipulate at will and many endless possibility.

Their second wish was to allow them to worship the orb of light as their own god as they thought that after getting their second wish, the orb of light will leave. And the other purpose was that they have learned after the war that their civilization is still fragile and easily to crumble if internal conflict occurred, with the help of god's name, it will hold the community together and a strong foundation can be build.

Now with a vast endless knowledge they have gained. They created big structures like castle, bridges and many more, their tools in daily lives have been upgraded to more convenient use, they learned how to read and write efficiently and strategically and tactical way of war and they also learned 'Magic'.

What we didn't expect was that, after they learned how to travel using the portal, they suddenly attack the race that was in the other side as they wiped out the whole race into the face of the world. We forgiven them, as we thought that they have the rights to do so, since the race on the other side didn't progress whatsoever and wasted their wishes that was given to them.

But what happens next made us change our perspective towards the humans and all the other races we watched and guided. The humans advance their expedition after they occupied the first territory they've invaded, creating new settlement for their still increasing population.

Each pyramid we build has only two connecting passages, one is called 'clockwise system' a passage where you cannot return and can only advance until all the pyramid is travelled and return to their homes. It was meant for cultural exchange. Its purpose is to come to understanding with the other races. The second one is the 'Random system' a passage where you can go in and out to the other side of one random pyramid. The purpose of it is to trade goods and help each other when problems occur.

So by using the pyramid owned by the race that the humans eliminated, they gained a new travel pathway.

The humans now owned three pyramids as they also eliminated the whole race that was living in the third pyramid. They continued to go further to the fourth one, but it didn't go well as they expected the other side of the portal was a race that boosted for their strength and wisdom to judge what is right or wrong.

They have dark skin, red eyes and bulging muscles with no excess fat as their daily routine was fighting and sparing. They are the barbaric tribe. With their newly gained strength and wisdom, they gained senses of what the uses of magic. They use magic to strengthen their bodies as they still developing and unable to invoke outer magic.

As the humans marched fort towards the fourth portal, they were ambushed by the barbaric tribe as if they know what is coming. The barbaric tribe uses their bare bodies as a weapon as they ripped the humans like a thin paper.

The humans desperately fighting the barbaric tribe but it was for naught. The humans were powerless towards the barbaric tribe. Even though outnumber them to ten to one. The barbaric tribe skin was hardened by strengthening magic; it also added their black and a little reddish hard skin, cultivated on battlefield, as if they're wearing a rusted iron skin as the humans are unable to pierce through their skins.

They tried to use fireball as this was the first magic they have learned for the moment and win their campaign against the other race they've eliminated. But their efforts were in vain as its unable to harm the barbaric tribe's steal-like skin.

The humans retreated and backed away when they realized that they're powerless against them, but they have not given up after even though they lost more than half of their army. They will remember the first race that has defeated them and it will be their natural enemy In the future and many wars will occur.

'Demon'

That was the barbarian tribe now called. As they get the name from the name of their god 'Demonius' as a sign of respect and belonging. The demons already realized that the pyramid was actual a portal, with their newly gained wisdom they can think of many possibilities. They send ambassadors for diplomacy as they've realized that there are other options than using brute strength. They've already allied themselves to their neighbouring land through diplomacy and strengthen their bonds. Their neighbours consists of a humanoid bull that can walk on its two feet, half man half bird, earth dragons who was living in the mountain ranges and many more as its keeping increasing and they also educated the races that didn't received a blessing from the gods, making their once called city turned into an empire and the first multi racial and many ethnic community into one ruler in the entire Mortal Realm.

The demon emperor, who the god Demonius choose as a leader for his empire knew that the humans will come back with stronger forces and he knew that they will not stop until they are wipe out as they saw how radicals they are to the other races. As he was the one who's the wisest of all the demons and the one who proposed diplomacy. He sends people in the portal to make friends and established a new trade route for their expanding economy.

It was a success on the first try and the emperor immediately sends trade goods to be traded. On the other side of the portal was a race with a pair of bat like wings, red eyes and have tails with a sharp point that can use as a lethal weapon.

They have a racial trait that can suck life force their victims but that didn't fazed nor scared the emperor. In fact, they welcomed them with open arms as they hold a lot of similarities to the demons.

Although they can suck life force, they were physically weak like humans but more agile than them and can fly through the air. So with the alliance with the demon empire, they get a protection from the empire.

The race in the second passage in the portal didn't end well. Although nothing serious was happened. On the other side was a race that has bodies of rocks which the demon was startled since this was the first time they've encountered a non organic spices. They have observed the rock like humanoid form but did not disturb them and they seems not to care about the pyramid and just use it as a centrepiece of their village and they also ignored the demons, as if they're thinking that the demons was just like any ordinary animals that was passing by.

With the lack of communication and understanding of how their community is works, they can't connect with them. They saw that the rock like humanoid didn't need to sleep and they eat rocks for source of food which greatly disturbed and fascinated the demons who was watching them.. The only thing they could do was to continue to advance to the second passage.

But they only saw was carnage and massacre. What they saw was a humanoid figure like them wearing an iron suite and riding a four legged animal as they slash and stab the creatures who they believed was the one who originally lived in there.

Luckily for them as they passed through the portal, they haven't spotted yet by the humanoid wearing an iron suite as they were busy killing and massacring the original citizen below. They immediately return back as they informed their emperor about the happenings on the other side. The emperor orders the whole army to be ready as they prepared when they're coming.

They told the race in the other side of the pyramid to evacuate in their own territory since they will be the first to be invaded which they happily accepted.

They also tried to convince the rock like humanoid about the impending dangers but they wouldn't listen nor even looked at them. So they gave up. They focused on what's ahead as they waiting for the invaders to come out the portal as they've already completed their preparation for battle.

At first we thought that they will settle their differences soon after but that proven to be wrong. The humans always comes to the demons territory to wage war while half of their army is expanding their territories on their borders as they discovered many pyramid while they expand they lands and wipe out the settlers living in there and populated the territories with their own races. The human leaders used the gods name and falsely told their citizens that their natural enemy is the demons as they deemed them heretics and worshippers of an evil god and needed to wipe out for their own safety.

The demons also were angered by their preaching about them being evil as the humans categorized all the non human as demons, not as a single race but as whole. They were angry at first but they realized that they can use it as a opportunity to unite the no-human race to choose their sides which they immediately accepted.

More than 70 portals has now in the hands of the humans and as a time passes, they build hundreds of kingdoms and empires as their population roused to 500 million. To those who loses their homes and the almost extinct races because of the humans greed of resources and slavery, hundreds of non-human race joined the demon's side as they claimed half of the world while the humans also control the other half.

We the True gods aren’t allowed to step on their wars because it will cost our own to conflict and dispute. But we helped them for giving them resources. We didn't know that the resources we gave them, specially the humans that will led to the first 'World War' a massive war between two sides.

The Mortal Realm is now divided into two factions. The human faction, that only consists of only the human race and the demon faction, consists of multiple races beside human, ranging from the elves, dwarf, humanoid animals which the humans called 'beast man' even the dragons joined them because the human race hunted them for their body parts, specially the heart which they believed to bring them immortality when eaten.

Some of the races the demon empire governs are still in their developing stage which is why the demons is helping them to accelerate their progress, for example was the race they called 'Orc'. They are similar to the demon race when they're in their first years of progression.

But now, the demons teach them to fight which they are only good at and with their high fertility rate, their numbers is the biggest in the entire Demon empire which is the back bone of the empire. Now that their empire is getting bigger, it is also getting harder for the demons to control them because of minor conflict to the other races. The Demon emperor then decides that, each race can pick a representative that will be directly under the Demon emperor control as a general to directly inform him of their own situations.

The generals will be called 'Demon Lord' as they governs their own races but only second in power to the Demon Emperor as they're form a pledge to the emperor to never betray him.

As the time goes by, the skirmishes between the two sides becomes a fully fledged 'World War'. The 'Radiant Church' which is the place to worship is the true leaders of the whole human race. Human kingdoms and empires submitted to them as they blindly worshipped their one and only god that they called the 'Radiant God'. The high priest was chosen as the leader who proclaimed himself as the most closer and can directly talk to their god. He tells the worshippers about their race were superior and they can look down upon the others because their god tells them too, and the demons must be eliminated because they're worshippers of a dark god.

Half of it was true, but we the 'True gods' never discriminate other based on their forms, we choose a representative to directly talk to us as they ask us of their needs. Now that there are only two factions, it also only needed two 'True gods' of each side to worshipped, the rest of us now choose not to intervene with their affairs and the two chosen representative will do the work for us as we watched on the sidelines.

We made a huge mistake; we underestimated the human’s capabilities. They are the embodiment of unstoppable greed and bottomless stomachs as they slowly ate their way onto us.

With just millennia, they build fortresses that were made of steel and they also made massive cannons that fires condensed mana that can blew up a entire village, they made flying ships that can fly throughout the sky by fusing magic and science. They made bombs that can blow up an entire city of the demon's side into ashes. They also made mobilize canons that can pierce through the demon's fortress, the learned magic skills that can turn the tides of war into their advantage.

As they thinking that the demons are not worth their time anymore, they ignored them which the demon empire was confused about. The humans, decided to hunt a hug prey and breaking their beliefs for their own greed and superiority. They were given by their god whatever they want as he dote them. If the humans ask for gold, the radiant god sides will turn a whole mountain into gold, if they ask for bountiful harvest, he will make it so, if they ask to turn the dessert into a fertile land, it will be done. But we didn't expect that they have turned against us and the high priest the apostle of the human side was the one leading the humans to rebel.

We were shocked and betrayed by the race we forgiven multiple times as they plundered the other races of their rights, as they have committed rape and slavery of many demons and other race. But it outweigh their potential as a whole, even though they're physical weak, they adapted in many changes that is happening in their environments, that is why we forgiven them and doted them because they are unique and peculiar.

The humans that we raised most favoured and guided from a small community to multiple empire covering half of the worlds' territory now pointing their weapons against us. They built a huge cylindrical shaped tower that pierced through the clouds and as large as a city.

We didn't know what it is nor did we care as we're thinking that they just made a new discovery to progress further.

And we were right about their discovery and what they find out and build was the most sinful act towards us and we were already too late to stop them. The humans want more, they want unlimited power, they want more knowledge, and they want to be their own masters. They believe they're more superior than any races and can do impossible to possible. But they didn't avoid dying of old age, as they can only live for more than 100 years while the demons lives almost eternity which is the main reason of the humans anger and jealously towards them as they thinking they deserve it more than them.

Many humans ask us for immortality and mostly those with power and wealth, kings and queens who refuse to give up the throne due to them who worked hard to gained and grow it. Wealthy merchant and nobles refuse to hand their wealth to their descendants. They now treated us convenient tools for pleasures. So we stop giving for a long period of time which the demons accepted since they get more than enough. But the humans revolted after the giving stops. As they still hasn't accomplish they ultimate goal.

They want to become gods themselves.

They active the tower as they called it 'God slayer' and was powered by mana of millions of human just to get one shot. the god who supervised them didn't expected an attack by the humans and we also didn't believe at that time that a mere mortals can harm us. As he just watched the humans from above the clouds as he watches them with curiosity.

The pointy tip of the tower produced the concentrated power produced by the millions of humans as it accumulated and turned into a bright shining light like a star above. With enough energy, It was then shot like a laser at the radiant god which they already know its location and coordinates.

The god that they have shot is the god who given them everything without receiving anything back, but the humans becomes smart enough to learned that they're not bound to their so called god nor we can't dictates their future since it was not our creation. The supreme leaders of humans who was the church pretending to still served the god after the 'Radiant god' stop giving. The leaders of the humans were angry because they can no longer do what they want to do because of now limited resources.

Now that they didn't need their god anymore they just tossed him away, but their scholars discovered a more best solution to use the radiant god, which is to absorbed the gods power, which the High Priest

Immediately agree as he was getting old. He wants to gain immortality and power. The humans may have intelligence but without wisdom their judgemental skill was lacking and views the other races as animals as they can't comprehend and understand others outside their own perspectives.

The laser that was produced by the tower hit the radiant god and was surprised by the sudden attack as he was getting pulled by the enormous attraction power from the tower. He was then absorbed, the priest gain immortality and power, but it was only a moment of happiness as he explode along the tower and the millions of people that was giving mana to the tower.

What the humans did was they destroyed the 'True gods' soul after capturing him and living only a fist size orb as it was giving off a radiant light. The orb was our core of power as it houses our souls, our core was unique than any other creature and has many functionality and properties. If a soul was destroyed it only leaves the core which contained our pure power. Every creature in the 'Heavens Realm' has a core on their bodies, the longer you lived the more purer and powerful the core will become.

Us who already lived for millions of years as we keep getting stronger has a purest core and has already have a power to do whatever we want. We called our core a 'True core' which is the First Pairs core. It is the most powerful of the god’s categories. It was not meant for a mere mortal to will its power. Our core also contains information, memory, talent, skills and knowledge that we gained throughout our lifetime.

Absorbing such powerful object inside a mortal will caused a catastrophe as it will overwhelmed the host by the content inside and self destruct when it can't balance to contain its power. What happened to our brethren made us the true god’s debate and re-evaluates the mortals. If the humans were capable of such feat, the other race might can, it might not happen today but it will happen in the future that is what we thought.

Half of it was our fault as we were the one to unnatural evolved them for what have they becomes as we learn that knowledge also comes with wisdom which the humans lacking. We re-evaluate the mortals as we watch their actions. On the demons side, we didn't see any problems as they simply lived their lives. But on the human’s side, we watched in horrors. We the 'True gods' was still strangers of what they called 'sin' since we have power to leisurely do whatever we want whenever we want. We come to realized what's a mortal truly mean, beings who fight for power and live in deception and corruption. They also can loved and hate, vengeful at sometimes. They were full of emotions, different emotions of different people which we quite lack.

Since the whole Mortal Realm was divided into two factions, only two 'True God' was needed, we then neglected the mortals and go back home. Some frequently visited the Mortal Realm but never observed the mortals action as we only see them as whole, but not their individuality. But now as we study and learned from them of the human behaviour as we see the humans is full of different emotions of different people...

Corruption spread throughout the humans, wealthy people looking down on the poor, merchants bribe the officials to avoid taxes, buying and selling their own people as slaves, leaders of each nation fights for personal reasons and gains, women selling their bodies for money, men committed adultery, greedy official raising taxes to pocket the rest, soldiers raped and plundered villagers to other human countries.

We have seen enough of the atrocity of the humans and we know most of it was our fault and we learned from it. We learned to never give too much because it will led into their own demise and ourselves, we also learned how their community works and realized the resources we gave them was too much for their own good, hundreds of realization can gain by just observing the humans as we the gods who was still strangers of the word 'sin' learned it from them.

Unlike before where they struggle to survived when they still have nothing, even though they wage war to each other, they fighting for their own conviction and rights of what they have believed in. Now their system was more complex and has many loopholes in their laws as they're taking advantage of it and sinned more as they fight for personal gain.

We know what we have to do; we saw their souls that are turning black and corrupted as it continued to spread, influencing the younger untainted souls to becoming corrupted. Their technologies also didn't match their lifestyles and greatly separate the poor and the rich.

We now began to move.

We purged, cleansed, purified the humans, we removed the knowledge we gave them, we destroyed any technology they have, their whole history was wipe out by us as we rewrite the memories related of the events happened to their past history and the present events. Their race that once abundant of all reduced into just 1 million and left them with a small piece of land to start a new as we only left the pure ones to live.

But we feel that is not enough, we realized that not just the humans but all of the mortals is capable to sin, but we only punished the humans because they have the ability that no other race has, that is to move forward in progress but unable to look back of what they have become and the consequences of their actions. We can't purged the other races since they still haven't done that can cause destruction to others and themselves.

When mortals becomes wicked their souls becomes darker, hundreds of millions of human that we purge half of them contained dark souls and the other half was still in the mid process of corrupting. We realized that only a heavenly fire can purify their dark souls.

When mortals died, the souls will immediately transfer to a new host as a new born child with new memories and families but the sin on their past life still lingering inside their souls, making the child becomes wicked when they grow up. We have the ability to produce 'Heavenly Fire' but it was exhausting and it burnt more of our 'Divine Energy' more than we reproduce.

We experimented many possibilities and search a way. After of long hard research and still hasn't produce a result, someone discovered an area underground that was big as the 'Mortal Realm' that changed our perspective of the 'Heavens Realm'.

We knew how the 'Mortal Realm' was naturally made and known of its properties and natural laws and orders, not just the 'Mortal Realm' but outside of it. As we see many stars when night time in the 'Mortal Realm' we knew there are many like exactly the 'Mortal Realm’ but we're unable to travel as it was very far away and we are still in the process of discovering of interstellar travel.

But in the 'Heavens Realm' we considered it to be flat since it was very big and ancient. Inside of the underground area, we feel a certain heat coming from the deepest part. We were certain that the heat came from the 'Heavenly Fire'. As we go further down below, we discovered 'Heavenly Fire' as it covered most of the ground floor. But that's not the end of it as we discovered there is still many floors down below and we realized that each floor has its own 'Heavenly fire' covering it, we didn't know how or who made this but what we known of is that 'Heavenly fire' consume 'Divine energy' to maintain its form and in the 'Heavens Realm' all matters was made from 'Divine energy', so we're not surprised if the 'Heavenly fire' in the vast underground didn't extinguished as they get 'Divine Energy' from the air.

What we're surprised was the vast amount of it, every floor is the same sized as the whole 'Mortal Realm', and not to mention that there is still many floors down below that the same size as the first. It feels like higher beings than us made the floor. And the lower floor you go in, the more time distorted. It’s making the time go slow.

Now we have a capabilities to extinguished the dark souls as we purify them using heaven fire. We create portals outside the 'Mortal Realm' that the mortals unable to reach where gravity doesn’t exist. Some revolving to the 'Mortal Realm's" axis some are attached to the moons. The portal was specially made to attract souls to pass through it and immediately transport to the one of the floors. The darker the soul is the harder it to purify which is why we build portals to different floors as the most darkest soul goes to the deepest floor which is the time is slow and the less dark souls goes to the above floor. As the soul is already purified, the portals automatically transport it back to the 'Mortal Realm' to find new body. This process of soul purification is called 'Hell system' it was name by the one who discovered the site and has the right to govern it and now the place called the 'Hell Realm' where mortals think of it as a dangerous place that tormented the sinners while we viewed it as nothing but a soul purification system.

As many millennia has passed. The 'Mortal Realm' has now stabilized. Humans again populated the most of the lands and make wars but not as powerful they were back then as they slowly make changes unlike their previous races.

The 'Mortal Realm' is now guided not us but the descendants of the 'True Gods'. Creating more religion and splitting the one's two factions into many. But that was not enough for them as they will rebel against their parents as they feel inferiority and unfairness, making the Great Gods and Lesser Gods to form a coalitions to joined attack the 2nd and 1st part of the territory of the Greater Gods and True Gods and utterly failed as they banished them and unable to come in the 2nd part of the territory

But I, Silviana couldn't care less about the shitty troubles of the Lesser Worms; they could just die for all i care. I was focused on is one who will I lived my outmost life. I will remain by his side even the ends of time. Forever will I only looked at him and only him.

A chant that will bind me and will not vanished for eternity.

A pledge that will not be broken even someone try.

A promised that will forever and ever be remembers.

And a kiss that will forever engraved into my heart.

That's right. As I was I dazed... believing a magic contracts will be form but this.....

Chanting the most beautiful words I heard in my entire life.....

My heart beats faster, hearing such incantation that was stranger to me yet somehow understand what it means. My face probably red by now as I was still closing my eyes as I was instructed, yet my face slightly cramping as I force not to smile as I somehow happy when I heard him pledging. Such powerful incantation made me swaying with unknown emotions or yet some of my forgotten ones. The humans surely advanced making such magic contract.  I thought.

He finally stop chanting yet I want to hear more. I want more of those flowery chants that enabled to sway me but I wanted it hear from Lyaga's mouth. My state of thought is in chaos. But it was suddenly stop when a soft small thing touches my lips. My mind shut down as I unable to process such wonderful event. The small thing touched my lips as it presses gently yet the sensation was gone immediately when it slowly moving away.

I want more, that was my thought. My eyes still close but I know the small thing was his lips. Such soft and sweet made my body weird.

"Ok, done...with this contract you can guarantee I will not leave your side...hehehe"

I open my eyes as I see Lyaga smiled brightly and ask.

"W-What was that sensation....my body feels weird all of a sudden" I don't know what's happening in my body, but It made me hot and something else which I can't describe. Throughout my life, I rarely interact with others and had friends that can be counted by two hands. It was due to my brother's betrayal that unable I to not talked to opposite gender and I hardly trust people, making me ignorant when it comes to emotions or related to it. One of it was the action that lyaga made as I can't get a description of this feeling surging me.

he looked at me with a question look and a hint of anticipation and made me unable to answer his question, because I somehow embarrass to answer. But I force myself as not to disappoint him.

"I knew it! The books was right, it really do something like that" he looked assured and like a child that was gain a correct answer and was happy about it. Wait, he's still a child...

Something was wrong. As if I committed an act of indecency. But I might regret it if I stop.

What's this! Is he flustered..It’s the first time i seen this expression of his. But this kind of face he's showing is kind of cute, it makes me want to ogle him but I still have my remaining dignity, preventing me to make more shameless actions that I already showed. The things I have done to him is still fresh but it looks like he doesn't mind it one bit. But I think differently as I made up my mind to correct my mistakes that I made in the past.

Again, He drew his head closer. This time my eyes wasn't close as I see him drew closer to me and me flushed red. And now, it comes too fruited. If these feelings continue to blossom by the passing years, I might fully realize this sensation I'm experiencing now.

A soft lip touches mine again. This time it lasted a few seconds. This time I was savouring the taste without a taste. It has a taste of uniqueness and a feeling of belonging. As if this taste is the only thing that will make my heart fluttering and skip the beat. It tells me my lips belongs to him only him. It might last in a few seconds. But I feel the time is eternity, such action made the time stop and let me savouring this new experience.

"Is there any changes" as our lips parted, he ask me. Yes there are changes, a big change. But, I can’t enable to say it. Fearing this action will only happens a couple times. I can't just let it go.

It made me greedy. I ask myself, why so greedy? I am unable to answer. Until I get all my answers, I will not let this go. Even though my questions are answered I will not let it go. I will not let 'him' go.

The ‘True Gods'. Each pair has its own genetic makeup, making us different towards one another, that is why we first called ourselves 'First Pair' on our early days. The ‘First Pair’ of our kind. We were uniquely carved by the 'Unknown' to perfection of each our own rights. Making us having own innate ability. We also have a body that can automatically negate any negative foreign substances from any sort of forms of magic. Since that's the case, this kind of magic contract should not affect me. But the fact, I feel something invading my body. Making my heart pound that you could hear it beating, my body temperature is continuing to rising even though we immune to any sort of discomfort as it negate it all. And most of all, when this 'kissing' was used, my mind and body is telling me to want more of it. This magical contract that the human used is very formidable. It can even affect's me, who specialized of

My magic can even protect even a person's soul from any sort of soul attack. But this magical contract that I can't even detect any magic invocation that is used nor I sense any mana entering my body can even shaken my very own soul for the first time in my life proven to be formidable.

Before he completed his sentence I sort of shout a 'yes' immediately and made Lyaga baffled.

Eh?...why do I look like so frantic after I kind of guess he might end this. But I steel my resolve a said immediately.

"I...I think we should do it again!!!!" I was so embarrass as I was thinking of being shameless and frantic that I haven't showed to outsiders. But this male in front of me was different. I want to know more about him more than he knows me. I can't let him go.

"Ooh..hehehe...I didn't know mother was so bold. I guess there is still many more I didn't know about you"

Why does he look sad? And why my heart aches when I see his sad little face. But he was wrong! This was the first time I act like this.

"uhg" I can only grumble. I lack of confidence to talk back as I was still embarrass. His teasing makes me unable to talk and slowly, my tears beginning to release as I lowered my head, unable to show my face.

A silence filled the air. It was only a minute of silence but to me, it feels like an eternity. But this momentarily silence that will charges our lives forever.

A gentle hand flowed into me. Touching my chin with its two fingers as it trying to lift my head's up. I was powerless to resist this imaginary force that enabled to lift my head. As my head lifted up, my eyes is still looking down with my teary silver eyes, unable me to see a surprise attack that can bring forth a ultimate damage into my heart and soul as it also heals immediately to create a new and powerful heart and soul.

'Kiss' silence is still filled the air. A soft bundle of lips touches mine again and erase my worries once again. This time was longer and more passionate and deep. It’s unable me to think straight as I was savouring this moment.

15seconds.

30seconds.

1minute.

It lasted one minute but it feels like a century of bliss. But I was still greedy. It’s not enough. I want to forget all the bad times that happen in the past. And I want it to fill the memories that will happen from now on. But I do not want to force him like I force him in the past. I wounded him more than enough. It was enough to make me feel miserable when I think of it....

I can only utter "Again"

That word I just said. It was filled with all of my emotions that I think of now. There are Sadness, longing, desperation, belongingness and fear. It echoed throughout the silent room...but I know that was not an echoed but a repeated word playing in my mind. It's the only word I can think of as I crave more of that unforgettable sensation.

'Kiss' this time I look at him directly. Our faces were close and our lips touched. His eyes locked at mine. A black eyes that as black night. It was full of conviction, unyielding and full of responsibility that was thought by me. What I see in his eyes was intelligence and maturity that developed by the passing years of hard task and the unwanted attention given by me made him matured faster which I realized until now.

My mind is full of bliss as if I'm floating in the air.

In Lyaga's room…

Only silent linger, locking our lips that was longer than the previous ones. I was in dazed, my body feels hot and itching feeling when this so called kissing by the humans that we currently making.

"Again" our lips parted again as I blurted out another 'shameless' which I didn't care anymore. I said it with gasping breath along with a squeezing sound which was utterly-absolutely shameless. And once again our lips locked onto each other, but it was quick and immediately parted.

"I’m going to lay you on bed ok" a caring voice was heard from Lyaga. Seeing I was gasping and my body lost all of its strength for some reason. Made him worried and took the initiative to carry me in the bed.

"Again" I do not care anymore whatever happens. Even something inside me telling me this is wrong, but my body and heart won't listen. The consequences will come later. But for now I wanted to get spoiled by Lyaga as it was the first time this action was taken to me.

I was lying in the bed, with tears stared to flowing, but this was a tears of happiness which I forgotten long ago and was unsealed by him. The bad memories that happed in the past was no longer weighing me down and placed with a picturesque of Lyaga that was on the top of me, looking at me intently.

"Why crying? "

"It will not stop if you don't kiss me again"

'Kiss'....

But it did not stop. My tears is continue to flow, in fact Its flowing rapidly more than ever.

"Again" I want it more than ever, until all the bad memories will completely wiped out.

Our kissing becomes more passionate and intense but not to the point that if viewed by others will call it indecent.

"Again......" it continues multiple times.... maybe a hundred? I don't know, I was savouring the feeling and lost myself, as I vaguely remember when I passed out. With my head was on top of Lyaga's chest while he hugging me tightly as I feel protected when I'm around him...

After that day, many changes happened. My expression becomes softer while Lyaga is taking care of me. He cooks foods for me which was incredibly delicious and I didn't know he can cook. He can even make clothes which I didn't teach him. He said it was self taught after he saw my clothes was only plain white which I created by <>. I was lacking of imagination when it comes to designing clothes and when I successfully created one; it will not be semantically aligned so a sleeveless white dress was the only thing I can capable to make.

But with Lyaga's clothes which is perfectly fit to me, emphasizing my curves and a flower design and frills, a white dress with a silver lining embroidered designs making me look more elegant. I was so happy that I kissed him. That's right...fufufu...kissing is a norm for us now. At first I was asking for it. But now Lyaga took initiative when the atmosphere was good. And when he called me 'mother' I feel some kind of irritation and a mixed of fear...I still don't know... So I ask him to call me by my name if we were in private places, just the two off us... Even though there is some annoyance like the twins... Aside from that our life was full of happiness than I never felt since. I was getting spoiled by Lyaga. I was getting pampered as he indulge me anything I want. He also doesn't mind. I ask him and he said 'as long your happy, I'm happy' and made me emotional and kissed him.

But our happy times didn't last long. On his 10th birthday, I allowed him, accompanied by the twins to venture the 'unexplored forest' as I was thinking that it was safe since we at the time currently living in a castle in the middle of the 'unexplored forest' which is my acclaimed territory in the 'Mortal Realm'. But I was totally wrong and Lyaga paid the price.

As if my world crumbles into dust, many flashbacks flowed into me and I was rejecting reality, I was prepared to suicide since there is no meaning if Lyaga wasn't there...but only stop by my Best friend......
