Introduction arc

Conflicted Heart part 3

I did slowly change as a time goes by after I met Lyaga. Since he was a baby he didn't cry nor give me problems as I was strict to him when it comes to educating him.

And when he was five, a lesser God kidnap my little Lyaga. That lesser god worm was one of the many stalkers I have encountered. Even though I have an appearance of a 12 years old, I still carries my unmatched Godly beauty when I was in mature state and made any male crazy when they sees me.

So when those worms find out about my Little Lyaga, one of them kidnapped him in exchange for me as they thinking I was an easy catch.

Well that proven to be wrong fufufu......I arrived to the said location, when I got there I see 20 lesser God smirking at me. Since this day and age only a handful of people knows me and all of them is very much and ancient and so called relics of the forgotten past.

In the present day, Gods categorized base on their elements. And forms a clan with their element as its name, for example is the Lightning God clan governs lightning or Ice God clan and so on.....

It’s pretty stupid if you ask me. It happens after the second generation was born. They were the first burn’s children, meaning the First Pairs grandchildren. And it seems that the grandchildren can only have one element.

The First Pairs didn't know how did that happed but later on they says it is the will of the universe since we/they themselves didn't know their owns identity, for the First Pairs exists since after the beginning of the creation of the first Realm or so we called the Heavens Realm.

They are starting to rank themselves as.

Lesser Gods > Great Gods > Greater God> True God

As they notice that the heaven is now very much crowded which is not. Believe me I tried to explore the still unexploded places in heaven but only 5% has been known to us. All of the First pairs mysteriously exist in a same location.

We couldn’t get along to each other. Big or small skirmished always happens, fighting over territories. But for the sake of survival, we cooperate to one another to clear off the dangerous monsters and making a territory of our own.

A/N: imagine the Heavens Realm as a size of a galaxy.

I laughed out loud when my when Best friend informs me about the new laws and she then offered me a sit to join True God which I turned down respectfully since I choose to lived in the Mortal Realm and stay hidden for seclusion.

But later on I joined them after.....

She explained the idea to me about the dividing the territories we have accumulated in Heavens Realm into a three parts named

True Realm: For the True Gods

Greater Realm: For the Greater Gods

Great Realm: For the Great Gods and Lesser Gods

I may not join their ranks but I joined the creation of the realms, since only the First Pair can alter the places in the Heavens Realm. With the help of 500 Pairs we create a very huge dome like structure. And within the dome is another dome and within it is another dome. It will keep the weaker gods from being killed in the future.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: IMAGINE THE DOME AS A SIZED OF 10 SOLAR SYSTEM COMBINE IT STILL VERY SMALL COMPAIRED THE WHOLE HEAVEN. LIKE A STONE IN THE MOUNTAIN.

Believe me; outside of our territory there are many creatures that rival the powers of the First Pairs.

We called them ‘Heavenly monsters’. They are mid intelligence, more aggressive, and dangerous that is living in the Heavens Realm. They're varied in different forms, some are like the animals living on the Mortal Plane but are hundred times or more powerful and has a divine energy within them, some are truly like a abomination that causes a wide destruction. And we usually treat them as a source of food since they are the only animals capable living there.

But what truly is dangerous is called the God Eaters. They are pretty barbaric creatures and smarter than any Heavenly monsters not to mention they can transform into a humanoid form.

There is also God Eaters in the Mortal Plane but compare it to the God Eaters living in the Heavens Realm; it’s like comparing earth and sky, as they are more powerful and bigger than them.

Aside from Gods, some mortals also revered and worship the God Eaters as Gods. What would you expect from the mortals, they believe what they want to believe. Well if you ask me, God Eaters exist to be balancers as they are the embodiment of chaos and destruction while the Gods is Creation.

As the time passes the name God Eaters was changed, because the younger Gods think of it as a insult to them, since they are depicted as to devouring the gods.

And the mortals also change its name since It was forgotten as a millennia passes and will be known from now on as Dragons which is widely accepted of all kind.

Many things have happened after the creation of the 3 parts of the Heavenly Realms within the Dome.

The lesser gods has been thrown into the Mortal Realm as to serve as a Gods for the mortals. Some sort of emissary to the ‘Great God’.

Only the First Pairs is allowed into the True Realm on the centre of the dome and the smallest of the 3 parts and also has the densest heavenly energy.

Then the Greater Realm, it is only for the Greater Gods which is the children of the 'First Pairs' and the second smallest of the 3 parts.

And the Great Realm is for the grandchildren and their descendants. This is the most chaotic realm. Since the Great Gods encouraged war and power struggle.

The Great gods was the one who proposed the idea to form a clan.

After they indifferent themselves from the other Great Gods of other elements and comes in dispute who was the most powerful Great Gods and Lesser Gods in terms of elements.

But it didn't include the Greater Gods because they think it is very childish and they have grown tired of them. Not only the Great Gods interact with the mortals, they even having children with them and creating a abomination called Demi Gods. Not to mention they are full of greed and enjoys much mortal pleasure and tried to overthrow the Greater Gods, their parents.

Since the event when the Great God was trying to overthrow the Greater Gods. The Greater Gods finally stops loving their children and their descendants as they see only darkness in them.

The Greater Gods and their parents have now secluded themselves on the 2nd part of the Heavens Realm. They are now becomes a legend to the Lesser Gods as their Great Gods elders tells them stories when they still roams the 3rd part of the Heaven Realms and how they regretted what they did before, as they keep looking at the invisible barrier separate them from them with longing and regret in their eyes.

Little did the know, they still come and go within the barrier as they have their own problems regarding the Dragons and other wild creatures around the barrier as they are supervising the protection around the barrier.

The Lesser Gods are allowed to enter the Great Realm, but with the permission of the Great Gods.

And the Lesser Gods who was allowed to go in is considered as a high class amongst the Lesser Gods.

And since the Great Gods was the one who proposes the clan system, they send one Great God representative of each element to the Mortal Realm to act as a leader and supervisor.

So yeah, Lesser Gods are just the wasted products thrown out to the Mortal Realm, basically worms.

I looked at the 20 male Lesser Gods and I see in their eyes is full of lust as they smirking at me and some of them licking his lips.

hmp.....just as you expected from the a Lesser Gods, since they have been thrown out from the Heaven Realm long enough, they slowly becomes greedy as they influenced by the mortals who are more greedy than they are, not to mention the Lesser Worms grew up in the Mortal Plane.

Even before I met Lyaga, I encountered similar to this scenario and I lost count how many I killed.

I look at them as I ask with a calm voice.

"Where is my son?"

Everyone gasp their breath after hearing my voice which capable to charm any person hearing them. They then regain their composure and returned their smirks and eyes of greediness.

I threatened them with a piercing eyes but instead of being scared, they just laughed at it as they thought I was adorable even when angry which is true, most of my enemies thinks so to, before they end up dead.

"Brothers! It looks like we have a tough one here"

"Second brother, allow me" A man in his 20s walks in front to me as he smiled gently which disgust me and he has a face that any woman could fall for.

"Allow me to introduced myself, I am Merlon from the Lightning God Clan"

The man smiles at me then introduced himself and his clan as he put his right hand on his chest and bowed.

"I presumed you worms belong to the lighting clan"

I look at the one called Merlon as I ask him a question.

Everyone's faces distorted with anger including the man who introduced himself a while ago as I insult them and calling them worms that they are.

"You fairy bitch!!!! Do you know who we are?"

The other man shouts at me as his face distorted with anger and a spark like lighting is coming out in his right hand as if to show who I'm dealing with. A bunch of worms shout at me and insulted me!!!

"I ask the same question, who you think you are!!!" my voice was loud as it vibrates throughout the surroundings.

""""Hahahaha"""""

As expected of a Lesser Worms, they can't even judges someone's strength, hehe....just keep laughing because that will me your last laugh. But as I waited the laugher to finally over, I grew impatient then ask again.

"For the last time and I will not repeat myself, where is my son"

The laughter died down and man who introduced himself earlier who I completely forgotten his name already came forward. But this time a gentle smile early change into a wicked one.

"Fairy bitch, do you know who you’re talking to, I am the heir of th rAaaAaaaaaAAAAAA"

I keep quiet but the Lesser Worm in front of me keeps blabbering garbage. I was already annoyed since earlier so.....

I snapped my fingers and the Lesser Worm in front of me slowly decaying and it lasted in 3 excruciating second before the Lesser Worm completely melted.

The magic I used was taught by my Best friend. It’s a higher form of < > magic. Its quite useful since I mainly used this magic against my enemies and use their bodies that I brought home as a fertilizer for the plants, flowers and trees in my palace garden which by the way was my son's favourite place as I teach him there all the time.

A Gods body surely was convenient in many ways.

The rest of the Lesser Worms was dumbfounded since one of them instantly die. The one with the already ugly face became uglier as his face distorted in anger. His body engulf in lightning as he dashed with a speed that ordinary people could only see a trails of spark around.

But in my eyes, his speed is like a turtle in its fastest speed which was still very slow.

I do not need to move as I already can control every element known to all. I just use my mind and controlled the ground in front of the Ugly Worm's direction.

I elevate the ground in front of the ugly Worm and forms a spear made of earth as it pierced it into the man's chest in the heart area and instantly die.

In the real time, it happens in just a split of seconds, but to the Lesser Worms it is quite unbelievable spectacle of speed and power.

It seems the one who attack me was their leader.

My already bad mood becomes sourer as I see the Lesser Worms becomes more annoying as their stupid faces shrouded with fear, some is trying to get away but I manipulate the earth around the area and covered the whole lower half of the body of all the Lesser Worms.

They can usually easily escape the earth that bounds them since their still gods, but the one who cast them was me so it's impossible.

The arrogance before turned into fear as they beginning to beg me to me to spare them.

This stupid Lesser Worms. Didn't I ask earlier where is my son and I won't repeat again? Yet they keep begging for their lowly worm like life.

I keep killing them by compressing the earth that bounds them up to their waist and crushed it, one after another until 9 of them were left.

Yet they keep begging and begging so I continued.

Only five of them are left. I was about to kill another one of the worms, one of the Worms talk.

"Yyyour Sssson"

The Lesser Worms who talked was the one that I was about to kill.

Finally!!! They could just tell me where my son is and we will be on our way, but what would you expect to a Lesser Worms fufufu.....

I was laughing inward.

I waited as I released the earth that binds the one who spoke earlier and waited. He then began chanting <> huh, hmp.... It's one of the magic that separate the Gods From mortals because only the gods could create their own dimensional pocket without using an artefacts’.

Then after his chanting has ended, a large magic circle appears in front of him and I saw my son on the middle of the circle laying on the ground unconscious. I was happy and so as the 5 Lesser Worms because they can keep their Worm like life. I then release their earth binding since i have no use to them as I ran towards my son happily.

"Lyaga!" I shouted happily with and a small tears drops between my eyes. As I getting nearer to my unconscious son, I halted my movements as I began to shaken as walk slower towards my son.

I felt anger as I release killing intent which stops the five man on their tracks as they are about to leave.

They were happy earlier as they're hugging each other while crying and as when they were about to leave.

They felt the biggest killing intent they have experienced. A much larger than what they have felt when their clan leader who was a Great God, as when he released his killing intent to warn the new borne that if there is a beings was who was much stronger than the gods living amongst us you must avoid them in any cost and specially do not venture the innermost unexplored forest located in the centre of the Mortal Realm, they were warned with a serious face coming from their Great God clan leader who was usually very arrogant and likes to look down on Mortals.

He didn't care about the Lesser Worms since they are below him, but he cared about himself and the clan for losing foothold in the Mortal Realm.

But one lesser god was curious as he tried to explore the forest, as he goes deeper he sees Silviana who was teaching a boy some magic at the side of the small clear lake.

The lesser god as he saw Silviana was love struck.

He then informs the other youth in their clan about the beautiful girl and tried to help him get the girl since gods can do anything as they please.

They spied at her and gathered enough information and found Silviana's weakness. It was his son and kidnaps him when his mother was away.

But they didn't expect I was strong and thought of me as a fairy which is a lesser beings. They then died one by one and they couldn't do anything about it.

I look at my son as I reach my hand in his right cheeks and saw a small slice and the blood is already dried out.

"I..I can expl.aHhHH" before the man said a word I use <> magic on him then died.

I swing my right arm then a blade of winds cuts through the remaining Worm's head as they were trying to flee.

How they a Lesser Worm hurt my son!! I healed my son's wound in the right cheeks. After I healed the wounds I used <> magic as its transports us in his room as I laid him down in his bed then left.

I used <> again and teleports me in the base of the Lightning God castle, I just passed the barrier that surrounded it like a thin paper.

And wreck havoc as I kill all the members of Lightning God clan. Some ran away from me, but I used gravity to make their bodies heavy and is getting heavier until they becomes a bloody paste.

Some bowed down in front of me, but I just passed him and keeps walking. The poor Worm seems to be happy and starting to laugh.

While he still bowing while laughing, I used <> on him and made him like a flat bloody frog.

But the Worms seems to be smart enough and organized quickly and used some kind of combined magic.

All of the worms grouped together while they holding hands in a circular form and began a long chant.

Stupid worms, who would want to wait to get attacked and who would like to get attacked. But I still waited to finish their 30 sec chant as I was thinking to surprise them and also entertaining me.

The clouds are now getting darker and it swirling at top of me, you could see sparking around the clouds and I am at up to the centre of it ready to strike.

The worms have finished their chant and suddenly purple lightning descended from the centre of the clouds and hits me. It continued to descend like a snake and seems to be not stopping until I was dead.

Of course the worms were happy and began to barging me with cursed words. They see me as I was engulfed by the purple lightning.

It didn't hurt me one bit. Now it’s my turn.

The worms continued their cursing on me, thinking I die with just this tiny bolt of electricity. I suddenly raised my arms. The Worms was dumbfounded they didn't think I was still alive as I was just standing there like a statue.

After I suddenly raised my arms, the purple lightning suddenly disappeared. But the dark clouds were still there and the sparking is not heard as if it is recharging silently which is right.

"Wwhat hhappen" ask the one of the Lesser Worms.

"H..hurry attaaAAaAa"

I didn't finish the other worm’s sentence. Since a bigger purple lightning descend at the top of their heads and is enough to engulf the 30 worms and turned into cinders without leaving a single flesh.

That's right, it was pretty anticlimactic. I keep killing while I leisurely walking towards the main castle.

I head towards the deeper section of their biggest castle and found the leader who was a Great God as I was ready to kill him. I ask.

"Are you ready to die?"

The Lightning God was shaking in fear as he mustered his last sentence as he answer.

"What did we do to offend you!!"

I answered "Your kin kidnapped my son and wounded him"

And kills him with a wind blade as his head rolling on the floor with a face of shocked and disbelieve.

On that day, the lightning clan was no more and the other clan was alerted as they thinking that the lightning clan has offend someone inside the unexplored forest and it will also be a great example to those other Lesser Worms to never offend the beings inside the Unexplored forest.

Don’t get me wrong I was just protecting my son as I was thinking that the Worms might take revenge if  I let them lived and I was just one step ahead of them.

And did I mention that while I was killing the Worms I saw an underground room and was curious so I head there and as I opened it even without using a hand. What I saw was a hundred of naked mortal females, some are elf, humans and mostly of them came from the beast man race.

There can be only one word that released in my mouth. "Disgusting"

I became expressionless as I saw many girls mumbling about 'for the gods' with and expressionless face. Clearly they are broken beyond repairs, some of them were pregnant and some of them was already given birth but I see the mother didn't care about the new born baby and just laying on the ground with an expressionless face as the baby tries to crawl up to feed on its mother's breast.

That's right; the Lesser Gods has now been degraded and become a lowlife. I may not care about anybody aside from Lyaga but I know what is the Lesser Worms was doing.

The power struggle in the 3rd Realms, as the time passes; the lesser Worms becomes to many and nearly reached 2 millions, and uses this as an opportunity to wage war against each other. And their power struggle came all the way to the Mortal Realm.

As the war goes on, the greediness of the Great gods goes up to another level; they ordered the lesser gods do reproduce many children to make use of them for the war against the other clans. And it doesn't matter if mortal or not so long it uses divine elements.

The worms orders the country of mortals they rules and tells them that they needed Celestial Maidens to serve them as wives, but the truth was grimmer, as the Celestial Maidens came happily into the hands of the gods, they were forced into a group sex to make sure a baby is ensured.

They realized the reality, the Gods they serve was just a lowlife like them with just a little bit higher powers than them

I pity them, after all I was almost becomes one of them when my shitty brother tried to raped me

But I didn't feel remorse.

I walk away at the scene as if I didn't see it. Before I leave, I activated my  <> to the entire Lightning God clan's territory and covers the whole 20 miles radius including the mountains around the premises  and scorching the whole area with an intense fire, making the mountain that the base stand melted to the intense heat and  made the Whole area flat.  'Smirk'

After I finished my task, I returned home and my servant said to me that my son was awake. I then hurriedly open the door in his room.

"Lyaga!" I then hugged my son who was sitting in the bed.

He was shocked because I usually cold and strict to my son and he ask me.

"Did......something happen?"

He was still shocked and disbelief.

I answer his question. I really want to cut some of my stories because it’s gruesome. And for some reason I can't seem to lie to my son and told him every details including the part I killed all the Lesser God form the Lightning clan and their Great God leader.

I was seating at the side of the bed as I looked down and holds my two hands while I was trembling. It was my first time to feel afraid after killing someone. I was afraid because my little Lyaga might leave me, after all. In my story I was like a villain.

My son then stands up on the bed. My first thought is that after he stands up.

I was thinking he might use this as an opportunity to badmouth me or even hurt me which is I will readily welcome openly, after all I am bad mother.

I seldom give him a rest and no time to play as I made him more occupied with his studies and more studies as I keep stuffing knowledge inside that tiny head of his.

He might use this as an opportunity to badmouth me or hurt me.

As I was sitting beside the bed while I slightly crouching down as I hold my hand while trembling. My thoughts went blank when I feel a soft warm small hand warping around me, my mind froze in a second.

"Mother.."

My son said with a clear, gentle and beautiful childish voice.

"W.wwhat"

I was stuttering and was nervous but my trembling stops after a warm feeling as my son hugs me.

"You've taken care of me since I was a baby. When I was three you start teaching many things. And if I didn't get a full score, you made me do it repeatedly until I perfected it, I become smart enough to read people's thought base on their expressions alone, after all you're the who taught me."

I keep quiet as I listen at my son as he continues.

"When I was four, I began to questioning my existence. Why am I different to anybody else? I watched others can do exactly the same as the other one. I was jealous and afraid at the same time. Jealous because I was different and mostly afraid because I might be abandoned if we’re not useful to you"

I was surprised at the last sentence and look up at see my son with a sign of pain on his face and made my heart aches and guilt for not loving him enough that he thinks he was not loved. He continues.

"There is one time I completed a difficult task, then you smiled. For the first time you smiled at me. Then it suddenly comes to me. As long as I can see that smile again, that sweet and gentle smile to me heart will be content. I already accepted the fact that if I don't do good enough to pleased you I will be thrown out so I work very hard thinking I will receive a smile coming from you again"

My tears won’t stop flowing, my throat becomes dry. I didn't know my son lingering such dark thoughts or maybe I just choose to ignore it.

It's true, there was one time that my son accomplished a difficult task I give him last time, and I subconsciously smiled at him.

I was always proud of him, he was smart and he already learned and mastered almost half of my knowledge I known.

I give him tasks after he mastered a new knowledge and skills coming from me and try it first hand as he will not be ignorant when he uses it in a life and death situations.

He clumsily did some of task I give him as I secretly watch him, but not one time the task I gives him failed. I was always proud of him but I didn't show it to my son as I was afraid and I was unfamiliar of this feelings slowly getting in me.

My past bloody self still linger in me as I was rouge, merciless and lack of emotions and kills anyone I came across until I met Lyaga.

I didn't even save his mother even though she can still be save, and out of whim, pity, curiosity I saved the baby that was Lyaga.

But the pity, whim, curiosity turned into a warmth and salvation to me as I greedily spoiled myself and not thinking about my son's point of view until now.

I bursts into tears as I hug my son tightly who has a pained face in his face as he tells me his point of views of me.

Then a realization comes to me.

A flashback comes in my mind as I see my son when he comes back after he finished his task with a tattered dirty clothes but it did not matter to him as he wears bright smile in his face and he looks at me with expectant eyes but the only thing I give him was my usual cold look and gives him a cold shoulder. Then I said.

"Next time do it properly" I said that with no hint of remorse.

"Y..yes" His voice was wavering as he suddenly stand straight. The bright smile was changed into a force smile and his eyebrows meet each other as it goes up when it meets one another and I could see clearly in his eyes that he was forcing something inside him to not to burst out.

I walk away and didn't look back at that time. When I saw his tattered dirty looks and some scratches all over his body, my heart suddenly tightens and I thought this feeling was a disdain.

But now, after my son disappeared I became restless and powerless as I could only wait for a news regarding the disappearance of my son, then a servant came in with a letter and it tells about some Worms kidnapped my son and if I do not come he will kill my son.

Out of frustration and anger I disintegrate the servants that give me the letter. And walks outside the castle and fly in a speed of light. I arrived at the meeting site and saw not one but 20 Lesser Worms. I kill them one by one out of frustration and impatience.

Then one worm finally confessed as he pulls out my son off the in Dimensional pocket. I could just killed all of them instantly and search their Lesser Core if my son was in there but I did not for I was pissed.

But when I saw my son as I hurriedly ran towards him but then I saw a wound on his cheeks. Suddenly my view turns red and I kill the rest of the worms.

I then transport my unconscious son towards his room and I teleport in the Lightning God clan’s base as I kill all of their members out of vengeance.

I cried heavily as I hug my son and I ask for forgiveness about what I've done. We keep hugging each other until my tears were no more. He said.

"You don't have anything to apologized mother; after all you did raise me properly and as grew I come to understand and realized your personality"

"What 'sniff' personality?” I ask my son as I didn't know what is he's talking about.

"Hm...Let see...Oh yeah, about after I mastered my sense, since then I could feel you and were watching far away from me. Then there is one time when Aunt came to visit when you were away and say about you personally sends a servant in hell because she just broke a base............"

He keeps talking about my good and bad personality but mostly bad since it outweighs my good personality. I was embarrass of course and my face is bright red, after all he tells me what embarrass me the most as I keep it hidden within me. He then talks about what he heard from my Best friend when we were on an adventure together.

I bury my face in his little chest out of embarrassment and after he stops talking, I ask him.

"You’re not mad at me"

"Do you regret adopting me?"

My question was placed on another question; I was surprised and quickly raised my head as I look at my son's face who was smiling brightly.

"I course not" that was I said

"Then that's your answer"

He smiled gently at me, as he pat my head with his small little hand and gently strokes it. When he pats my head, I feel that the heavy feeling which was accumulated throughout the years since my brother's event completely disappears.

He then said.

"No matter what you are, what you did in the past, or what will you become...."

He pauses and he hug me tightly as his right hand is stroking my head then he continues.

"Even you hated me. Even you will hate yourselves, even the world’s end"

My tears that I thought was gone are starting to flow as if a new oasis was found inside of me.  This is a new hope a new start.

"I will always there for you and support you"

I hear his every words loud and clear and as if each of those words is like a magic spell that have been engraved my very own heart and soul so that I will not remember.

"You promise"

I look at my little Lyaga who was still five, yet his every words contains many meanings and he was more mature than me. Is it because of my cold personality and my teaching made him mature quickly? or is it the fact that he thought I will abandon him if he will not be the best of the best and made him pressured.

Only my Lyaga will know, but in fact I was mostly to blame why he turned the way he is now made me guilty and my heart is in pain when I think of it.

There may be someone or some places has/have ability to where the time is slower and where time is faster. But not I have seen places or someone can come and go travel across time. For the universe prevent us to do so as we might or we will destroy ourselves in the process.

I have thought of this for I hurt my son and it cannot be change.

But my son didn't blame me nor he curses me and he was more grateful of what he becomes because of me. He accepted all of me.

I forever remember what I did to Lyaga for the rest of my life.

As I look at Lyaga with a reassuring eyes as he swear to me that he will accepted all of me.

"Yes I promise"

Yet another word was engraved into my heart and soul I will forever remember for the rest of my life.

"Really"

He smiled at me brightly which I thought I didn't deserve, he look at me and saw my still doubtful face.

Then he close his eyes while crossing his small arms, I see his expression keeps changing by the second as if he was conflicted by something. He then opens his eyes and I see his eyes were shining. He said

"Mom, can you close your eyes for a moment"

I was startled but I ask him while my eyes were still red and swollen after crying as I look at him.

"Why" I ask.

"Hm....let’s see. Since you still doubtful of me, I will use a magic that will seal a deal"

"Ancient magic?"

Human magic huh.....they were weird even their existence is weird. They are one of the many creatures natives in the Mortal Plane as they naturally evolved from a lower intelligence species into a higher intelligent.
