Identity No.28, case 2

Identity No.28, case 2

"Hier ist Weiss Valentine, in der Charité Klinik spricht......"

Weiss takes a deep breath, supports her body up and puts a voice recorder close to her lips.

"OK, let's do it again." she murmurs, "Here is Weiss Valentine, message from Charité. So, what date is today......"

She pauses a while, her voice sounds hesitated.

"Basically, I'm good, I mean......not in that general way but still alive, not be arrested, not get murdered. For those still follow my channel Die Aussenwelt and my blog page, I want to say thanks to all of you. Sorry....." she rubs her eyes, "I guess I might get injured last night, not sure what's going on yet, not even sure the date today. Maybe I'll make it more coherent on the next update, since there's......extreme pain at my head and ribcage. By the way, staffs from government came here this morning, some of them are agents from U.S.S.A I pretty sure. They stands outside my door right now and I guess......" she glimpses towards the door, "They are sent to watch me. But as usual, they never had found my recorder."

Sweat effuses through her skin, wets her hair like it glues on her skin. Weiss grabs one corner of the sheet, with the other hand press on her wound.

"The nurse has changed my bandage half-hour ago, and disappeared till now.......I think I have to call them back after finish recording, because it hurts so much and almost beyond my burden, and I can't stop my body quivering. The effect of anesthetic is gone faster than usual, and I'm afraid I have had too much tranquilizer doses before which caused my body resistence to it......These are all I've known and thought right now, and yeah......keep in touch. I'm not losing hope yet, promise me you won't lose hope either."

As Weiss speaks her last word, sound of movement comes from outside, makes her alerted. She hides the recorder fast back to her sleeve.

"What's the sitch now?" a deep voice calls.

"Not in danger," the nurse says, "But she's still weak now, better not to impulse her yet."

"Thanks, we just want to met her for a second. Her sister worries about her."

The door opens. Weiss lies on the bed, with the breath hold tight. The only sound she could hear is her heartbeat and the air flowing.

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

"You just don't give up, do you?"

Silent.

"No need to pretent, Miss Valentine. You won't press your wound under the body if you are really awake." he says in firm, "I just want to have a talk."

Weiss can't help but opens her eyes.

"Have we......ever met before, sir?" she mubmles, "You looks familiar."

"U.S.S.A agent Nemo Wedenheim," Nemo says, "I remember your sister was missing 3 years ago. "

"Have you got her news?" Weiss leans herself up, but falls to the pillow again due to the pain.

"I wish I have," Nemo says in calm, "But that's not my purpose today. I have questions for you about last night."

He can read through Weiss' eyes, that flame of hope fades away.

"Do you think it's the proper time?" Weiss utters in cold manner, "I'm not in good shape right now as you can see. I need rest. Leave the room please."

"I'm afraid that's not up to you."

"Don't I have my human right as an European citizen? I am a decent person and I have no criminal record. You don't have the right to order me......"

"Yes Miss Valentine, surely we have the right. Our principle is to clear any security threat in any place, any time and any case, not need to mention that we are facing the Berlin Summit now."

"Security threat?" Weiss coughs as she tries to defend herself, "What did I do to threat your security, may I ask? Of course you will mention those articles and blogs, I suppose? I won't speak a word, and that's my attitude. Your inquiry is illegal and I will never answer your question without my lawyer......"

She coughs even harder. Nemo stares at her without sympathy.

"Call the doctor......"

"Before you cooperate, Miss Valentine," he speaks in cruelty, "Try to be awake. The pain will help."

"No!" Weiss moans as her hand covers the wound harder, "Please......at least bring some drugs!"

"Why did you move to the apartment Rosenmeer?" Nemo asks with disregard.

"It's just an interview session, why?"

"Your boss told me that they never set this session for Der Spiegel."

"I did it myself......on my Blink Channel. For god sake......bring me the drug!"

"We're not finished yet. Do you know who lived in your room last night?"

"There is a girl, from Ukraine I thought......she calls herself Natasha and nothing more."

"But why did you direct at her?"

"What are you talking about..."

"The girl, Natasha," Nemo emphasizes harder, "Why did you insist on renting room 308, even it was occupied? The landlord must tell you before."

"Is that so important? I don't know who she is. I just like the number 308. I rent it everytime when I get to D37. Ask the landlord if he told you like this! "

Nemo says no more. He turns back to the door and calls outside.

"Luna, are you satisfied with the answer?"

"Not a single puntuation." Kevi says straightforward.

She pushes the door open. Weiss watches her holds the laptop on hand.

"Natasha?" she says in slight fear, "What's that for?"

"Explain those photos, Miss Spy," Kevi shows her the screen, "And the terrorists with you in Paris."
