The amount of riot police in D37 is increasing in an observable speed. The checkpoint Kevi broke through last night has been repaired with three more obstacles and doubled security guard added. Along the way to the apartment Rosenmeer, Kevi can see armored vehicles passing by the street, rolling the dust and snow to the air, and drones buzzling around and scanning the building nearby. Hard to believe this area is not some warzone thousand kilos east, but part of Berlin, the heart of CES, one of the remained superpower of the world.
"Everybody in the city is getting weaker and allergic," Nemo says to her, "Not only them, but also us, and our visitor arriving today."
"Yeah, same as you." Kevi glimpses at her two side-----surrounded by two armed agents in-guard.
"Is the bag so important," Nemo asks, "That you must come back yourself to get it?"
"I wouldn't say that important as Level III," Kevi replies, "But those are my stuffs."
5 minutes later they arrive at the apartment, in front of the cordon line. Nemo gets off the car and walks to an officer. The officer nods and gestures his colleagues to make way.
"Sometimes the priviledge is useful," Nemo puts back his ID card, opens the door for Kevi, "Usually they would block the entire building, but they could spare you 10 minutes by accompanied."
"Thanks, nomenklatura," Kevi shows a sly grin to him, "10 minuets will be too overused."
She enters the gate, steps on the stair with a riot police tailing her behind. Things are changed a lot after last night gunshot, especially the stink around the floor disappeared. Seems like the riot police cleared out some marijuanas by the way they came. She appreciates lot.
As they reach to the floor 3, the bad memory of last night reveals again, makes Kevi chill a bit. She excuses herself to the riot police, that she has to do something personal inside the wash-room, requests him stand by the door and wait for her. As the riot police walks away, Kevi locks the door, and picks a Type-54 "Black Star" pistol inside the toilet tank. She checks the bullet and the barrel, sighs with a slight smile. Then she opens the door, drags her bag under the bed. So far so good, she thinks, about 300 euros, her 27 fake credentials, a carbon alloy dagger, a small lockpick and a USB disk that Auga sent to her. No more no less, and nobody has touched before.
As Kevi stands up and ready to leave, her foot is stumbled by something stick-like. It is the luggage from Weiss Valentine, which she recognizes.
A flash of idea runs into Kevi's mind. She looks back, makes sure that riot police is still ouside and she has plenty of time left. She kneels down the ground and opens the thing with lockpick, and fingers inside those plenty of colorful clothes. Then she finds that pink hello-kitty laptop under the cover. Watches the password when turning on, Kevi smiles in complacent. She plugs Auga's gift in the laptop and operating the hacker program, then types 123xyz and unlock it.

The wallpaper is a very depressed photo portrays a lighthouse amidst the heavy storm, which surprises Kevi somewhat. She thought it would be a cuter image resembles the hello-kitty style on the shell. She opens the photo folder and searching around by chance. To her disappointment, none of those are personal related. Most of them are just city scale or village view, some are animals like cats, dogs and hummingbird hawk-moth.
Then comes her an idea. She clicks the "Show hidden folder" button. Now it's time for her eyes wide-opened: Lots of new folders, nearly double the amount. She checks them one by one, in expect of finding some background about that Miss Strange.
"'Sample from Chechenya, Jun 15, 2030', 'Sample from Kiev, Jun 27, 2030', 'Sample from Prague, Jul 3, 2030'," Kevi murmurs, "What's she doing......"
Follows by the time back, she finds a fold named with "Die Familiaer Reise nach Paris". About 17 photos inside. Weiss herself of course, dressed in a schoolyard-ish plaid skirt and white T-Shirt, with a big nerdy glass; A tall and strong male with a buzzcut, embraces a black-haired girl from behind; another young blonde in overalls, chewing gum and blowing bubbles. She had a rose tatooed on her arm. To whom Kevi has absolutely no idea.
"Could be her alleged 'sister'?" Kevi frowns as she looks at the girl being hugged, "Wait......"
She's too shocked to make a sound.
"Me?"
No, such ridiculous. She never had met them before. That girl......with black hair and green eyes though, but such similar with Kevi in features, especially the wink while her grinning to the camera. Suddenly all the issues seems connected now: Weiss' moving in last night which almost throws her out of the street, then the attacking police who were not supposed to know her location......
Kevi puts the laptop in her bag, opens the door without mentioning the riot police.
"Where are you going?"
Regardless of his question and following behind, Kevi runs to the second floor, at the landlord------Mr. Chekov's room.
Bang---
Chekov stares at her in rounded eyes, as Kevi rushes inside.
"What, Natasha......"
"Get out, Alex," Kevi speaks to a boy lying on the floor playing toy, who's almost freaking out, "I'm talking to your uncle."
Alex stands up, with tears filled in his eyes. He might think that his "Sister Nat" is gonna kill Uncle Chekov.
"Whatever you might thought about me, Natasha......" Chekov says in fear, "I don't know who they are......"
Before he finishes, Kevi tramples on his chest, with the pistol point at his forehead.
"Hard to understand," Kevi utters in cruel manner, "You selling me out."
She unloads the magazine, make the sharp edge close to Chekov's face.
"No! It's a mistake......I'm renting rooms for those who paid, that's all!"
"What are you talking about?"
"That woman! Miss Valentine! She ordered the room 308 one week ago. I've told her that room 308 is not available because you lived there, but she insisted the room, 308, no other option, and paid me half-years rent one-time! Since you owed the bill for so many times, I have no reason to deny her!"
"Weiss?" Kevi self-whispers, "Who is she?"
The door opens. Nemo comes in and stands between her and the riot police.
"It's fine, I'll handle this," he turns to Kevi, "Let go of him, Luna......come on, let's go."
He takes her pistol away, hides inside his pocket, and drags her out of the room, directly downstairs to the car.
"What are you doing?" Nemo shuts the door and starsts the engine, leaves the apartment immediately, "Jesus we don't want to conflict with riot police, that may leak your real identity! Why did you draw out the weapon?"
He sends the pistol back to Kevi.
"I'm sending you to the airport right now," Nemo says, "The later we arrive, the messier the airport will be. We have two foreign leaders arrive at same place today."
"Supervisor, can you stop by the Charité for a second?" Kevi speaks like she never hear Nemo's words, "I need a quick meeting there."
"Why?"
"Important," she watches the front, "I think I've found some clues......about last night. I must figure it out."
