Within the room of a certain inn; a grown blonde woman sat with her legs crossed and resting against the backrest of her chair. In front of her was the virtual screen that revealed the rest of her small but mighty family however she couldn’t smile at what she was hearing.
Appearing patient as she heard the story of her oldest daughter yet feeling quite the opposite.
Her hands tightly clenched the arm rests, revealing the whites of her knuckles, as she did everything she could to resist losing control of her emotions in front of her children. Long had both herself & husband taught their children the importance of self control.
Anger was a poor man’s tool they should not use.
Rage was an emotion that clouded one's vision and thus caused incorrect actions to be made.
Only with the full vision of the future could her children make the best decisions - her children were too important to make silly mistakes like yelling at their subordinates for failing. Not everyone can be expected to be as perfect as those three, after all.
If they saw their mother getting angry it would make for a bad example.
She couldn’t help looking at her husband's face which made her smile sardonically at how well that husband of hers could control his anger.
He was always better at that stuff which isn’t usual considering his status yet the same could also be said for her. “Despite my background, he has always been better when it comes to the messy stuff than I have been.”
Additionally, she wasn’t the only one smiling.
The room soon enveloped in inky darkness, the only light coming from the system window in front of her, as shadows crawled out from the holes within the wooden boards to swallow the entirety of the large (for this time period) room. Her face only became more visible as the only light shined on her face.
From behind her - ripples forming in the ocean of darkness - an eerie large set of fangs appeared with a set of three eyes filled with galaxies painted red from untold levels of bloodshed.
That maw curled up into a grin that went far beyond what a person could reasonably be expected to produce. The shadows that made it’s body trembled as it seemed to peer over the mother’s shoulder to watch the invisible screen.
“Why did that supposed teacher of hers not do anything to help… Maybe she needs to be fixed if she finds such pleasure in my sweatiest suffering.” Her attention fell on the tiny figure who seemed to be taking great amusement at the awkwardness that was radiating from her eldest daughter.
Fortunately she wasn’t physically strong or those arm rests would be gone.
Grinding her teeth behind her lips that offered a smile to assuage her daughters worries that she would be angry at her for getting hurt.
Her thoughts of getting one of her family's “cleaners” faded as the shadows that surrounded her began to weave itself together in a beautiful dance of ink. The last thing to be dragged in was the terrifying face which also signalled the room returning to light once again.
This all led to what looked like a little black cat appearing on the plump lap of the woman.
That surprised her but she soon suppressed it in favour of ruffling the cat’s fuzzy ears - the cat having certain unique features that made them stand out. First of which were the countless blue lines ingrained in the fur due to various injuries. A bite was taken out of one ear while leaving them with a stubby little tail.
“What are you doing, Antenata?” Asking the cat as if it could understand her. The mystical looking feline ended up rolling on its back to show off its fuzzy little chest as it pawed the woman’s hand.
Just playing with the magic cat had allowed her to forget about her anger however the cat soon developed a grin akin to the one that appeared in the shadows. Seeing that didn’t surprise her, however, nor did it shock her when the cat began to speak. “Do nyot ny~ink about taking on ny~at lizard nya.”
Though the cat’s actual words are what shocked her (at least she was able to understand the cat speak).
The cat’s voice was very sly yet sleepy; as if she had been working for hours but still thought she was smarter than everyone else in the room.
Something that was likely true.
Still she stopped petting the cat as she thought about the words only for those little paws to drag the hand back over with black claws that appeared metallic.
“Do I need to worry about anyone when you can just kill them?” Asking the adorable cat that lay on her lap while enjoying herself some bellyrubs - that malevolent feline purring at the expert massage from the queen of the Porshi fortune. “Well I may~eow be able to fight her if I use my~eow full strength but killing ny~at brat is something only ny~e bastard could do ‘n’ maybe nyot even he could…”
Stretching out her little body in iconic cat fashion. “Plus I ny~at is with my~eow true strength; I likely wouldn’t even be able to protect nyou with me~ow having to rely on nyour power~!”
Hearing that brought a frown to her face. “So I can’t even protect my children with my current strength.”
“To be fair… I do nyot knyow if she’s is stronger or weaker ny~an she originally was but I know ny~at even she’d likely be on the backfoot against ny~e one who took the eye nyahaha~.” Cat seemingly not caring about the negative atmosphere that overcame her humanoid servant of choice.
“So I need to get stronger… Status.”

Looking at the levels of her children she knew she was falling behind in level despite having an advantage over two of them. Thankfully the video talk had already closed else her children would have seen a coldness on her face that could make them unable to even recognise her. “Will you help me?”
“Nyou’ll nyever be able to beat ny~at genius but I do nyot mind spoiling nyou; it’d be a shame if one of ny~e brats ended up killing nyou nyahaha~!” Her supposed contract’s smile became all the more menacing as she sunk into the shadows between her thighs.
Regina was already used to the chaos that the kitten often brought along with her.
Standing up she decided to head out the city so that she could at least help her children protect themselves even if they’d be stronger than her.
Plus… It helped that she had the cat.

Within one of the many gyms located in Frux; a certain blonde haired boy was lying on his back as he pushed how much he was able to lift with sweat covering his forehead. His muscles screamed at him that he had done enough for the day but what was the point if he didn’t push beyond?
He always felt like his body just felt “wrong” so exercise ended up becoming a regular way for him to take his mind away while hopefully doing something to fix that.
Additionally he didn’t actually just lift weights but learned to fight from someone he couldn’t help think of as unbeatable in a fight due to their mastery of more weapons that he knew the names of. That weird nun didn’t even care about guns being pointed at them. Though it was definitely unusual how that same monster refused to teach him how to use anything but a sword.
As such he ignored the aching of his arms to continue lifting the weights.
Unfortunately it seemed that he truly wasn’t able to handle any of his muscles visibly trembling under the weight as he saw his life flash before his eyes. Yet before those weights could crash down on him a single hand slid under the bar. Keeping it held there with complete ease while those black metal nails shimmered under the light.
Turning to the figure of course revealed the familiar nun-wearing titan who wore the exact same sly smirk that they always had on. For as long as he could remember…. That smile had never vanished from the lips - not even when facing gangsters did the nun show anything other than amusement.
Surprisingly no snarky lines came out as the actually held a phone to their ear with a slight annoyance being present in their voice. Whoever on the other side must have been impressive. “I just visited there for a tinney winnie bit so there is no need to- no, no, I didn’t use one of those pods since it’s a waste of time when I can jus-”
The sound of the call being disconnected echoed through the gym as the smile remained yet their hands ended up clenching causing the phone to shatter. Meanwhile the weights clattered onto either side of the bench as the metal rod holding them snapped in half.
That the nun just took a refreshing breath as if nothing was wrong.
Next turning down to the boy under her with that punchable smirk still clearly visible upon those plump lips of hers. “Say… I don’t suppose you have any interest in gaming. As it is, I just so happened to get my hands on some VR Pods in addition to beta keys for a new game~!”
Somehow the teen boy felt that he couldn’t say no.
