I woke up this morning, 6 months after the start of my new academy, to a loud BOOM. I looked outside the window to try to see what was going on, but all I could see was rain dripping down my window from the gray sky that loomed above. I tried to depict any sort of smoke or something that could be linked to an explosion, but I had no luck doing so.
Crawling out of bed, I looked around for Chad, but I couldn't find him. I decided to check my clock that I had put on the wall and saw that I was 2 hours late for classes. I got my uniform on to have at least some clothes on when investigating that explosion since I would rather check out some explosion over my classes. We had our exams next week, however, I heard an explosion, so I don't feel like going to class at the moment.
Running out of the large door to the academy, I look to my immediate left and saw people fighting, before hearing an older man, the Headmaster, on the announcement system.
"This is not a drill. Our academy is being attacked. I repeat. Our academy is being attacked. All students must be at the gymnasium in five minutes or we will lockdown without you," he stated firmly.
I had a hard time finding out where I was supposed to go without Chad helping me, and he even called me directionally challenged. Five minutes is a tough deadline to meet for someone who is directionally challenged, but I tried to remember where the gymnasium was. In my search, I saw something on the floor in one of the halls. I decided to walk over to it and check what it was, but when I did, I noticed it was a person.
With haste, I put my hand to the girl's chest to check for their pulse. I felt a very faint pulse, so I decided to heal them with my newest spell, "Super Heal," a lifesaver if you ask me. There is a heavy mana toll, but that didn't bother me much, because over the past few months, I had gotten much stronger and therefore this was no problem for me.
The girl woke up, and I told her to hurry to the gymnasium. I had also told her about me being directionally challenged, so she led the way. We found the gymnasium a minute or so later and ran as fast we could to the doors before they closed. We entered the gymnasium and saw a lot of students and professors sitting around, with the professors on some sort of stage.
"Are you okay?" I asked the girl.
"I think so. Something that felt like a sword stabbed me, and I saw the sword go through me. How did you fix me?" She asked, a bit of admiration in her eyes.
"I can't really tell you, but the important part is that I did. Wait, didn't they say they had a barrier? How did that happen?" I couldn't figure it out. If something got in here, they had to have been a student or a professor. Which meant that she might've been stabbed by a professor, or a student. "Wait here."
I walked up to the stage and motioned for the Headmaster, who was in the back talking to the other professors, to talk to me for a second.
"Ah, Kas, How can I help you?" The Headmaster asked with a worried face.
"I have information that a student here, or a professor may be a traitor. One of the students was stabbed, and I healed her. Isn't there a barrier that only allows students and other professors?" I asked with concern.
"Yes, you're right. This is a rather bad situation, a trusted professor may be trying to kill you students and us professors," he furrowed his brow and thought, before thanking me and reuniting with the other professors.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
I walked back over to the girl and waited.
"What happened?" She asked.
"I told them there may be a traitor among them because there is a barrier around the school," I replied.
She didn't reply, she only bit her lip.

Less than thirty minutes, another explosion was heard near the entrance of the gymnasium, and the door flung open. The lockdown had been put in place a while ago, and yet this person had gotten in?
"Hello, Headmaster, or should I say Pyrilis?" The man said with a smile. Unlike the professors and the Headmaster who wore robes, this man had heavy black armor on, "I have no intention of hurting the other students or your professors. Not even you, Pyrilis. However, what I really want is the SSS potential boy named Kas!"
The Headmaster gasped. How did this information get out? He hadn't told anyone, and only Kas' father had known. Unless, when they spoke, someone was listening in?
"Well done, Xavier, you found out. Well, I'm sorry, but he's not coming with you," the Headmaster stated, and then jumped at Xavier with a glowing sword in his hand.
Xavier summoned a pure black sword in his hand as well, and then blocked his attack with a loud BANG!
"You've aged, Pyrilis. I'm stronger than you now," the man in black said before he pushed the Headmaster back with a shove. The Headmaster grunted and pushed Xavier back.
"Are you that arrogant?" The Headmaster asked with a serious expression, "Have I not taught you that arrogance is the downfall of any man?"
Xavier winced and infused his sword with darkness mana, using his secret spell [Prison of Darkness]. The Headmaster smiled and then used [Enhanced Body] to try to overpower Xavier while he conjured his [Prison of Darkness] spell. Pyrilis didn't realize, however, that Xavier was using his spell as a decoy.
A minute later, Xavier smiled and a large amount of wind could be felt coming from above Pyrilis. He looked up and saw a sword coming down on him. If he moved to deflect it, he would die by Xavier.
With a yell, he pushed towards Xavier to try to get out of the way, but he had no luck doing so.
I felt useless. I wanted to help, I wanted to be useful to the Headmaster in any way I could. I was crying because of how useless and powerless I was.
Think! What can I do?! Use the knowledge from the last six months, self! Come on! Please!
And then a memory struck him like a knife; [Destroy].
He imagined the sword of darkness exploding to nothingness. This sword was no ordinary sword, however. It was an Ancient-grade Artifact of Darkness, the sword of the God of Darkness, Tenebris. How Xavier got access to this sword, it confused even the creator of it, but she was enjoying watching the commotion, so she let him have his fun. A wicked smile appeared on her face.
He used Light for the element to ensure it's a success, due to the fact that Darkness was weak to Light, and a bright light spread from his palms in a reverse cone shape and he smiled as he cast the spell that would get him recognition for all of history; [Destroy].
As he used nearly all of his mana to destroy the sword, he cast another spell which put him very close to death; [Air Spike].
This air spike shot at Xavier as Kas fell unconscious from the tremendous amount of mana he just used, with a smile on his face.
And the next thing he knew, he was in the clouds, with someone he could only guess was a god because of their massive aura.
"You've come, finally. It took a lot of effort to get you here, you know," the mysterious god said, "I am the Sun God, Solus. It is nice to meet you, hero."
"Solus?! Am I dreaming?!" I exclaimed excitedly, practically yelling.
"No, I can confirm you are not dreaming. I am here to tell you a couple of things; one, you almost died, and two, because you almost died, I believe some spells have returned to your memory, Overgod," Solus replied while smiling.
