I walked out of my bland room, a smile plastered on my face. As I walked out of my room into a long hallway, I was greeted by the same maid as earlier. I looked towards her, her face one of a little bit of fear. I could understand that, because who would think that a child that is two years old could speak fluently?
Sighing, I walked up to her. However she may feel, I need to let her know I mean no harm to her or the family. I'm just an ordinary guy, after all.
"Hey. I know it may seem weird that a two-year-old is talking fluently, but I assure you that I don't even know what's going on myself," I said with a wry smile. I didn't want her to think I was a demon or something like that who invaded a small child's body.
"I know. It's just a bit surreal to me. I'm sorry, it'll be a while before I can get the hang of it," the maid replied. With a little bit of weight off my shoulders, I walked away with a nod.
My only goal at this point is to explore the world around me, and in particular, my current dwelling.
The walls and floor around me were similar to my bland little room's, with walls that were created out of stone and wood, and the floor was a spotless wooden floor. I couldn't tell if this was a rich house or if it was a rather poor house because I've never seen a noble's house.
The information I gathered from my mother yesterday included nobility, guild ranks, and magic 'ranks,' if you will.
Nobility is split up into parts; baronet, baron, viscount, earl, marquis, duke, and then the royalty, prince, princess, king and the queen.
Alongside that, the king and queen have their advisers, which are always at the Duke rank or just barely below it, however, they are above the Duke rank, yet below the prince. Needless to say, they're powerful people.
The guild ranks are pretty basic, from SSS to E, they are SSS, SS, S, A, B, C, D, F, E. SSS is the highest rank possible.
Magic 'ranks' are very similar, and your entire strength is based upon letters, F-SSS. If you are SSS, then your potential in the future is further than even some gods. People have to go to the church to find out their ranks, but most people call the ranks their 'Potential.' F potential is the potential to be a farmer or even less than that. Most of these people don't amount to much, however, some people went even further than their F potential. Some people have become S potential from being an F. The string of fate remains unknown on how they work.

Everyone is granted their potential at the tender age of 5. Being two years old, I was giddy, and at the same time, impatient. Couldn't I have been at the very least 4 years old?
At that exact time, a thought occurred to me. Couldn't I just ask my user assistant if they could tell me my potential? You never know until you try.
I can indeed measure your potential.
I tripped on absolutely nothing because of the user assistant's intrusion. I forgot that it could read my mind. I also haven't even thought of a name for it or even the gender of it.
I don't have a gender, but, according to your memories, you'd prefer a female.
I stood up from the wooden floors and shook my head, hoping for some restrictions from my mind in the future. Would she watch as I- no, we're not going there. I put my hand on my chin as I looked at the roof for whatever inspirational wisdom it could offer.
A few more minutes of roof-praising later, I finally chose Ruby and I thanked the roof for its non-existent service. I still wondered what my potential is.
I've calculated your potential. You have SSS potential.
With a gasp, I, once more, fell to the floor and cried of joy. I could do almost anything now! I could protect the ones I loved! I could not contain my joy for a brief period of time, so the maid came over and tried asking what was wrong, but I didn't answer because of my pure joy.
After about an hour, I got up and continued walking around. I was admiring the house I lived in, and personally, I think it looked pretty good. Maybe not as good as a Viscount or Earl's house, but it was good nonetheless. After a bit more walking, I came across a fairly large door. My house wasn't enough to be a mansion, but it was close enough, so I was happy to live where I was living. I opened the wooden door with a push, and found a fairly old-looking man in a chair by a desk, writing into a 'journal' of sorts.
He turned around and looked at me, and looked somewhat confused.
"Kas?"
"Hello, and who are you?"
This startled him, and he looked like he saw a ghost or something.
"Since when can you talk this fluently?! Who stole my boy?"
"I've no idea myself, but I'd assume you're my father then?"
"I... what? Who are you?!"
"Listen, I woke up here and I have no idea myself. I've already talked to Mother."
"You did? Fine, what do you need?"
"I was just exploring the area."
"Exploring the area, eh?"
"I mean, I did just wake up and have no memories whatsoever."
"Yeah, okay. My name is Robert Ravenwood, your father," he said with a hesitant look on his face. Understandable, really.
"So, what I really want to know is if you can teach me magic?" I asked with a smile. I haven't learned much magic, but due to the fact I have a SSS potential, I should be okay, right?
"Yeah, possibly. I never was good at magic, my potential being D and all. Having said that, do you know your potential?"
"I do, and I can say I'm able to learn."
"What's your potential?"
"I, uh..."
"Come on, spit it out!"
"It's SSS!"
The room went very silent.
