Bi clan mansion
After leaving the Chu mansion Bi Qing Han made her was to her father's mansion located in the capital city Hokudai, it was a mansion located in the noble district and its size and splender indicated its owners wealth and status.
Head of Military affairs, and Great General Bi Hai nicknamed the "Guardian diety of the royal capital" he was the only general in history, allowed to keep his entire army in the royal capital.
that happened during his days on the front lines, he was a only a newly appointed great general at the time and the state of Sai was facing the full brunt of a coalition army of all the other sates.
On a whim he realized the plot of the enemy. they're plan was to spread the state of Sai's army thin and then launch a sneak attack on the capital city, after figuring out the plan he took ninety percent of his army and crossed over the mountains and towards the capital.
luckily enough he surprised the enemy army before they could lay seige to the city, this earned him his title and position. None could argue his heroic and brave deed. he became a national hero.
at the time Chu Hai and Mei Lìxúe's father Mei Ten were both just one-thousand man commanders under him, while Chu Hai is from humble birth, Mei Ten was from an aristocratic Mei family his father was the Head of Administration for the state of Sai.
After arriving at the mansion Bai Qing Han let Mei Lìxúe go off on her own to pay visits to her cousins who are currently staying at the mansion while she made her way towards her father's study.
She knew it was important, after she received a letter of summond by her father which was wrapped in a jade slip notifying its importance, she knew in her heart it wasn't good news.
sure enough after knocking at her father's study door, and was signalled to enter by a deep and ver commanding voice, she entered. Her heart dropped, just by looking at those present in the room, her fear became a reality.
from the left was her older brother and second son Bai Mu, next to him was her oldest brother and future head of the family Bai Jio, next to him was her father Bai Hai seated next to him was her mother Shi Kika next to her was Bai Qing Han's younger sister and brother Bai Ka and Bai Rui.
After she walked in she greeted them.
"Hello Father, mother, eldest and elder brothers, fourth sister and fifth brother. It's been too long"
everybody smiled and responded, it was clear that the Bai family weren't like other typical noble families, they all had good relationship amongs them, and there was rivalry only love and respect.
with a sigh the head of the family stated
"Ok lets leave the greetings for later, we have urgent buisness to discuss, Han'er please have a seat"
with a nod she sat down and the conversation began with her father passing her a letter, and on it was the royal seal, cold sweat immediately poured out her back, with shaky hands she started reading it.
after she did she looked at her father with questioning eyes, and then asked
"Father, what does this mean?"
"*Sigh*, Well the fourth prince asked his higness for Mei Lìxúe hand in marriage, based on their pasts i can say that they both hold favorible empression of each other. The Mei family left it all in our hands as their eldest daughter is already married to the crown prince and their second son is married to the sixth princess."
"But father what of Mei Ten's wish to betrothed Lìxúe'er to Chu Hai's son?"
With that one sentence everybody;s mood changed, to them Chu Hai was like a son and a brother. he fought with each men present and had saved each ones life many times before.
to the daughters he was like and elder brother that would protect and make them laugh at any given time, he was there when times were hard and was also there when times were great a true loyal friend.
So for them to pull out of the marriage was not only disrespectfull, it was also a slap to the face of the most loyal man the'ye known.
"We don't have a choice Han'er if we do not, we will be in the outs with his majesty, im sorry but your father will have to bear this responsibilty."
"Father allow me to break the news to him please"
"NO, i shall do it"
and with that the meeting was over, everyone retreated to their respectable quaters.

For three months Chu Feng toured the northern front with his fathers army. in the process hearning himself the title of three-hundred men commander, under his leadership his unit became a crack troop.
they're ability to operate under the most hazardous situations, and come out victorious which earned them the nickname of "Death spreading brigade". One if the reasons why they were one of the most feared and revered troops in the Chu Hai army was that they were a independent roaming unit.
Meaning that they were free to wage combat as they saw fit. they could act as support to other troops, act as a defensive line against the ennemy, or even scarier was they had the ability to launch surprise attacks.
With Chu Feng as their commander they became a highly organized and disciplined unit. Every member of the Death spreading brigade is an expert fighter and are capable of performing high level coordinated combat without even the slightest hint of disorder.
Their three hundred man unit had reached a level that surpasses that of the average 1000-man unit. They also specialized in guerrilla-warfare, fighting in areas deemed unmaneuverable such as forests and mountains.
They are known to accomplish their assignemts with deadly accurcy and pressision. What is even more troubleling to the enemy is their ruthlessness and extreme prejudice in combat.
One thing that baffled the higher ups of the Chu Has army was that at one point all of them were spritless, using Jo and his beast spirit encyclopedia Chu Feng was able to create a special pellet that would give them a beast spirit.
Using this technique, he created pellets of some of the most ferocius and downright tenacious beast spirits allowing his men to become cold-blooded killers. Which they already were from years of combat.
None who have crossed swords with them lived to tell the tales. They annihilate all who oppose them, and smash any all form of resistance, on the battlefield the young Chu Feng was given a nickname.
"The prince of death" while he was on the battlefield earning himself accolades and military recognitions his name was spreading throught the continent, from friends to foes all heard his name.
What was bothering Chu Hai was Chu Feng's cultivation rank. By no way was it lacking, as a matter of fact it he was also a prodigy at cultivating, in a spand of a few days his rank rose from a Level 1 Martial novice to a Level 59 Battle lord.
This shocked everyone who witness it, this boy crossed stages and jumped an entire realm in lease then a year. if this kind of talent was made known to the world, many expert would spit out a mouth full of blood.
And there are those who would stop at nothing to extenguish this rare talent. even the royal family would view him as a treat, one who posses a first rate rare ten-headed hydra spirit and also with a rare talent for culitvation.
Is a nightmare for all with aspirations for power. therefore Chu Hai and his camp had guarded Chu Feng's secret like it was the world's most vavluebale treasure, and they treated him care and respect, while pushing him to his limits.
Or so they tought, truth be spoken Chu Feng barely broke a sweat while doing all this, his father provided him all the first class and rare cultivation ressources available. And with the help of Jo he was able to maximized their effects.
thus he took full advantages of their potential. coupled with his knowledge and hos experience in alchemy he was able to make some of the most heavenly defined potions and pellets.
So after six grueling months of training and military exercise, Chu Hai's troops returned and after his forces returned he and his military officers were to report to the capital as usual for a debriefing with the Head of Military Affairs aand other generals.
Arriving at the royal capital city Chu Feng couldn't help but be surprised. In front of him stood an enormous structure, a wall the likes which he never saw. his brain was running different scenarios on how could he breach this fortress.
You see after the failed seige at the capital city by the coalition forces, the royal family decided the out walls would under drastic changes. With millions upon millions of gold coins spent, this was the results.
A wall a hundred feet high and a hundred feet wide, this gigantic structure was destined to bring a sense of inadequacy to the hearts of envading foes who wish to impregnate the city. Its walls were adorn by massive and equally high towers, balistic crossbows and other seige defensive weapons littered the walls.
Just when Chu Feng thought That it could not get worst, fate had other things in store.Just after crossing this monstrosity of a structure he was once again presented with another equally ridiculously massive walls.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
That is when it dawned on him that what he just passed was only the outer walls. In front of him stood another fifty feet high and fifty feet wide wall with exactly the same designs. Defensive towers, ballistic crossbow, and anti seige mechanisms.
sighing in his heart for now he gave up on the ideas and strategies on how to conquer a fortress of this magnitude, it was at this moment that Chu Hai pulled is horse next to his and began talking with his trademark smile plastered on his face.
"So are you impressed yet? HAHAHAHA, yup this here is the greatest defensive city in all of Agul"
After hearing Chu Hai's remark Chu Feng could not help but to nod his head in agreement, in his head however he was taking and memorizing all the specs of the outter and inner walls, trying to find weak points.
despite his efforts, the one thing he realized was that this highly defensive oriented city was in truth a death trap to all enemies, beneath all this were carefully placed booby traps all over the walls. and if one was to breach the outer perimiter it would in turn activate thus killing all of those on the walls.
Shakung his head at his revelation, he then began focusing on his cultivation. he had encountered a bottleneck, one which every cultivators had to face upon reaching the peak of the earth realm and to break into the sky realm.
Chu Feng wore the standard black colored armor of the Chu Hai army, but his armor was different from those mass produced or standard issued ones, just by look =ing at it one could tell it was made by an expert crasftman.
The armor was fitted and sat perfectly on his body, in his right hand he held a black long spear. On his left flank sat a war sword, his long hair is tied up and kept in place by a metal hairband. His eyes held a cold, sharp and deadly gaze. One that would make any onlookers shiver in fear,
his balck armor is outlined by red lines contouring the edges, on the center of it a skull with red eyes was carfully carved on it. in the eyes of every men he was the incarnation of death, but in the yes of the young maidens of the capital he was a jewel of the highest value.
His looks, coupled with the aura of a warrior that hung on his person was the bane of all maidens and women. some blushed, others threw him some seductive glances. Soon some shriecking in delight and others were whispering and asking who is that young warrior.
While the ladies eyes were having a feast and their minds were fantasizing, the men were not very happy some who's women were anchented by this young man, they were furious and gnashing their teeth in hate. but no matter what he paid them not his side Chu Hai could not keep a serious face and kept snikering, chuckling and outright laughing.
Soon an armored rider holding a yellow flag with a blue dragon on it was seen riding at full speed, he was like a ship. the pedestrians all moved out of the way, because this flag was the head of military affairs messenge flag.
When the rider was a few feet away from Chu Hai's party he suddenly cupped his hands and shouted in a loud but respectfull voice
"This lowly one pay his respect to Great general Chu Hai and young master Chu Feng"
It was as if a bomb had went off, the whole crowd broke out in chaos, one was because they had the opportunity to see a Great general and second to meet one as famous as Chu Hai, third they had the chance to meet the recently famed "prince of death" Chu Feng.
immediately those men who were grilling, and looking at Chu Feng in hatred averted their eyes out of fear. his fame and ruthlessness has spread far and wide, so those who were cowardly by nature wouldn't dare lock eyes with him.
On the side Chu h=Hai was still smilling, after nodding his head he spoke
"Relax, relax there is no need for formalities any ways what's up i know my way to the bureau of military affairs there was no need to send an envoy"
still tense the soldier replied
"Sir the Grand marshal would like to see you in private immideately thus sent your lowly servant to escort you"
puzzled by this turned of events Chu Hai answered
"I see, so the old man has urgent buisness with me" after thinking for a few moments he asked "what of my party where will they go?"
The soldier voice cracked as he provided an answer
"your party of officers will accompany you, but they will have to wait in the military affairs debreifing hall, as for young master..."
Before he could finish Chu Hai interupted him
"Don't worry about Feng'er he will be headed towards the military academy, oh and Feng'er wait for me at the Earthly paradise diner i will meet you there after taking care of some affairs."
Nodding in acknowledgement Chu Feng did not even waste his breath in talking, on his body Chu Feng had enough money to be considered a prodigal young master. but such was not his style.
After he and Chu Hai seperated, Chu Feng made his way towards the Earthy paradise, leading the way were two of Chu Hai's elite guards Hei Lang and Tang Mu each one of these men were at the peak of the Sky realm, yes each and one of these middle aged men were level eighty seven Soul Ancestors.
Along the way all three were quiet, out if all the men in his fathers army, he could not find a group of men who were the polar opposite of his father. Those two were quiet stoic and in some regards anti-social, hence why out of all the men around him those two were his favorite.
As the trip continued Chu Feng made an mental map of the erea, its ins and outs so to speak. He also made a few escape routes just in case things got hairy, in a way his training was so intergrated in his bones he wouldn't know how to kick if he could.
Soon they arrived at a huge gate upon entering they stood in a courtyard it was the entrance of the restaurant, people were leaving and entering, men, women on horses others in carriages, and some on foot.
The one thing those people all had in common was that their attires were all expensive, clearly showing their status. As soon as his horse got closer to the designated erea three attendants approached and took their horses.
With a wave of his left hand he put his spear away in his space ring, and skillfully took out three gold coins and discreetly slipped them to the horse attendants. upon realizing what had happened the three horse attendants all nodded respectfully, then left in order not to draw attetion on themselves.
Upon entering the hall, the heavy yet fragrent aroma of heavenly food smacked them square in the face. After looking around Chu Feng knew that buisness was booming and that this place was gold mine.
With a sweet smile. slender legs a delicate figured woman approached the three men. immediately she was throwing seductive glances at Chu Feng, in her mind he was a prodigal young master with a warrior fetish, hence why he was weaqring expensive armor.
His parents sent two bodyguards to help wipe his ass just in case, to her this was easy work. Get him wrapped around her fingers, a few sexual services and he will be throwing some coins her way. she had done this many times since she started working at the earthly paradice, of course she wasn't the only one, what made the earthly paradise popular was not only was the food first rate, the service was also extraordinary.
After she arrived in fron of them she said in a melodious and charming voice
"Sir, it would cost five taels of silver for a table and ten taels of silver for a private room "
without even batting an eyen Chu Feng took out ten taels, his cold and emotionless face didn't even give her a weakness to exploit. He did not check her out, he did not speak to her, nor did he even smiled at her.
inwardly she was cursing six generation of his ancestors, why was she so unlucky to meet this type of men today. In her mind she did not give up, she tought that she would need to perform a few services in order to get him to loosen up
taking the coins and depositing them in the box behind the counter, she said
"Please Gentlemen follow me"
Her fake smile did not crumble, after walking towards a private rooms on the second floor, her hips were swaying from side to side. it was so alluring that every men who saw her pass by could not stop staring, yet every glances she took at those three men, they're expressions were cold as ice.
out of anger she bit her lower lip, it was the first time her charms failed to work on a customer. So she was infuriated, and began to doubt herself and capabilities. What she did not know was that both of the middle aged men were eunuchs and as for Chu Feng...well he was a special case.
upon arriving at their destination, she opened the door and the men entered. She gave each one of them a menu, walked out and closed the door shut. As per custom the attendent will be seated on a chair outside of the room waiting for the customer to call them when ready to order.
Usually the men tell the female attendants to wait inside their room, it was simple really what man wouldn't want to be grace with the presence of a beautiful woman. Again today her luck ran out.
After ordering tea Chu Feng told her that she can go back to the front and wait for his guest he gave her a brief description of the man, and proceeded to completely ignore her presence.
This time she was cursing his past ten generation of ancestors, out of frury she once again left in a vile mood, she returned to the front of the restaurant in order to wait for the guest.
after a few minutes even through all the commotion in the restaurant, a loud and arrogant voice sounded out. Causing everyone who heard it too frowned, and cursed its owners parents for raising someone with this much of lack of manners.
“What?! The private rooms are full? Are you joking? Do you think I,Tang Kang lao, should sit with the other low lives?”
“Master Tang, they are really full. Could you please wait for a moment? Some of them are just finishing up.” The waitress seemed to be nervous.
“Huh, I will give you a cup of tea’s worth of time to clean a room for me. Otherwise, I will make your life miserable.”
a sweet voice was soon heard, without even much of an effort Chu Feng recognized it. Without a doubt it belonged to the waitress who sat them down, clicking his tongue he asked the two men sitting with hime for informtaion about this Tang Kang Lao
Hei Lang responded "young master this Tang Kang Lao is the son of the tenth wealthiest merchant in the state of Sai Tang Chang Xiao "
chuckling Chu Feng sneered "what ranked tenth and this boy thinks the sun rizes out of his ass, *snort* talk about an over enflated ego. Anyway it seems like we are going to have some trouble coming our way boys."
in unision bothe men nodded their heads, it seems like they recognized the voice of the waitress, and could also pick up the nervousness in her voice, hence they knew she would make a beeline for their private room.
And soon enough she came up running opening the door, the waitress rubbed her hands and said in a quiet humble tone
Three sirs, I hope you could give this room to the guests outside. All the food you had will be on the house.”
Chu Feng sneered, and said in a cold voice
“There are so many restaurants in the Happy Town, they can find a place to eat.”
he waitress knew she messed up, so she hurried to cover her mouth. truth be told she could of gone to any other rooms, but she chose this one because she knew that she couldn't have her way with them.
Hence she tried getting rid of them in order to get Tang Kang Lao in, because he was your basic wastrel and she could milke him dry. Feeling embarrassed she tried digging herself out of the hole by using higher authority. In desperate move she mentioned the owner
"Well you see the owner s..."
before she could even finish her sentence a suffocating and cold energy enveloped her body she dropped to her knees, it felt as if she was being pressed down by a mountain. terror dread, regret, fear. All those emotions flashed through her eyes, she knew today she messed up, and it may very well lead to death.
A bone chilling voice rang out following that aura and it asked one question
"What did the owner say?"
Not only her but the whole entire building felt it too. Those experts who were eating all frowned and astonished to be able to put out that baleful of an aura with just killing intent alone, this meant that the one emmiting it has reaped the life of millions, some of the weaker ones were in the same state as the waitress.
In the hearts of all who were present, they all had the same thought "By any circumstances we mustn't anger this expert"
Amongst the chaos a magnetic, yet melodious voice with a tinge of maturity rang out, and it said.
"Please, great sir why don't you give them your room, and allow i Feng Xue'er to treat you"
After thinking it over for a second Chu Feng answered.
"I apologize for the for the inconvenience my lady, also i was here waiting upon my fathers wishes, if i do accept your hospitality then i will have to also trouble you to receive my father who is on his was here from an important meeting."
the voice once again sounded out
"Yes that will be fine sir, it would be an honor in accommodating you, your men and father."
with a simple response Chu Feng agreed
"Thank you"
after he and his man got up, and walked across the hall upon exiting the room chaos broke out once again. this time everyone was surprised to see this young man walk out, but around him hung a sliver of the same oppresive aura that shook all of the to their core.
That is what made them even more petrified, all the experts present were sending word to their respective clans asking to investigate this boy, and found out who and he what he was.
after arriving at the door which the voice came out off. Chu Feng knocked twice out of courtesy, and soon as he finished the same sweet and charming voice once again rang out, and it said.
"Come in"
Sliding the door open Chu Feng saw a woman sitting down surrounded by ten guards each at tge same level of his own guards. she was wearing a white-colored robe that accentuated her picture-perfect figure that only the devil could offer.
Her figure possessed an allure that could seize the hearts of anyone with just a single motion. Her clothes were on point with how they had been tied. Not a single part of her robes was messed up. Her beautiful eyes, and they were profound, but serene.
Her beautity would cause the fall of countless nations if seen. with a smile she said
" Sir by any chance are you not going to come in?"
answering with his own smile Chu Feng said
"I apologize once again"
