As I regain consciousness i felt warm, and very comfortable as if I belong in this environment, but soon I snap my eyes open and realized that I was alive

I quickly checked my condition and realized that my body was intact and that I was buck naked weird right.

But still I was quite shocked to be alive really because I could sworn I was a goner then when I was floating in that empty space towards the light.

Another thing that caught my attention was the fact that I was currently under water with uneven cut walls on each sides of me

The surface of the walls were all jagged and looked like they were naturally made by withstanding the test of time.

It was narrow enough to fit 3 adult males of average builds and have barely enough room for anything else.

I looked up and all I saw was a round shaped light by my estimation that either the sun or the moon but couldn’t be too sure from my position

And also based on the amount of pressure being pressed against my body I could tell I was at least 500-520 feet underwater

All in all it didn’t really bother me much because of my augmentation I have eighty percent more protein in my muscles than the average human, making it possible for me to store oxygen in my body thus allowing me to hold my breath for over an hour under water.

While thinking about the recent events that transpired I was just casually sitting on the floor of the body of water I wasn’t too sure whether or not it was an ocean, a lake, a river hell it did not matter to me

The only thing that mattered was whether or not those assholes were gone or not

If I would have to fight again or not I was kind of hoping for option A but after further planning I decided it wasn’t such a good idea for one I was alone

Two I was alone and judging from the state of thing I was naked and weaponless so it would not do much in helping my case

After carefully considering and weighing my options I decided to make my way to the surface by then a little over an hour had past as I carefully make my way to the surface at frightening speed I could not help but to feel amazed and thankful yet again due to or augmentations

I now possesses strength, speed, adaptability, agility, coordination, stamina, durability, endurance, lung-capacity, reflexes, health, instincts, regenerative capabilities, intelligence, keen senses, and accuracy that were far beyond those of a normal humans or other species.

My muscles were lean and brawny, and my body shape wouldn’t change no matter how much calories I intake before my death i was 6 feet 5 inches tall, and weight 275 Lbs, judging from my inspection my height and weight are identical.

Another result was my skin are similar to that of a whale and that my body hair is capable of creating bubbles, thus reducing friction in the water and allowing me to travel at the fastest speed possible under water.

While thinking all of that shit I was getting nearer to the surface and to that nice big bright round shaped light judging form it I can clearly make say that I was the sun

As I edge closer I reduce my speed in order to push my head barely over the surface to peek out, and quickly collect information.

What entered my field of vision was VERY disturbing, and that was being modest.

Ok fuck it, it was downright haunting. Just as I peeked out all I saw was a male genitalia standing at full attention right in my fucking face, it was close enough too….JUST KNOW THE FUCKING THING WAS TOO CLOSE FOR CONFORT

I closed my eyes, and jumped out of the water landing a few steps away from the man, and out of panic and, shock i uncontrollably yelled out in surprise to my unwanted surprise.

“What the fuck”

“Oh well hello there, I didn’t think I’d be having company here while relaxing.”

A deep commanding voice rang in my ears

I reluctantly turned around, and took a look at the man while carefully maintaining eye contact because the last thing I want is him thinking I’m a peter gazer, or worse yet some pervert here to peek at women who were in the middle of their leisure time.

The man has a warrior's build with bulging muscles, and intense eyes on top of which his eye brows sits like to slanted swords. He has a thin mustache and a goatee as well. His body is covered in numerous scars showing that he has been in many battles. He has long black hair tied up in a ponytail by my estimation is should be in his early to mid-thirties.

But even so I feel no presence from him almost like he is a saint, but judging from the state of his body and the way he looks at me I can tell he is no ordinary man.

I swallowed a gulp of saliva, and regain the composure of a soldier in the midst of a life or death battle, and confidently answered:

“ sorry  sir, I was free diving and trying to push the limits of my capabilities by holding my breath for as long as possible”

while maintain my composure my mind was doing the opposite, and was thinking (i hoped he believes because shit that story sounds stupid as hell)

The man took a deep long look at me which was very awkward because we are both adorn in our birthday suit, and staring at each other in eye.

Now I am by no means prejudice nor do I really care about that sort of stuff.  in my old life such things did not matter to me.

The whole concept of sexual drive, or sexual preferences was pointless because as a well oil machine created and trained for war, we were giving sever training in order to control our urges.

Plus added with the augmentations we could turn them on and off like a switch.

But for better performance we kept them shut off, so with that said I am in no position to comment on that whole topic but what I did know was that this stand-off was seriously weird.

After a brief silence the man laugh and said

“Well it seems like you are training for war because I have been here for nearly an hour, and to hold your breath for that long you must be practicing martial arts”

I was kind of shocked to hear him say that so I decide to probe a little to get a feel for my surrounding, but still dude put some fucking clothes on already.

“Well thank you but what war are you referring to sir”

 he looked at me like had nine heads his facial expressions were that of man lost for words, and he cleared his throat and said

“Ai it seems like young kids these days like to tease adults if not then you must’ve left part of your brain in that hole over there” he continued before I had a change to defend myself

“Son our state of "Sai" is a superpower our lands stretch far to the east and to the west our territories share borders with five other states from east to west you have the state of "Chin", the state of "kai", the state of "Zan", the state Wu and finally the state of "Pan" each of these five states have the greed to expand their lands, and our state of Sai is the largest state on this continent the second largest is the state of "Xan" located in the north but we have never had any conflict with them since we do not share any borders with them.”

I quickly registered the history lesson in my consciousness, and eagerly awaited more history lesson and current state of affairs and get an accurate reading where in earth I am.

He continued with his monologue like he was a teacher, and the funny thing is he reminded me of my history instructor back in my boot camp days.

I unconsciously answered him back with a confused look

“Though I can tell that you are a lot more complex than you are showing me for instance you act as if you’re an innocent yet aloof teenager

but no matter what you do that stench and that bloodlust coming of your body ain’t normal at all specially to someone as young as you.

this might really work out for the best but it is too early to show my cards or my thought so I will continue to observe and listen.

I guess that was his way of getting attention, or was his way of being free from under me. Either way I had to do it if not xue’er would’ve…”

 He looks down as he kept on trying to convince himself that the action he took was the appropriate or not.

  His killing intent kept on fluctuating, and to my surprise it did not lose out to mine nor to my former jackal soldiers, On the contrary it surpassed anything I’ve ever seen or felt before.

It makes me wonder, I’ve killed thousands but looking at him I cannot help but feel a shiver runs down my spine. ' just how many people must have this man killed to release such astronomical killing intent?'

Finally he looks up and smiles at me, his hawk like eyes focus on me and his sword like eye brows suddenly frowns an eerie yet malicious smirk appear on his face, in a cold and detached voice he asks me

“Are you an enemy or not?”

 “No”

With absolute calm and confidence I answer him without a hint of nervousness

“Where are you from?”

“I don’t know, we were kept in cages and force to fight for our live, food, even the right for a name. I killed everybody I was pitted against.

then one day one man walked in my cage and said that I was no longer needed, so they knocked me out when I came through I was in that hole with shackles on but I had a way to escape them by picking the lock”

As kept on spewing bullshit out of my mouth from books I’ve read in the library back on base, there were a few which I could say were my favorites and they were “the Gladiator” and “the count of Monte Cristo”. so I wasn’t hard coming up with something on the fly

“I see sorry”

As he said that the tense atmosphere suddenly lightens up
