A naked man was released from a white colored pod, as the valve from the pod was released. Gas was coming out from the designated hole. Getting out of the pod, he then stretches his body. A few cracks here and there could be heard from the joints of Mera.
‘waaa that was good, a 5 hour nap by the beach is certainly God-sent’
Spending 2 hour playing the game it was enough for Mera for the moment. Other users beside him were staying in game for about 8 hours plus straight and for the top level users they are even spending a full day without resting.
Currently after 4 month the game was released, the highest level a user has achieved was at level 62. The forum was going wild with the news released from a dedicated site for the game Legend of Eterna. Most of the users after trying it first hand were the leveling in this game was quite difficult. Breaking the upper 30 level was even considered to be an achievement for the 4 month old game. This can probably be said due to the lack of information gathering regarding training sites, quest, reward, or items. That is why the existent of forums and blogspot regarding the game is helpful for the game.
The reluctant of the users prove hard to break, most of them like to keep secret all for themselves in hope to best others. But then a thread was open in a new forum, a certain group of user band together to create a forum for the benefits of others and themselves. They started to share new quest and then new dungeon and after that good training spot for users to grind their level.
R on the other hand was trying not to rely on such thing, it would take the fun out of the game. So being clueless was better than knowing so much. Still walking around naked in his apartment he then start to getting himself ready, experiencing the game itself he was now curious regarding the student of virtual reality course.
‘ouh yeah shouldn’t those guys also start to play the game, I wonder what they are doing right now’

‘hey Meru, don’t just watch cast some spell on them’
A glass wearing human wielding a sword was confronting a fox while shouting at his fellow companion an elf that looks a bit chubby in size wearing beginner clothing while holding a wand. Meru retort back to that glass guy.

On the other side of the battle field another man with broad shoulder and a large figure was fighting another fox with his bare hands. He only laughs seeing his two colleagues having difficulty with one single fox.

The fox a common creature that run on the grassy plain that is usually can be found near the beginner town. It was made for new user to get used to fighting in this new game after gaining level 5 and above. The location these three are training themselves was in one of the three major cities for beginner. Comparing it to the original world, it may as well resemble Britain in its geographical structure and weather condition.
Outside Avalon city, Meru was done with killing foxes. Lying down on the soft green grass, he then takes a breather to catch up to his breath. Then came two more users lying down beside him, both of them are human in species.
Meru - ‘fun isn’t it this game’
Shark - ‘more like a pain in the ass, thank goodness it’s a good one haha’
BlkCore - ‘fck you shark, don’t quote that kind of word its disgusting’
Shark - ‘hahahaha’
Meru – ‘anyway since we were fighting for 5 hours straight, what level are you guys now?’
BlkCore – ‘since we are party I guess more or less we are at the same level, Im level 5’
Meru – ‘me Lv.4 what about you Shark?’
With an arrogant pose, he brag to them
Shark – ‘bow before me you peasant for I am Lv.6 haha’
A blank face crossed both of their face, the difference was only 1 level but Shark was certainly proud about that advantage of being 1 level higher. Strength wise he could be said to be above them in a certain way, fighting monsters around him while using his bare hand only it was a feat that hardly other users could imitate.
These three users are all a friends of Mera back in his home country. All three of them are avid gamer, Mera usually play online game with them during the days he was addicted to gaming. Out of three, all of their skills are more or less the same.
They haven’t heard about Mera playing the game, the three of them purely play the game as a real time experience of virtual reality.
Lying on the grass bed, they stare at the bluish color sky at that moment Meru hint them regarding a quest;
Meru – ‘hey guys I heard a rumor about a newbie quest that gave out a lot exp, want to try?’
BlkCore – ‘can it be trusted, I don’t want to die during the quest’
Meru – ‘yea sure, the forums are going haywire talking that it’s the best quest for newbie during this confinement period’

Meru – ‘ya ya Shark, don’t get cocky damn it if you are in a pinch I wont help you, you know’

Meru – ‘ouh we’re going to Dungeon Leprechaun’
The three of them then raised their body from the ground, pieces of grass was falling over from their backside. Walking slowly back to the town for provision, they want to be prepared before going in a dungeon. As the scene of them vanish into the crowd in front of the town’s gate, a man holding a bow in his hand has now return to the world of virtual reality.
‘fuh~~ time to shoots some arrows then’
R had come back after completing all the necessities that the human body need, waste disposal, hygiene, energy storage or in other word eating and getting his laundry done. It would be sad if he has no undies to wear after playing the game.
Returning to his usual spot, he then go through the proper step by step condition of him training. Setting up the dummies was the first priority. After taking his distance, he then begins his training. Arrow by arrow was released hitting the same spot in the center circle, he was getting quite good with it. but the distance was still 5 meters.
He need to get his range a lot more further if he want to be than the rest. After all his arrows hit the center circle, he was now prepared to add up the distance to 10 meters.
This process continues on until he had reached the 4 hour mark. His body was profusely sweating, even in game, the mechanic of the norm was perfectly imitated. Stamina would always be decreases after a certain action or skill, R in his own way kept the usage of stamina to the bare minimum.
Preserving his stance while drawing his arrow, he managed to cut a lot of stamina usage due to getting rid of excessive movement. He gains a few stats up after the tiring 4 hour training regime.

He was now immune to the ever increasing in his status, he was happy but not that excited enough for him to jump around. For starters, he want his archery level to raise above the beginner level into the intermediate rank before the end of his confinement period. That way he would have a lot stronger attack to hunt mobs.
But a problem came to him, the arrows
Arrows are consumable items, thus after using it would be gone if the durability drop to zero. While practicing shooting the dummy, one single arrow was able to be use for three to four rounds of shooting after that it will vanish into dust of particles.
The arrows he got was from his dear Ailani, getting it for free by extor- I mean as a gift was helpful to him but thinking far ahead, it would later poses a problem to him in the near future.
Walking back to the guild building, he casually strolls along the ground eyeing the shop around here. Since there were no other users here, the shop was barely visited. One thing that he notices in this shopping area was there is no weapon or armor selling shop.
R was now wondering if he had chosen a bad spot to begin with but he then shrugs it off seeing it was not important at the moment. Checking out the other store he then stumbles upon a woodcrafter workshop.
Streamline of different wood sculpture was display in front of the shop. In the inside were multiple design of different kind of statue or furniture.
Woodcrafter was a generalized manufacturing type of class. It served the purpose of building wooden type of items, such as houses, statues, furniture, staff, oars, wands and even bows. R didn’t know regarding this information but he certainly gain an interest after seeing the shop up closed.
Since the front part of the shop has no one, he was curious if the owner of this shop wasn’t worried about his item getting stolen. Wandering around the shop, he then heard a feminine voiced came from the backside of the shop that was cover by bead like curtains.
‘Whose there?’
A tall maiden with elegant features came out from the curtain. She was a tall blonde beauty, with a height of 180cm she towers upon R’s short height. Her facial feature wasn’t the usual characteristic of island dwellers. Her face resemble the beauty of an European with tan like skin which maybe darken due to the expose of the sun of the tropical.
With her emerald green eyes she questions R,
‘ooo you are user, been long time since I saw one’

A smile was shown to R by the sweet face of the European elf beauty in front of him. Before he let his heart skip a beat, he then turns his glance toward other things while replying to her’

‘good man, now here the spot where you should find the type of wood I was searching for’
She brings out a map in front of R from her inventory, showing the location of the material she then went her way of telling him that he need to chop all the wood into a specific measurement. She also lent him an axe for him to chop those woods. The axe was heavily decorated with carvings of ethical feautres which he do not know off but after holding it on his hand he can felt a surge of power that he can’t really describe off.
‘so how much do I need to bring?’
‘ouh getting 4 to 5 block of wood would be enough’
‘ok see you again then’
R then left without asking any more relevant information, smitten by the beauty of that half-elf he forgot to do his usual routine of taking an advantage from the unexpected. But since he was half way through, it would be a waste of time heading back so he continue on.
Faelwen then continue doing her work at the workshop, holding her utensils as she then remember something;
‘oh dear, I forgot to tell him the monster around there was probably level 13 or so, should I worry? Hmm nevermind if he cant bring it to me maybe tomorrow I would go by myself’
The half elf then nonchalantly continues on her works with not a single shred of worries toward R.
Arriving at his designated spot, R glance around the surroundings to see if he found the tree he was looking. An image of the tree drawn on a piece of paper was the only hint given by Faelwen.
Looking closely, he still doesn’t the tree. He then ventures deeply into the forest. At first he was skeptical thinking he could not get out of town but seeing the map the small forest located northeast of the town was regard as area of the town. Not to dwell too much regarding that minor issue he then continue to search the tree that he need to chop.
Suddenly he then stop at his tracks, his eyes was prying towards a moving abnormalities. A cluster of the trees that he needs to gather was surround by odd looking beast.
Resembling a quadrupedal animal, its body seems to be made out of rocks. Their height was at most 3 feet or so. The overall appearance doesn’t seem to be intimidating but R was conscious against things that he does not know off.
With his intuition and expertise in finding the flaw of his enemies, he then climbs on top of a tree. Observing the creature from afar, he notices no extraordinary movement beside them grazing the grass around the tree he was searching for.
A rock monster eating grass was sure irrelevant but I guess there is merit in them eating grass. Stating that they are herbivores in nature thus the chance of them being aggressive in a pack like structure would be nil.
So the plan was to pick them off by one by one.
The distance between R and the furthest monster was 50 meters in distance. So he needs to finish them off starting by the nearest one to his location.
Before he attempt on eliminating the rock monster, he observe them if there is anything that he could find. After an hour of close observation he noticed the eye of the beast was not mineral like. Thus stating it may be its weak point.
Trying to target the eye of the rock monster, he then targeted the closest of them all. At a distance of approximately 8 to 9 meters, he gauge the distance between them so the arrow would hit it marks.
R was now at a comfortable range, repositioning himself at a better angle on top of the tree branch, he take his aim.
The closest target in front of him was 8 meter into the distance. Targeting its eye, R slowly draw his bow while breathing in. Maintaining the position while holding his breath, he adjusts the arrow while lining it down to its eye.
Waiting for the right moment, the rock monster then start grazing the grass, it was now or never. During its grazing time it took about 4 second for it to eat it before letting it head raise up again.
The 4 second window was crucial, he then releases it. The arrow flew as it propel by the wind.
‘THUMP’ a light thump sound was heard after the arrow hit its target
The rock monster stand motionless as an arrow was embedded into its eye. The shot was dead on the target, the arrow penetrate to its other eye that was located at the other side. It then falls silently to the ground.

Hitting it weakness, R gain a one shot kill. A critical hit immensely increase the overall damaged, allowing R to kill it immediately. Another pop up window open again stating he has gain a level.

He was now level 3. Not knowing the exact level of the rock monster, he was able to defeat them effortlessly or into word energy expenditure wise.
With another 16 to 17 rock monster left on the plain, all he need to was concentrate and target its eye. the hunt begin with him a killing a few of them easily while also gaining a few level. After the 4th or 5th rock monster, his accuracy was starting to waver.
An arrow that he shot misses the target causing the monster to be more aware and closing off any sign of weakness. R had to wait for a while to avoid any agro from the other monster around it while also waiting for it to becoming calm again, better be cautious rather than reckless.
After that, it was smooth sailing without any incident as the last one. R finishes off everyone one of those monster that inhabit those land. He gained a total of 4 levels up while also gaining a new skill that was due to his impeccable continuous critical hit.

Gaining a useful ability, he then ran to the designated trees. Up close, the tree itself was deem to be quite different than the usual one. The bark was darkish in red color hinting the exquisite feel of the trunk of the tree. Its leave was like maple leaf back in the real world not very suitable with the tropical atmosphere.
The tree itself was an anomaly to its surrounding, but what caught his eye was the nectar that was oozing out of tiny hole located at the bark of tree. The amount was little but it was incredible how he could spot those tiny crevices.
Taking a nip out of the nectar, it was the delicious the sweetness of it spread in R mouth while also has an added smoky flavor elevate the overall taste. It was unique in nature and tasty too.
No wonder Faelwen want to have this kind of tree as her material. Getting into his job he then bring out his axe.
Taking a good stance with a wide angle he begins to cut the tree. As the axe swing into the bark, a lone man tirelessly hit the tree without any rest.
As the sun has set, a tree falls from the distance with the sun as its background. He gained a few stats after successfully cutting the tree.
